^ yup bawal mag picture taking sa immigration area. 1st time namin nasita nung nasa immigration kami ng Vietnam, kinuhanan kami ng picture ng friend ko. sinabihan sya na bawal.
bawal din tumawag sa phone sa immigration area. 1st time ko nasabihan nung kadarating ko somewhere at naka pila na ako sa immigration sa naia. bawal daw gumamit ng phone while in the immigration area.

si brother in-law naman baliktad, hinanapan sya ng camera, hubby will meet him up in hk e, first time nya mag travel abroad, then pagdating sa hk, IO asked him if anong purpose, sumagot sya, vacation, then, IO asked him, san camera mo?, then he answered na wala syang cam, sabi ni IO, mag tour ka wala kang cam?, then daming tanong pa sa kanya, nagduda siguro yung officer. kaya he later on reason na meeting point nila ang hk, bago umuwi ng pinas at yung cam sa brother pa.

first time i traveled out of the country 2 years ago. Nahrang aki sa immigation sa HK. Was so scared dinala ko sa parang isang office. I sat sa waiting area. My filipina looking girl dun and she started talking to me in tagalog. The IO asked me if i know the girl sabi ko No. Sabi nung IO.. then don't talk to strangers. So naupo na lang ako ulit waited for my name to be called. The IO asked me my purpose for travel. Hiningi yung hotel voucher  ko, Airpane ticket pabalik and asked for my CCs. He also asked me if may kasama akong mag travel. I said yes my friends are waiting outside. Then yun after a few moment binalik na yung passport ko. 2nd time to HK wala na kong problema sa IO.

^^ i think iba naman yung situation because the IO asked for it versus flashing your camera for them too see abd taking pictures maski bawal. Mas agaw pansin yun and masisista ka pa

^kaya nga sis sabi ko baliktad e. Hinanapan sya ng cam, since most ng tourist may cam. kaya naalala ko lang re cam issue. I guess this is just one way lang naman nila to start their question, sometimes IO just test you if may consistency ang answer mo. just like in my older post, sabi ko may mga IO lang talaga na makulit din.

yung sister ng friend ko naharang sa immigration sa Pinas, papunta siyang HK kasi nanganak yung asawa ng kapatid niya so tutulong siya alaga for two weeks. hinanapan siya company id, eh she's not working at dalaga pa, pero 30years old na. first time to travel, may dalang pocket money. hinanapan siya invitation letter at resident id ng brother niya, pinadalhan siya pero nalimutan niya iprint.. pero dala niya business card sinabi niya pwedeng iverify sa kapatid niya andun naman hk #, pero di pumayag IO. ayun di nakaalis at nasayang ang tiket....

sa askin naman mga sis, pagpunta ko ng singapore last dec 2012, napunta ako sa babae, mukha siyang mabait kaya siya napili ko, pero bliktad pala, ayun tinadtad ako ng tanong, dapat palalampasin na niya ako, kaso pinabalik ako at kinuha yung marriage certificate namin at tinanong isa isa kung ano name ng wife ko, san kame kinasal, kung kelan atbp. napansin niya na hindi na ako natutuwa at nag-sungit talaga ako, kaya ayun, pinaalis niya na ako. naiintindihan ko naman wrok nila, kaso minsan halatang pinagtitripan ka na nila. dalawang beses na nangyare sa akin yun.

paano mga sis kung wala work pero may money naman? let's say kakaresign lang kaya may pera pa rin sa account. and kung may work naman, company id ang titingnan?

^ yes sis. Company id.. We can't blame them din kasi andami nga naman na aalis as tourist pero pagdating dun sa country eh maghahanap work or magwowork ilegally.. Dati daw nung di pa nauudo mga direct hiring sa singapore, malaysia at hk or others eh maluwag daw.. I guess nakaka-receive kasi sila ng reports from other country mismo.. Pero kawawa lang talaga yung ang main purpose talaga eh magtravel..

wala naman akong negative experience sa mga IO, ginagawa ko lang naka titig talaga ako sa kanila at seryoso ang mukha ko . nakaready din palaging ang mga docs ko pero ang palagi lang naman hinihingi ng mga local IO ang return ticket. sa HK IO palang ako nakaramdam ng kaba kasi ang tagal bago nastamp ang passport ko more than 5 mins ata at ilang beses tiningnan ang passport ko para masiguro ata na ako ang nasa picture .

I also have no problems going through immigration especially in HK immigration because I think I am chinita with Philippine Passport ?  Maybe that is why they don't ask me too much questions anymore.  I just answer the questions of the IO in a respectful way.  I dont smile at them just to avoid misunderstanding whether it is a good or a bad smile.  Normal lang.  I think yun yung way to avoid being questioned a lot.

^Nung first time namin dun sis mukang okay naman. Gabi na kasi yun kaya parang wala nang gana at tinatamad na magtrabaho yung IO na napunta samin. Lol.

^^been there four times and ok naman sis. may nakasabay kami twice na naquestion pero generally mabait naman sila unless they notice something unusual. Yung last trip namin was with our son and pansin ko mas mabilis no questions hehe

Same here. When travelling with my kids and hubs, wala na mashadong questions. But when I went to HK for business purpose, dami din tanong. Hiningi din proof ng hotel accomodation ko and kung how much daw ang pocket money kong dala.

Help naman po, plan kasi ng mama ko na magvacation kami ng younger sis ko sa Malaysia pero unfortunately bawal ako magleave sa job ko.
OFW kasi mama ko sa Saudi kaya kaming dalawa lang ng sis ko ang magtatravel papuntang Malaysia then dun na lang niya kami i-meet.
Kaso yung problem baka sis ko na lang mag-isa magtravel kasi di ako pedeng magleave.
Pede kayang magtravel yung sis ko magisa? She's only 18 lang kasi and never pa siya nagtravel kahit ako kaya di ko alam kung papayagan siya ng IO. Sagot ng mama ko yung travel niya lahat lahat.

^there's no problem with it sis, just make sure na all pertinent documents are available (passport, travel ticket, etc)

based on my experience with IO, first you just have to be honest with all the questions that they will ask and make sure you have all the documents needed i.e. hotel reservation if tourist, passport, two-way ticket, one time IO asked me how much dala kong pocket money. May 3rd time going to SG naman  na hold ako for questioning kasi IO found out walang stamped yung last departure, i was asked to go to their office for more questioning, and wow! the IO was very rude(guy sya) i explained and explained pinaiikot nya ako but i have same answers and i stood with that cause it's the truth. Sabi ko sa kanya if you're office is equipped with security cam then they will know, eventually he gave up at ipinasa nya ako sa isa pang IO so, nakatatlo na ako then i explained, elaborate etc, etc.. finally sya lang nakaintindi then she told the two IOs na bakit daw ako na-hold e wala naman daw prob. Kainis talaga i was crying na kasi last call na hindi na ako umabot so re-booked at dagdag gastos. Last year naman, the IO from SG asked me to smile kasi di ko daw kamukha yung pic ko sa passport sabi ko that was taken years ago and look at me now, i am so thin cause i am sick. Ayun, so just deal with them with all honesty.
