minsan mood mood lang din yang sa IO pero nung time ko mabait naman sila may masungit talaga na sisindakin ka pero if you know how to answer na may confidence but not arrogant naman magiging ok naman. nakipag kwentuhan pa nga sakin yung officer  at niloloko pa nila ako na baka maiwan ako ng plane ko sa kadadaldal namin. pray lang and confidence kaya nyo yan!

Napaka discriminating ng IO sa Clark! First time to travel in Clark, Was travelling with my mom.
We just renewed our passports so it was a spanking 5day old one! I didn't attached na the old one, wrong move: I should've since my valid US visa is still there.

The IO might've assume na first time to travel at baka mag hanap ng work. Ang damii tanong.
Return tickets, ano raw yung self employed at Ano raw ang name ng business, pinasulat pa ang family business namin.
At addresses of our hotel in HK! My gosh sino makakaalam nun sabi ko, I only have the name!

Hindi nya naisip na I was travelling with a senior mom. I was almost tempted to whip out my old filled passport with some visas attached. And tell him 'Kuya hindi po namin first time' we never encountered this situation in NAIA. Ever!

My tita, Tito & cousin are queued behind us, all US / immigrant citizen WALA TANONG. Derecho derecho Lang. What the eff talga diba. Discrimination in its mighty form.

Don't feel too bad sis. I had the same experience as you. My passport has alot of stamps and visas naman but I wrote "none" under work. Nagtataka siguro ang IO how I was able to travel alot with no work. Sabi ko I recently resigned and got married. IO told me to change it to "housewife" instead. Asked me what company I used to work for etc etc. I flew a lot of times via NAIA 1,2,3 and I was never asked as much as clark IO's. Oh, it was bad entering too. Super haba ng pila. They had 2 officers entertaining filipinos which is like 95% of the passengers. And also 2 IO's for foreigners. na less than 5% off passengers. Mega pila tuloy as in! Kaloka sa Clark. Doon ata tinatakas yung mga for human trafficking kaya ang strict nila!

Im a newbie in this forum po.. I kept on reading this forum for quite some time and also some related forums like ourairports.. haayy. Im just bein worried about our trip on October.. We will fly to HK for 3days, we dont have an invitation letter. We only have 2way ticket, hotel confirmation, pocket money (700 uSD) and credit cards. Do u think it'll be enough for 3days vacation? grabe kasi mga nababasa ko about Clark IOs.. help gers please..
BTW-- I will travel with my boyfriend. Just the two of us.. We are both 22 years old.

And last question, about the company ID. will they call our company for verifications? Our flight is as early as 7am. wala pang tao sa office nun.. hehe

Naku sana naman waka akong maging problem. I'll be going to Hongkong next year with hubby and my 3 yr old daughter. First time namin outside the country via DMIA din, after reading a lot of negative feedback sa ma IO ng DMIA bigla tuloy akong kinabahan, gift pa naman namin sa anak namin yong tour sa Disneyland and Ocean Park

Sa DMIA din kami to HK. I was with my bro-in-law, his sister, and my sister. It was my first intl trip i.e. first passport stamp. Maraming tanong, but addressed sa aming lahat. since 3 of us are currently employed and the other one still schooling, it turned out well naman.

Recently, sa NAIA 3 naman ako to SG. Mabait yung natapat sa amin. Nakipagkuwentuhan pa siya kasi yung kasama ko has been to AU. Buti na lang, more than an hour pa bago ang boarding namin kaya okay lang makipagchikahan. Tinanong lang niya kung ilang days kami, ano work namin, ano nature ng company. concerned pa nga siya samin. gusto pa kasi namin bumalik kasi di pa kami kumakain. sabi niya pumasok na raw kami kasi baka magkaaberya pa pag lumabas pa kami.

dont be scared. they cant stop you from leaving or entering the philippines if your not doing anything illegal. wag nalang kayo mag sabay sa interview with the IO since mag bf palang naman kayo.

^^just bring your company id. di naman sila normally tumatawag they just want to check. meron naman kayong 2-way ticket and hotel accomodation na eh. ok na siuro yung 700usd sis kasi may credit cards naman kayo.

i also remember my first international trip, im with my bf then and we're bound to SG. sabay kaming pumunta sa IO, and true, they got annoyed with our approach, so pinaurong muna yung isa which is my ex and since we're bf-gf then i was asked with personal questions. hehe! i was asked if my parents were aware that i'll be staying in my bf's place. hehe! mind u, i was already 26 that time. hehe! in the end, i was allowed to be boarded naman. it happened in NAIA 1 btw.

just remember below when facing the IO:
-be confident, dont be nervous, just relax
-answer only what is being asked
-show only the docs being requested to check
-dont approach the IO as a group if you're just a bf-gf or group of friends, do this
only if you're really a family
-dress appropriately
-prepare your complete docs prior approaching IO but dont show all, at least u know where to get them in case asked.

i travelled alone via T3 and DMIA and sa T3 wala naman akong naging problema, i was just asked regarding the oil price (i was working in an oil company that time) then in DMIA naman, the usual question and i was just asked to show my company ID.

Just be confident, relax, answer only what is being asked, dress nice and smile! 

i remember a funny incident before, grace under pressure ako while answering questions from the IO, mega smile syempre, he was asking alot of things like itinerary, hotel bookings, then i don't know paano napunta doon, he started to smile back and had this look, and the next thing i knew, he was flirting with me na. Haha as in super embarrassing!

kami, nagsabay kami ng friend ko sa IO. di naman kami pinagalitan. hesitant pa nga ako eh, dahil sa mga nababasa ko dito. pero nakita namin na merong group of ladies na sabay2x pumunta sa IO and hindi naman sila pinagalitan. di sila family, more on same agency na magwowork sa ibang bansa..

@bleztapon sis dont worry basta may work ka at mapakita mo ang COmpany ID, wala na sila tanong. since 3 days lang din naman kayo sa HK, at pag tinanong kayo, just tell them tourist kayo.

mga sis, kailangan ba me hotel booking na or voucher from hotel pag papunta ng ibang bansa like canada as tourist lang kung sakaling itanong ng IO? tnx....

I had a bad encounter with an IO nung papunta ko SG, yearly i travel abroad for vacation and first time ko may nag question sakin. Dko alam na issue pala ang walang work. Kasi 5x nako naka travel e wala pang nagpatigil sakin. So ayun, he asked where is my roundtrip ticket, saan ako mag sstay, ano gagawin ko sa sg,aba sabi ko syempre mag babakasyon. I showed him my universal studios ticket and booked hotel voucher. Tinanong nya ko ulit saan daw ako nag wwork, sabi ko im not working, sabi diretso daw ako dun sa isang room for questioning. Parang wth? Yung kasama ko na dun mag wwork e hindi hinold, tapos ako na magbabakasyon dun yung knwestyon. I dont even look like an ofw para mukang mag tnt dun haha. So pumunta ko sa room, yung babae dun parang nagtaka pa sabi bakit ka pina hold? Sabi ko i really dont know. Sa totoo lang nakaka discriminate ginagawa nila. Gusto kong sampalin ng pera yung lalake at sabihin na anong magagawa ko kung madami akong pera at gusto ko magbakasyon. She asked, do you work? I said no. Where do you get your money,so i answered her. At sabi ko, ayun kasama ko. Hinihintay ako ng friend ko. Tapos biglang sabi nung guy, ah may kasama ba sige ok ka na. Bw*set lang! At the first place nung papunta pa lang ako sa kanya, kasabay ko na yung friend at pinaatras nya lang ako and sabi one at a time so dapat common sense na magkakilala kami. Anyway funny thing pa, yung guy na nagpatigil sakin nakita ko sa national geographic ch. sya din yung nagpa stop ng pinoy dun, akala nya illegal naman ginagawa. kinda muka syang bi. never nako pipila sa kanya ulit. ***grrrrr!!! sarap sampalin ng pera ang mga attitude ng mga BI! I hate discrimination even in minuscule amount. Ganyan rin sa DMIA, I was almost tempted whipping my old filled passport to show in his fezz that Im just on leisure travel.
