ang galing naman ng mga sis dito @sis mistiqshannen pano mo nagawa yung balloon flower na five yung petals nya.... nagttry ako gumawa non nagkakalas pag ginagawa kong 5 hanggang 4 lang ako LOL! wala kasing gumawaga ng balloons dito kaya ever practice ako gumawa ng mga balloon decors for my little one's party.  TIA!

sis yun petals tali mo lang yun dalawa balloons then gawa ka uli tali mo nalang 3 sila. tapos pagsamahin mo na yun 5 balloons and make 5 petals flower. dapat din magkapareho kasi ang size kasi kakalas yun pag magkakaiba

I only finish 9 pages of the album pa. 20 pages yun standard when ipapaprint.

wow! saya makakita ng DIY! Nakakainspire. My son's birthday is three months away, balak namin ni Hubby i-DIY lahat ng pwedeng i-DIY para labor of love talaga. Hehe! Nainspire ako ng sobra!

^Masayang mahirap sis.  After my baby's 1st birthday, I felt fulfilled kasi ang ganda raw.  Pero days into it, para akong susuko.

for DIY parties, ilang months ang preparation stage?

chiqmom, depende sis pero ako 6 months nag sisimula nako. Like now august palang party ng mga babies ko pero im starting the planning na like naghahanap nako ng gusto ko design na cake, ano gagawin ko sa mga candy buffet, if pano gagawin, nagcacanvass nako ng caterers, tents, performer tipong visualize ko na yun buong party. GUmawa talaga ako ng checklist and naglalayout nako ng invitation, mga tags and guestbook pa isa isa.  Yun sa 1st birthday ng baby ko super madami ako DIY I even learned how to decorate balloons ngayon business na hehe.. 6 months din lagi ako nagsisimula.

Then by march pupunta ako ng subic so syempre duty free ako dun hahaha since me idea nako for what i want sa candy bar yun i can buy candies na pwede itago for the party.. me theme na nga ako since last yr pa e hehe..

Adik ba? i dont want like kasi magcramming. Kasi nakakastress yun lalo na pag malapit na ang party imbes na maganda ka losyang kana sa stress.

Theme: Minnie Mouse

Lootbags - polka dot drawstring lootbags sewn by MIL, Mickey head lootbag tags by yours truly (yaya helped on cutting --sumakit na kasi kamay ko LOL)

Photo wall gallery - photos of baby from 1st month to 12th month, my brother helped me on sticking the photos on the illustration board lol

Table centerpiece - Minnie mouse head made of styro balls w/ ribbon on a flower topiary (me, hubby and my brother)

Invitations - photoshopped (layout) by me, printed by Photoline

nametags - layout by me printed on sticker papers, cut by hubby

Sa June first bday ng baby boy ko at dun sa zamboanga gagawin pero now palang eh nag-iisip na ako kung anong theme. So gagawin ko eh sa Divi ako buy ng mga party stuff tapos papacargo ko nalang dun..mas tipid hehe...

Hi, done with my son's 4th bday party at Max's. Theme: fireman. Did not get their package kasi Cars and Princess yung themes nila. Only paid for the food to avail of the room. Kaya lang, we got the smaller room so di namin nagawa yung ibang fire brigade games.

So sad, not much detailed pictures.. we left the battery of our camera at home and when my hubby arrived, the party is about to start so no time to take shots of the details I didn't get photo service kasi, I thought we can manage it on our own. lesson learned: can't really master all.

Even the fire truck cake, was supposed to do it pero di ko natapos, so last minute. I just bought from red ribbon a simple cake. Also forgot the cupcake tower i bought from Chocolate lovers so we just arranged the cupcakes on the dessert table.

Host: Programme was done as brigade training so the host acted as Fire marshal, complete with fireman hat and whistle. Kids games were also patterned for fireman. I provided all the materials for the games. Only paid for the host at Max's (1500+500 tip)

Overall that simple 4th bday of my son was a blast, attended by relatives and close friends only. Since I'm too much craving for more pictures, I again organized a part II pool party with his cousins lang just to execute further the f*** theme (wala kasi akong magawa e hehe). And being a newbie in baking, I just love to do a fire truck cake the 2nd time around, this time 2D na lang kasi madalian. Here are some pics:

I DIY'd the party invitations and the other printables for my daughter's birthday yesterday. I bought a monkey graphic I liked online (it was on sale for $2.50, so P125 lang) and used that for the invitations, name tags, and lootbag thank you tags. I even sent the graphic to our photobooth supplier para magamit niya rin sa print layout ng pictures, so sulit talaga yung P125 ko.

I originally designed it to be 4x6 para tamang tama na 4R ang size. And then I realized ang hirap pala maghanap ng photo envelopes, and I didn't want the envelope to be too big for the invite, so I decreased the height a little para when they print it on 4R photo paper, babawasan na lang ng 1 inch sa taas. I had the invites printed at Photoline using their silk paper. Cost is P7 each at sila na rin ang nag-crop nung finished invites.

For the name tags, I used the same yellow background and monkey graphic and just added text sa taas. There are 4 different designs. I printed these on A4-sized sticker paper using a regular inkjet printer, tapos ginupit namin ng brother ko.

I also created stickers for the loot bags, using orange for the border kasi yellow yung loot bags ko. I didn't use the monkey head this time kasi I wanted to use the phrase "hanging out", so dapat nakabitin yung monkey. Lol.

My brother and I also DIY'd the backdrop--I came up with the concept and he executed everything. I'll post again once I have pictures.

Sobrang laki ba ang tipid pag DIY?

I would say yes. Kami lang gumawa ng backdrop nung party ng daughter ko, and it turned out really well. We spent around P700 lang for that (crepe paper backdrop, styrofoam for the name, Japanese lanterns). For the invitation, I spent P125 on clipart, P280 on printing (P7 each for 40 invitations), and around P80 on envelopes so around P500 lang. Name tags and gift bag tags, P40 lang since I only spent on sticker paper.

Ang advantage ko naman is I have my brother to help out. If you have time, I suggest DIY as much as you can.

^^personally depende. If sanay ka mag-DIY and you know what you're doing and alam mong mag tantya ng supplies, yes tipid siya. But if you will do some trial runs/samples, Baka mas mapapagastos ka because of all the trial and errors...lalo na for balloon decors. Then you have to factor in yung time spent. Tip on DIY...never print using your own printer. Magastos sa ink and it's not exactly cheap. Better to have it printed outside.
