sa mga sis na may DIY projects nuung nagbirthday ang kids nila.. papost naman ng mga pics

and paki share naman yung experiences niyo.. like, kung saan kayo kumuha na materials, ano-ano yung disadvantages.. etc..

Hi here's mine naman. That was 1 yr ago pa. During Briel's first birthday.

1. I had difficulty in finding sesame streets items in divi even loot bags kaya i made my own loot bags. Though the contents were halo halo characters na of school supplies from divi. Now even red ribbon has its sesame street theme cake waaa..

materials used: cartolina of different colors. 3 loot bags in 1 cartolina. syempre photos of sesame streets printed from Kodak and some scrapbook materials. Ribbons from carolinas.

it was supposed to be a loot bags from prizes e kaso mas maganda yan kesa sa elmo plactic loot bags i bought kaya exchange hehe..

2. Guest sheets. I have kasi scrapbook bought so I decided instead of having a guestbook nga nagprint nalang ako sa isang computer shop near SM manila at 20 pesos for A4 size paper. 10 sheets sya.

photoshop lang ginamit ko. ang buy nalang good pen for photos sa NBS.

3. table centerpiece.
I hired kasi balloon decorator kasi di na kaya ng powers ko yun effort on the event day pero yun sa mga tables ako gumawa. mahal kasi isa nito nasa 180 daw that time.

wala naman disadvantage e. basta me time ka to prepare it. advatange natutu kami mag balloon decor ayun plan na ibusiness later.

puro DIY kasi plano ko sa 1st birthday ng baby ko.. 3 months to go pa pero nagtitingin tingin na ako ng mga pwede i-DIY

DIY din ako on my sons 1st birthday last year. It's Kung fu panda and chinese theme:

- loot bags made of chinese food box.
- Cake design and lay-out by me .

- I also made the design and lay-out of the souvenirs.
- Chinese lanterns made of cartolina.

- My first ever balloon arch.

- I also made the deign and lay-out of the invitaion.
- AVP of Aidan's growth from birth to 1 year. I made it myself and super proud ako kasi almost 6 months kong pinaghirapan yun and ang daming doog feedback/s after the party.

@rianne_mallows, ilang months ko din ginawa mga yan.. tyagaan lang.. iba naman kasi feeling kapag naaccomplish mo hehe..

ngayon august uli 2nd birthday n briel at 1st birthday ng pamangking ko august 28 kami sa jollibee naman this time di na masyado magastos. 15k lang budget namin magkapatid hehe.. so for 50 pax na yun.. ang inuumpisahan ko DIY uli is guestbook ni pamangkin. This time ibond ko na sya pero DIY din. Yun balloons DIY na kami na magdecor. unti lang kasi yun balloons at maliit lang yun..

eto naman mga plans ko gawin sa balloons: mas mabilis kasi iset up to compare sa ibang designs. limited kasi yun set up time. for ceiling naman usual balloonderitas and balloonburst

just want to share my pamangkin's 1st bday, kami lang ng sister ko ang nagset up lahat ng decor, the candy and dessert buffet, and then ordered Hawaiian food since sa Hawaii siya nagcelebrate ng bday niya

my daughter's 2nd bday is coming up na din and since sa States gagawin, I will be doing most of the work like planning, pagbili at pagorder ng supplies etc, we'll be having a Hello Kitty theme for her kasi madaling hanapin. I found someone na din who will make a custom made birthday, name and photo banner and syempre andiyan naman ang Party City, lahat halos ng kailangan for a party meron sila

PartyTime Philippines did my daughter's 1st bday last year and sobrang stress free talaga from the planning to the actual day na, sana this time hindi masyadong stressful goodluck talaga sa akin and sa lahat ng DIY mommies:)

just sharing. the diy i made on my daughter's 5th bday. ( not all pictures were uploaded)

theme is ice cream social.

diy are: 3d popsicle invites, pinata, princess ice cream cake, cupcakes in ice cream cones, and the balloons.

activities: decorate your own ice cream (not in the picture).

^iron transfer sheets. you can get them from national bookstore and office warehouse. make your layout on your computer. then print them on the transfer sheets using an ink jet printer.

yes i think so. i've washed my daughter's apron several times and maganda pa naman ang print til now.

ang galing naman ng mga sis dito @sis mistiqshannen pano mo nagawa yung balloon flower na five yung petals nya.... nagttry ako gumawa non nagkakalas pag ginagawa kong 5 hanggang 4 lang ako LOL! wala kasing gumawaga ng balloons dito kaya ever practice ako gumawa ng mga balloon decors for my little one's party. TIA!
