sky_butterfly17, that's nice to hear! Accidents do happen, be more careful na lang next time... wag mo masyadong i-blame sarili mo :)

^Hehe, talaga sis? Alam ko sis sis twelfth_goddess, Zoe din ang baby niya.  Di ko pa nadi-discover sino yung isa hehe :)

Bakit di ka pag nag-cloth nappy sis?  Sayang naman yan, hindi mo mama-maximise, after a while, time for toilet training na, di mo na siya magagamit :) Go go go na!

^ one if jazz's (cloudckean) twins is also named zoe.

Oo nga, i said i'd start using them when my was baby was about 3 months. Ayan, 8 months na siya. Sana talaga sooner rather than later magamit ko na.

K just fell of the bed lang din last night.:( buti na lang last week nilagyan ko na ng puzzle mat yung floor sa paanan ng bed where she fell. i was preparing her clothes kasi so she can take her shower. ayun, sa bilis kumilos. nahulog siya. she kept on crying for a few minutes. when she stopped crying, i tried to check her legs and arms, okay naman. now naiisip ko lang, buti talaga nakapag-lagay nako ng mat sa floor. just like what maui said, accidents do happen and the least we can do is to make baby's surroundings "accident-friendly." if there's such a word..

^^Sis sky, don't use alcohol kasi sinusubo nila yun. Soak the toys in hot water with vinegar - all you need is 1 tbsp for every half-liter of water. Then air dry. You can also use mouthwash pero mas magastos pa yun at chemical din so vinehar na lang.

For soft toys or plushies, I put them inside a pillowcase, tie it shut then throw in the washing machine with baby's clothes. Then hang to dry in the sun para siguradong tuyo hanggang loob. I do this even for toys that say Surface Wash only, buhay pa naman lahat ngayon kahit yung may mga tumutunog sa loob :) Nung nakaraan nga may nalabhan ako may battery pala ayun pumipiyok-piyok ang kanta niya pero nung natuyo, back to normal :)

^thank's sa tips sis. :) buti tumunog pa yung de battery na toy. hehe. dilemma ko yung mga stuff toys. especially the big ones. i don't put them on display kasi maalikabukan lang. pwede kaya yun pa dry clean?

We brush the outside (as in old toothbrush) with soap and water then banlaw banlaw konti but don't immerse in water.  Hang to dry under the sun.  Kung medyo maliit at mukhang kakayanin matuyo, puede mong ilubog sa tubig.  Kung may dryer kayo baka puede rin hehe.  Come to think of it, baka puede rin yung method ko for soft toys -- put inside a pillow case and wash?  Kasi di ba halos tuyo na yun paglabas ng washing machine, so siguro 1 full day of sun, tuyo na siya?  Wala pa akong pag-experimentan eh kasi di pa namin nilalabas lahat ng stuffies ni baby :)

wala kami masyadong stuffed toya pero normally pinapalabhan ko lang mano mano ke HH. re toys with battery, punas with cradle cleaner yung spray.

i agree accidents really happen.. good thing OK ang mga babies.. lagi inuulit ulit sakin ng hubby ko safest place pa rin is crib pero lately parang kaya na ni V i-topple ang crib and she can lift her one leg at pinapatong sa railings ng crib.. scary! parang tatalon palabas ng crib..

hi sa mga new mommies!

im jai, mom of V, 13-mo old baby girl :)

speaking of toys, i dont leave toys inside my baby's crib kung walang nagbabantay kay baby... ginagawa niyang patungan to get out of the crib... nasa stage na rin siya kasi na lahat sinusubo... and he enjoys dropping things, lalo na pag nakikita niyang pinupulot mo yung hinuhulog niya.

i dont put pillows inside na rin, kasi ginagawa niyang ladder... naloka ako nung makita ko baby ko na nakapatong sa pillow tapos halos yung legs niya ay lalabas na over the crib...

he's 1 year and a month now... kaya mega alert ako... haaayst!

P.S.
My son is so pawisin, sobrang likot at his age... i heard about "papel towel" kaso i forget the thread na... a mom uses it for his son and its so effective daw compare sa lampin or cloth lang... anybody knows about it?

hi sisters!  sobrang toxic, di na ako nakakadaan sa gt especially since school has started..

hello to our new mommies here! i'm grace, mom to a toddler, grade schooler and a high schooler.

as for stuffed toys, tinuruan ako na ipasok sa dryer and fluff it without heat. ginagawa na namin 'to

ganun din baby ko. at 13 months, kahit nasa crib pag may pillow or toy, ginagawa nyang patungan. and yes pinapatong din yung one leg sa railing.  :o nasa age na talaga sila na mahilig mag explore. kaya sabi ko sa yaya nya na as much as possible wag iiwanang mag isa.

sis baisanan sana maging okay kid mo.

^hi ana mimi, what's ur name? Congrats on giving birth. :)

happyfemme, i remember my MIL used to put soft cardboard sa unan or sometimes dyaryo kasi super pawisin ulo ng kids ko (she used to do that with my panganay nung baby pa). A friend of mine naman puts paper towel sa likod ng anak nya.
