ang bagal na umusad ng thread. haha.

we went to my sister's house yesterday for fathers day lunch. at dahil ang layo kasi sa fairview, si b hindi makatagal sa carseat ng ganon! ang traffic pa naman sa edsa. when we got to the commonwealth area, she was getting cranky na, ayaw naman magdede so i carried her on my lap the rest of the way. next time dapat talaga we stop midway.

hubby and i had dinner at lolo dads brasserie on saturday night. steak all you can. yummy! i finished three slices of wagyu plus the sampler. and i had 2 servings of their mushroom risotto. super sulit for 1200+. we will definitely go back.

Holiday pala today. Can't feel it cus I have work later

How was your Father's Day celeb yesterday?

We had a super long day yesterday. Had lunch at Eastwood with Dan and Zoe then dinner with Dan's family minus Zoe. It was too late na kase ang gulo ng plans nila at first so we had to leave Zoe home na kase mahihirapan na naman sya mag-sleep pag nalipasan sya ng sleep time nya. Felt bad though na she didn't get to see her dad's relatives kase bihira na nga lang yung time. Anyway, [textspeak!]'s birthday is coming up naman soon. Yesterday din, Dan got me a car. Was soooo happy. 2nd hand lang naman but it's in its top condition and sobrang happy lang ako na hinde na ko magccab or magmumokmok na wala ko car hehe. Dapat ako ang nagbigay ng gift kay hubby but it was the other way around. He was so happy to see me happy

Uy, I know na-discuss na before yung car seats on the previous threads but I totally forgot what the discussion was about. Eh yesterday kase we were looking at car seats sa Toytown eastwood and nagpa-demo si hubby ng Graco na car seat but I found it too expensive at 17k. Which car seat brands kaya can I get na below 10k lang pero ok naman? We put Zoe on the Graco car seat yesterday and she was comfy na she fell asleep during the demo! Kaloka! I was contemplating on getting it na yesterday pero sabe ni Dan tingin daw muna ng iba.

Van, yes, super sulit. nabasa ko sa previous thread na si dan naka-8 servings sa max's? mas malakas siya kumain kay hubby, pero buti di siya mataba tulad ni hubby, na naka 6 lang sa max's dati. mas masusulit siguro ni dan!

our carseat is reversible, rear-facing si baby from birth up to 13kg, front-facing at 9kg onwards. di ko nga sure bakit overlapping ang weight restrictions eh pero maybe height needs to be considered din. now kasi b is only 7.4kg so rear-facing pa siya (only gained 200g the past month ) but she's 70cm. medyo najka-fold na her legs, di na niya ma-stretch fully.

we got the chicco proxima for 11k less 10% so pasok sa budget mo na less than 10k.

sa mothercare, they have reversible carseats also na house brand. yung seville model like nung kay marcia, last time i checked nasa mga 8k. di ko binili kasi pink and i wanted black. you may want to check it out din. they have britax there also, very good brand din, 12k naman when i checked.

ang sweet naman ni hubby, got you a car. kailangan mag-seminar ang asawa ko sa mga asawa ninyo!

Van, sweet nga ni hubby at ikaw pa ang binigyan ng gift on father's day

We celebrated father's day at the hospital last week nga kasi (wednesday) on-off lagnat ni B, thurs-sat ok naman sya pero bumaba milk intake so ok na din since teething pero sunday- colds & cough tapos vomitted 3x kaya dinala na namin ER. Buti pinauwi naman kami... madami syang meds to take & under observation, hopefully hindi na siya lagnatin this week else for blood exam siya hayyy kawawa at hirap talaga pag unwell ang kiddo

Lisa - sobrang lakas kumain ni Dan kaya pag nagbu-buffet kame, I always say na nalulugi ang resto sa kanya. Malakas sya sa rice lalo pero I guess mabilis talaga metabolism nya. Yung sa Max's na-sad pa sya non kase hinde daw nya nalampasan ang record nya last year kaloka hahaha. Will check Mothercare and Rustan's this weekend pero check ko din sa SM department store kung ano meron. Nice nung Chicco and reasonable ang price ah.

Maui - Onga na-guilty ako kase wala man lang ako gift sa kanya. Eh actually last week pa namin pinag-usapan yung sa car kase nahihirapan ako pumasok ngayon dahil hinde ko madala yung manual car nya. How's B na?  Hirap pag may sakit ang baby talaga, especially kase hinde pa naman nila masabe kung ano masakit I hope she gets well soon.

Van, we were also in Eastwood yesterday. We had lunch at Ramen Bar, then we went to the bookstore and Starbucks.

Oh, we left around 3 pm.  Sa Starbucks near the cinemas sa mall kami around 2 pm.

Grayce, nakakita ako ng rock salt sa fairprice.. pero organic??? susme.. pati salt kelangan organic? ayaw ko nga.. ang mahal.. $5 plus.. hindi sulit..

Yes ate ganon nga.. pero wag masyadong kuskos kasi madadamage ang bottles and teats.. just enough effort lang para madaanan sila..

Van, ang hirap naman ng hindi well lit ang venue.. baka hindi maging maganda ang video.. if that's the case, in-house na lang kaysa sa masayang.. you might want to check with John A kung pwede nya puntahan ang venue.. check nya kung kakayanin ng camera nya.. huwaaaw! congratulations sa new car mo!!!

Lisa, pahirapan talaga iyang carseat.. swerte ng mga kids na nasanay.. swerte din ang mga moms kasi less stress..

MauiG, nako nagkasakit pala si B? ang sigla sigla pa nya sa playground nung saturday.. baka nabinat.. but i guess pareho sila ni kyle pag nagiipin.. ganyan symptoms ni kyle noon..

Yesterday, after attending the mass (na suot ng girls ang matching i <3 dad shirts hehe), we visited F-I-L sa garden (columbary) then lunch sa Cerchio...first time namin sa Cerchio, may nasubo si SIL na piece of small hard plastic from her food, buti di nya nalunok, maselan pa naman si SIL ko ngayon. we told the waiter..nagsorry naman and they gave us complimentary desserts. Sister company ba cerchio and romulo's, i personally think mas attentive ang waiters and staff sa cerchio.

Then dinner time naman, with my side of the family naman sa Dusit Thani buffet, hindi ako prepared magbuffet lol kasi busog pa ko from the lunch. Nakatulog pa si S2 sa sling, kaya ayun feeling ko di ko nasulit or naenjoy hehe kasi i just ask hubby to get food for me di ako makatayo kasi hehe..pero solve pa din naman.

Pia, masyadong malayo kasi paranaque to fairview. haha. tapos ang traffic pa sa edsa kahapon. kasi usually naman pag house to makati or fort lang, or even sa house ng parents ko dati sa may banawe, hindi naman siya naiinip ng ganon. as much as possible pa naman sana, ayaw ko talaga siya tanggalin sa car seat.

Hi Jazz! ang sarap ng twins! may instant playmate ang isa't isa.. am sure nakakatuwa na ang stage nila ngayon kasi mas meron na interaction..

Sam, yes, related ang Cerchio at Romulo Cafe.  Baligtad naman ako.  I've dined at Cerchio but not at Romulo.  Mabuti na lang at napansin agad ang piece of plastic.  Non-biodegradable pa naman yun.

Jazz, ang cute naman, twin girls!  I have twin boys.  And yes, nakakaaliw at special ang bonding ng twins.  Deeper than the bond of siblings.
