Hi sissies, may question lang po ako:

Yung wedding ring po kase namin mag asawa hindi na kasya sakin

... eh ngayon balak po sana namin ni hubby bumili wedding or partner rings para may suot pa rin ako... okay kaya yun? I mean advisable kaya yun?

for us, we wanted a new one kc maliit nga and outdated na [textspeak!] style.. maybe on our 10th anniversary, we will get married again and get a new ring!!

^ ok lang yan sis, kami nga ni hubby nakakatatlo na ng wedding rings in our 12 years of marriage pero isa lang dun yung talagang ginamit nung kasal namin gold kasi yun kaya we bought naman yung silver lang to compliment daw sa watch..ang latest namin ngayon two-toned na para kahit ano na watch suot ok hehe...

I think it's okay to buy a new set of rings if okay naman sa budget, para maiba na rin 'yung style. Okay din to have it re-sized para sa sentimental value ng ring

If you're looking for a good jewelry maker, I would suggest Jewelry by Franco. They made our two-toned wedding ring. Kahit na almost four months pa lang kami married ni hubby, I would say maganda and sparkly pa rin ang ring ko. And to think na everyday ko siya suot.

1CHOI, the wedding ring represents the bond between you and your husband. It is not just an item to mark a milestone (your wedding date). Kaya nga kahit na gigil na sometimes kay husband, sige, wear it pa rin....or, lol, it reminds us to not commit murder. lol

Kidding aside, go ahead, get one for yourself, hubby too if he needs one, or you both want partner rings -- actually, we Pinoys are kinda hung up on matching wedding rings.

Parang may significant date pa rin yang new rings, Use these when you renew your vows... you do not need to wait for say 5 years, 10 years or 25 years.... technically, you can renew it annually in front of a priest, or your pastor... and you do not need to throw a big party for it ... just the 2 of you is more than meaningful enough.

I lost my wedding ring, I asked my husband to buy me a new one because ours looked like generic wedding rings. Instead of buying me a new one, pinatunaw nya yung ring nya kasi daw yun yung may blessing ng pari tapos dinagdagan ng ginto to make a pair of wedding rings.

Me, I wear two rings now - but I don't wear our original wedding ring. At the time na "bina-ul" ko yun, it triggered in me so many traumatic memories.

My hubby got us a set of tri-color wedding rings, we had it blessed by our parish priest, telling him nawala ang original na wedding ring namin. That is one of the two rings I wear. The second ring I wear is a platinum one with four diamonds - he too has one like that - that we put on each other's fingers when we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary years ago.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I will get to wear a third one - when we celebrate our golden wedding anniversary? We are now married 35 years! 15 years more to go. We will be both 72 by then.

its been years since i last wore my wedding ring. kitchen-related kasi ang work ko so hassle din for me kung i need to take it off pag nasa kitchen na ako. medyo burara pa naman ako so baka ma-misplaced pa. im not even sure kung kasya pa sa akin yung ring ko eh, i gained weight pa naman kasi hehe.

hubs wears his tho. walang palya yun. medyo malaki na nga sa kaya pero he still wears it all the time.

nakalimutan ko po un name nun binilhan namin ng rings ni husband before eh, hanapin ko po un resibo namin tapos send ko sayo un details...

pero sa ongpin po, naku dami talaga shops na nagsesell ng wedding rings, nagcucustom made etc, un nga lang, may mga fakers talaga,.. sasabihin, 10K un pala hindi..

Pero syempre yung unang pair ninyo, yun ang pinaka importante at nakatago. Puede rin ninyo isurprise si hubby by buying a 2nd pair for your anniversary or something.

Sa babae, tingin ko, importante ang wedding ring kasi somehow you want to show the world that you are married and wanted by someone. Sa pov ko lang. Sa lalaki, importante ang wedding ring para off limits na sya sa mga lumalandi sa kanya.

Kaya in both instances, kapag masikip na ang wedding ring, outdated or whatever reason kung bakit hindi na masuot ang wedding ring, importante pa sana na magsuot ng wedding ring ang mga may asawa na.

However, hindi nasusukat sa pagsuot ng wedding ring ang pagsasama ng couples. Sometimes may mga couples na masaya talaga, kahit hindi sila magsuot ng wedding ring, since they fully trust each other, no issues. At may mga couples naman na kahit ilang wedding rings pa ang suotin, kung magloloko si lalaki, magloloko talaga.

Am not wearing my original wedding ring kasi masyadong malambot kaya we bought another one ni hubby na pedeng pang-araw araw na hindi din takaw mata sa magnanakaw.Nice yung idea ng 3rd wedding ring,hopefully I'll get one on our renewal of vows on 2015
