No. Maybe I'll still care pero yung love wag na, ilaan or igive ko na lang sa ibang mas deserving yung pagmamahal ko. Why make your life miserable and unhappy by loving someone who can't love you back?!

easier said than done. I am engaged. preparing for the BIG day next year. until someone came. i fell. hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko ngayon. to continue the wedding, go with the flow, or piliin yung isa.

^ Sis teambdc this is not to judge you at all, gusto ko lang tanungin on why are you having second thoughts about your commitment to your fiance? Is it only because of this guy?

Unsolicited advice here, if you call off an engagement make sure it's the "best" thing to do in your existing relationship not because a "better" person came along. Find the real reason in you on why are you are doubting. Is the love not enough?

Sabi nga ng sister ko nuon sakin that if I have atleast 1% doubt in my decision to enter marriage , please wag ako magpakasal! Pagsisihan ko lang daw yun.

Back on topic, kung nung bata bata pako YES malamang ang sagot ko.pero ngayong mid 30's nako, hell NO! sayang ang oras. kung gagawin ko yan baka matagalan bago ako magka pamilya.

Yes. Been there and I did it for almost 10 years of my life. But hey, I've moved on. I like seeing him being fine, happy and successful in life and career.

Sana dumating na rin ako sa ganitong point na I will be happy seeing him happy.. right now kasi as much as possible ayoko sya makita..kaso no choice lagi ko sya nakikita.. I hope someday... I know someday makakamove on din ako.

I found my ideal man as in god! LAHAT ng gusto ko nasa kanya na talaga! He could be the perfect husband, father, friend, etc.

But I'm just a friend for him so after a couple of years I decided to move on.. I realized I deserved to be happy. Later then, I met my husband and I have never (and will never) loved anyone quite like I do him :)

I can relate to this thread. He is single but "hoping" sa ex niya. But since I love myself more than anyone else, ako na ang lumayo, kahit ang ibig sabihin nun e FO.. (friendship over) mahirap kasi nasanay akong kausap siya lagi, pero mas mahirap yung arw araw kang aasa sa wala. And none of us deserves that kind of feeling :D unless with OUR permission.

More than a year na and I think I'm getting there na sa moved on stage.. hehe.. 😂

My head says no, but my heart says otherwise. I kept my distance, even said goodbye. But how can I teach my heart from forgetting and unloving the person if we both work at the same company and members of the same team. I'm contemplating on giving up my job to allow myself to forget and move on. Everyday that I go to work, I need to wear a mask and pretend that I no longer care. That the feelings I once had is already gone and I am reverted into a loyal friend again. Everyday is a dilemma, a torture to my sanity. I want to leave, but a part of me wants to stay and endure the pain of loving someone who will never be mine :'(

How are you sis? I'm in the same dilemma. And now I'm hurting more cause I can see him so happy with someone. Yes, of course I am happy to see him smile like that. Pero tao lang. Nasasaktan pa din talaga ako. Masakit na I can't be the one who can make him smile like that.

I did and it was very painful knowing that there is no future to look forward, knowing that someday he will eventually leave and when that they came it felt like hell.

I'll just face the fact na we're not meant to be, ako na rin ang lumayo, kasi hindi naman siya titigil eh, so ako na lang. 😀

It will depend on the circumstances, I guess.

It's easier to shut things off and move on if the feelings are one-sided, or if nothing beyond platonic has occurred yet between the two of you, e.g. friend-zoned ka, hindi na available si guy, or he loves/is pining for someone else.

It's much more difficult when the two of you know you love each other, if there had actually been a deep connection, wala lang talagang patutunguhan. Could be wrong timing, personal circumstances, etc.

What's important is that, despite your emotions, you do what is right. Minsan kahit anong pigil mo sa sarili mo, you can't help how you feel. Even the most sensible person I know, kahit anong iwas sa ganitong sitwasyon, nangyayari pa rin. However, one can control how to act on those feelings.

In my case, yup, I will. Love as an emotion is different from love as a verb. Someone whom you care about will never be completely out of your system. There will always be something left over. I found out that what's important is acceptance that such love does exist within me and that nothing further will happen, and I have to protect myself, move on, and thrive without him. Loving is also a conscious choice.  ;)

For me? No. Ganyan na ganyan yung situation ko ngayon e. Ang daming "What ifs", puro "Pano kung mahal niya pala ako?" "Pano kung may chance pala kami?" Puro ganyan. Kaya ayun, one time nauntog ata ako di ko na siya nirereplyan kahit anong chat nya. I've had enough at alam ko worth ko. Don't settle for less please.
