ito lunch namin kanina. cebu lechon manok ang sa kin plus leche flan. yung chicken, kaamoy ng sr pedro pero mas malasa si sr pedro. di ko to gaano nagustuhan.
yung leche flan naman, pagbukas ko ng styro, amoy sibuyas yung na pinagbalutan(padeliver lang kasi to). buti na lang di humawa sa leche flan ang lasang sibuyas. di ko din gaanong nagustuhan kasi mas lasang sago gulaman.

yung officemate ko umorder ng lechon sisig. matabang daw. ang ok lang na feedback na nakuha ko is yung sa cebu lechon liempo.

I've seen this months ago at Jupiter. And I saw it again at UN Ave. My colleagues and I tried it out one time. curious kami kasi bago and parang ok ang ambiance. It's budget-friendly pala and the liempo is good! Now that it's getting popular, queues are getting longer. Brought my hubby for lunch at jupiter last sun instead of tempura, and the place is full of families! siguro coming from bel air vill, judging from their stature and the parked cars outside (though of course these can be deceiving). we even had a hard time getting a parking space. yet to try the chicken inasal though. but i love their kangkong with garlic!

had dinner here last night with my family sa may roxas boulevard branch. nag enjoy naman mga kasama ko. mura na daw masarap pa. we also had my favorite leche plan for dessert, kaya nasatisfy ang cravings ko.

We were so disappointed with the customer service at Chic Boy-Timog Avenue Branch. We were there at lunchtime yesterday for the birthday celebration of my mom-in-law and we had a long table reserved for us. To our disappointment, it took almost 1.5 hours bago na-serve yung food namin. It took us several follow-up and my husband had to literally stand-by in the area/kitchen where the orders are being brought out just to make sure that we get our orders (hubby is the coolest person I know pero yesterday he got mad talaga with the slowness/deadma of the service). We had senior citizens and kids with us and all of them were already hungry and impatient so imagine the stress. It was supposed to be a happy occasion  and we even had our relatives come over to QC (prior to this, we keep telling them how good the food is, how my MIL came to love Chic Boy the reason why we chose to celebrate her bday there, etc) but it turned out otherwise. Napahiya tuloy kami sa guests namin. Some viands pa were even served at the same time the dessert was served so we ended up taking them home na lang. On our way out, one of the waitresses who really noticed our disappointment came up to me and said "Ma'am sorry po, wag po kayo madadala...." Well, I bluntly told her that with what has happened, nadala na talaga kami 

Sorry if medyo mahaba, disappointed lang talaga kami sa service. Sana they could do something about it considering dami pa naman nilang patrons.

enjoy din kame sa chic boy ng mga ka officemate ko, twice a week dito kame nagdidinner. favorite namen lechon cebu nila. sulit na sulit samen dito lalo na sa mahilig sa rice all you can.

tapat sis ng world trade center sa baba ng pier 1.

^actually sis same sentiment tayo pagdating sa service nila. medyo mabagal talaga. nakailang tawag ka na para mag pa refill ng rice at ice tea deadma lang sila. last time nga malamig na iyong talong na inorder ng brother ko bago naiserve. it means matagal na siyang naluto di lang na serve agad ng mga dine in crew nila na di mo malaman kung nasan laging nawawala pag hinahanap mo. kung di ko lang talaga gusto food dun di na ko kakain ulit dun dahil sa pangit ng service.

i love the food! Hindi ko ito pinapansin dati then nag uwi minsan si hubby ayun i'm not sure kung gutom lang ako nun

makakapag-chic-boy na ako mamaya! open na yung harrison plaza branch. naunahan pa ako ng nanay ko na taga-olongapo. nakakain na siya somewhere in mandaluyong nung weekend. sobrang alat daw... hahaha!

^^ yup, i agree with your mom- food is salty. sa sta mesa branch kami nag-dine.

^in-explain ko naman sa kanya na ganun ang timpla ng cebu lechon. eh ganun talaga siya, laging may comment. masarap kasi siya magluto. pero gusto ko pa rin ma-try ang chic-boy.

blockbuster ang lunch crowd sa harrison plaza branch! ang laki-laki na nga ng space nila (equivalent to 2 or 3 restaurant spaces) pero hindi pa rin magkasya ang dami ng tao. i was able to finish ordering at 12:48 pm, and my cebu lechon liempo meal arrived 27 minutes later. swerte pa pala ako dahil yung sa katabing table ko, 40 minutes na raw sila naghihintay. and the thing was, they were just on a lunch break from their offices kaya talaga namang worried na worried na sila. anyway, i was given a bowl of house soup (broth) 5 minutes after i was seated kaya hindi naman ako nag-reklamo. my dessert and kangkong came next, about 15 minutes ahead of the main dish. nakausap ko yung may-ari at very apologetic naman siya sa sobrang bagal ng service. hindi raw kasi nila na-anticipate yung ganun kalaking volume ng mga tao. kung sabagay, they just opened last week. they're still adjusting. sana naman ay magawaan nila ng solusyon yung sobrang tagal ng pagluluto nila.

what i had:

cebu lechon liempo - for just P99, the serving is really big. mapaparami ka talaga ng kain ng kanin. malambot at malasa yung liempo, hindi sobrang alat. tama lang ang timpla.

ginisang kangkong sa bawang - paborito ko ang kangkong. gustong-gusto ko dahil maraming bawang. medyo nasobrahan sa alat pero masarap pa rin with rice.

turones con leche - okay naman, mas masarap siguro kung mainit-init pa.

overall, masarap ang pagkain considering the prices--very affordable. kung hindi ka nagmamadali kagaya ko, pwedeng pagtiyagaan maghintay sa napakatagal na pag-serve ng pagkain.
