I'd like to try out parasailing in phuket. Anyone tried it there? Nakakatakot kasi baka di sila ganun ka-strict sa safety procedures.

Sharing my experience. Spent last summer in Phuket. We stayed in Sea Pearl Villas. 5mins away siya sa mismong city. Un magulong area.

We got all packages from one of the travel agencies there. Style ng taxi is dadaan sandali sa office then saka ka oofferan ng packages ng agency.

In fairness hindi na din masama yung nakuha namin. Stress free.

Day 1: Arrival-Sea Pearl Villas
            Fantasea
Day 2: Phi Phi (5 or 6 Island Tour) by speedboat.
           Seafood Dinner sa city
Day 3: Elephant Trekking and ATV
            Flight back to SG

Nag enjoy naman kami. Nakakaagod lang ang Phi Phi.

Next time try namin isang island lang and no tours.

Hi, around how much kaya ang Siam Naramit Phuket and Fantasea. Alin sa dalawa ang worth it panoorin and mas mura? Ok lang ba sa Phuket na lang bumili ng ticket sa mga travel agency?

I checked hotels2thailand and mas mura ang Siam Naramit Bangkok kesa Phuket kaso wala na kasing time to watch Siam Naramit sa Bangkok kaya sa Phuket na lang manonood.

I went to Phuket end of July, eto yung itinerary namin:

Day 1:  Phuket Trickeye Museum
Day 2:  Fantasea
Day 3:  Phi Phi Island Tour
Day 4:  Swimming, shopping, massage, seafood dinner
Day 5:  Shopping, back to sg


Maulan nung Day 1 and 2 kaya hotel at ikot ikot lang kami around Patong nyan. Ang pinuntahan lang namin yung mga must see lang talaga tulad ng island tour chaka Fantasea. Try nyo yung Trickeye Museum, okay siya sa mga mahilig mag picture. Magdala lang kayo ng extra battery. Naubusan ng battery camera nun eh!

I followed the suggestions here, dun na kami sa Patong nag book ng activities. Nakuha namin ng THB1700 ang Fantasea with buffet and hotel transfer na yun.

Ladies, Kamala or Chalong beach ba is ok lang ba? Gusto ko kasi mag Phuket kaso I'm worried lang na with a toddler, baka mabored naman kami kung nasa loob lang ng hotel... marami kami gusto gawin activities ni hubby and kung pwde kasama si baby, isasama... pero pwde rin maglakad lakad and magexplore lang... kain ng streetfoods

^thanks leelou! I'm so confused san area kami magstay... I know Patong is the busiest but gusto ko rin kasi maglakad lakad and magexplore (food trip!) during the day. No night life for us kasi may toddler nga kami

ok lang ba magstay sa Patong? Hindi ba naririnig ang ingay sa labas once you're inside the room na?

I'm choosing na between 2 hotels, Twinpalms (in Kamala which is 18 mins from Patong) or Regent Phuket Cape Panwa (30 mins from Patong). I'm leaning towards Regent kasi mas type ko yun Seaview villa nila over Twinpalms' Duplex pool villa suite.

We wanted to stay in a quiet area kasi but with nice outdoor pools. BUT gusto ko rin pumunta sa Patong so we can try some restos saka magshop na rin.

next week na yung trip namin and wala pa kaming definite itinerary
still a bit undecided if we'll go fantasea.  sulit ba? we have an 8yo kid. sabi kasi overpriced show lang daw yon. at saka mahal everything doon..  mas ok pa daw mag-siam safari...

any recommended resto for a nice dinner? we'll be celebrating our 10th year anniv there. gusto ko sana makapag-dinner naman sa magandang restaurant.

we decided to stay 3 nights in Grand Mercure Phuket in Patong... I read na bagong hotel palang ito. In fact, the suite I booked, this October palang daw matatapos... perfect timing for our November holiday 5 star hotel pero mura lang.

Tapos plan ko is to transfer to a different hotel on our last 2 nights in Phuket. Twinpalms siguro? Pero for this, di na kami masyado aalis and sa hotel na lang kami magrerelax. Or, stay na lang kami sa Grand Mercure para less hassle.

Edited to add: I'm thinking of doing the Phi Phi island tour but worry ko lang is my toddler. Baka mapagod ng sobra kasi... may half day tour naman so kahit na bitin, baka eto na lang gawin namin. Ayoko naman iwan ang baby ko sa babysitter sa hotel. Di ako matatahimik nun.

So far ang itinerary namin is mainly discovering Patong, trying out the local cuisine and perhaps some street foods and relaxing. I signed my husband up for a Muay Thai and BJJ training class during the week we're in Phuket and I booked Twinpalms' for Sunday Brunch.

Meron na ba dito nakapagbook na sa http://www.phuketshuttle.com/ ? mas mura kasi kung icocompare yung price na sinasabi ng ibang sissies natin dito na nagtaxi lang, mahal daw maningil ang taxi drivers need pa makipagnegotiate. iniisip ko na magbook na dyan ng transfers from 247 hotel to patong then patong to airport on our last day.

Sis oreo08, same here. we also booked Grand Mercure Phuket for our honeymoon on Jan 2015.   actually nagpamember ako sa Accorhotels para mas makadiscount pa hihi ... we booked 4 nights - Superior Room since ito yung puro island hopping/tours kami.. then we will transfer on their Deluxe Pool Access room sa 2nd to the last night namin dun, tapos sa last night namin sa 1 bedroom Pool Villa

Pagdating namin sa phuket since gabi ang dating nmin dun, nagbook na rin ako sa 247 Hotel  (thanks to sis eeatrice ) para tipid & less hassle narin since may free shuttle na sila.

Share ko na rin itong summary ng honeymoon itinerary namin. ^_^

Day 0  Arrival at Phuket Airport
     Check-In 24/7 Hotel

Day 1  Transfer to Patong

^ sis, na-try namin Phuket shuttle last December. pick up from our hotel to airport yung service. ok naman, except na-late lang yung driver ng around 15 minutes. nung tumawag ako sa number nila nakalagay sa website, sabi naman nila on the way na. pick up was supposed to be 8PM yata so at least may tao naman sumasagot ng phone nila. driver was apologetic din naman, courteous and neat pati yung car. i booked a day before lang online and no means of printing the voucher pero when i contacted them, sabi ok lang daw na wala na.

^^we booked the Deluxe Suite naman for 3 nights. Wala pa sya sa website so I had to email them directly... and yun nga, they said kasi ginagawa pa and matatapos ng October

I wanted the Deluxe Pool access rin but since we have a toddler, baka magising when she naps kasi may maingay sa pool area or what not.

Mga sis ngayon nalang ulit kami makapag-travel after I gave birth..

We will be coming from Krabi then Phi Phi and leave Thailand via Phuket.
Baka meron makapag share ng itinerary sa inyo. We're 2 adults plus a toddler (2yrs old).

May masa-suggest ba kayo mga sis na child friendly hotel in Phuket?
