try mo magantay ng sale ng Air Asia sis (LCCT ang airport dito sa KL).  they always offer seat sales papunta don.  Pero the last time kasi na nagpunta kami ng Phuket, MAS ang sinakyan namin during the zero fare.

gusto nga din namin bumalik e, pero malamang sa Krabi na lang naman kami stay.

sis anong difference pag sa Krabi at sa Patong nag-stay? yung Krabi ba hindi sya beach area?

Krabi is another island different from Phuket.  It's a neighboring province actually, pero since wala naman boundary yong dalawa kaya minsan napagkakamalang Krabi is still part of Phuket.

i also wanna go to Phuket, although medyo mahal ang fare...    mga sis, ask ko lang kung may 12 hours stopover ka, pwede ba gumala sa city while waiting for your next trip?

example: from Phuket to Singapore, 12nn ang arrival time and ang next flight to Manila is 12midnight pa, pwede po ba gumala sa Singapore for 8 hours?

^yes pwede. That's what my colleagues did while waiting for our next flight back to pinas from Phuket. Basta make sure lang na di male-late.

^^ you can go to the city and shop. Singapore is just small that you can go around Orchard for 3-4 hours. It's just about 20 minutes away from Changi airport.

Went to Phuket last September but I'm staying from Singapore so it's cheaper for us.  We took Air Asia and looked for good deals on groupon. It was about 20k in pesos for all 3 of us. Hotel breakfast was buffet and it was ok. We just booked our day trip to Khai Island near Patong beach.  It was a good deal because it's half day tour with snacks included, about 1500 Php for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 toddler). We went during off peak and usually it's rainy but we were so lucky because it only rained once during our entire stay (4D3N).

Which is nearer to Phi Phi? Krabi or Phuket?

So, either way ka manggagaling (Krabi or Phuket), same distance lang daw ang layo going to Phi Phi.

hi mga sis i just want to ask, may nabasa kasi ako na you can rent a car/scooter while on phuket para easy transpo nyo and you can roam around as well. anyone who tried renting? how and how much usually?

also, is the beach like boracay? as in white/fine sand and if crowded in patong beach any alternative?

We came from singapore, took a plane to krabi via air asia, then ferry to phi phi.
2 days kami sa phi phi cos we wanted to unwind and enjoy the beach.
We rented a speedboat to phuket. We stayed at millenium hotel. I thought non beachfront parang sa boracay lang. Medyo malayo ng konti and nilakad namin from our hotel. Nice nga in katathani, kaso nung nagbook ako wala nang good rates via agoda. Patong is where the action is, but it is crowded nga, daming tourists... The beachfront is kinda busy parang boracay kapag holyweek. Yung patong beach, much like puerto princesa/ puerto galera in terms of color of sand, but long and wide beachfront and the water is clear. patong was kinda far from the airport. check online for the map of the whole phuket beach so you'll know where to stay.

need to attend a wedding here in july.  not really keen on going back to bangkok after my not-so-nice vacation there 2 years ago.  ok kaya if i go to singapore and then from there go to phuket na lang?  or mas mapapamahal ako?  tia!

just got back from phuket and nag enjoy naman kami, gusto namin bumalik na.. hehe.. sand is as fine as sa Boracay.. Patong is super crowded especially at noon time, parang mga daing na nakabilad mga foreigners, lol.. and may mga naka topless pa din.. we stayed at surin which is a lot less crowded.. yung food masasarap. locals are nice.

^ sa manathai kami nagstay sa surin para less tao.  maganda and ok ang foods.. mababait and hindi mahirap kausap ang staff.. yung room nya parang rooms sa bellarocca ang style..

sa IT, parang eto lang ang trip namin na halos walang IT, wala kase kami talaga plan.. hehe.. first day namin namasyal kami sa patong, sa jungceylon mall at sa mga tinda tindahan don, saka kamala.. may free shuttle going to patong ang manathai.. pabalik triny namin mag tuktuk para tamang sight seeing..

2nd day sinulit lang namin surin lalo na nung sunset.. tapos may nag iikot na nagtitindang floating lantern nung gabi, nag-light kami ng samin, nakakatuwa, 200baht.. dapat phi phi and maya beach kami non.. if ever, whole day yun, 8am usual pick up time tapos until mga 4pm yun.. ayaw na namin kase mag island hopping, looking at the pics, parang el nido at coron din yung islands kaya ok na kami. phuket fantasea naman di kami nakapunta kase every thursday closed pala sila.. yun lang pinanghinayangan namin kase gusto talaga ni junakis pumunta don.. di naman namin type mag siam niramit.

expenses, mas mababa sis kase sa airfare mas mura kami kase galing kami KL (almost 4.5k kaming tatlo) tapos nung paalis naman ng phuket, domestic flight lang kami going to bangkok (nasa 1.9k ata kaming tatlo non).. sa hotel plus foods naman namin,transfers,massage pati konting shopping, nasa 25k 3d/2n
