I will be going to Bali end of August, got my RT ticket Cebu-Bali for 6,714. I do not have any expectations but I'm so excited.

mommies who traveled with babies or kids which hotels do you recommend? there are so many hotels to choose from in Agoda. All look good on photo. Not sure which areas are okay.

and also what was your itinerary considering you have a baby. did you consider booking in a hotel near a hospital? also security wise?

^sis you can check Hard Rock Hotel in Kuta, we stayed there when I was in Bali two weeks ago and I can say it's a child/family friendly hotel.

Travelling with kids or baby, try the conrad bali. Definitely a family type of hotel.

I went to Bali last two weeks ago. Actually, sinama ko na sa IT ang Jogja, hehe. So upon arrival, derecho muna akong Jogja. Then after three days, balik Bali. from domestic airport, derecho naman akong Tulamben to do scuba diving. Introductory diving lang. Known kasi ang Tulamben for Liberty shipwreck. Nga-avail ako ng package with Matahari Diving Resort. Included na food, accommodation, and transfers. Ok naman, I think sulit na.

Then from Tulamben,  nag Ubud Tour na rin ako, nag-add nalang ako ng  IDR400K sa package. Mga pinuntahan ko:
Tirta Gangga Waterpalace - maliit lang yung place pero maganda
Goa Gajah temple - ok lang, nothing to rave about.
Tirta Empul - I find this interesting. First time ko makakita ng ganito
Tegallalang Rice Terraces - Honestly, di naman ako na-impress, hehe. I haven't been to Banawe, pero based on pictures, di hamak na maganda ang Banawe. I had lunch here at Alon-Alon Cafe. Hmm.. so-so lang. Namahalan kasi ako eh! The most expensive meal during my trip.  IDR132K  inabot ng bill ko. Main course at drinks for one person lang yun ah.  Ok naman ang lasa at malaki ang servings, plus maganda ang ambiance, compare sa ibang katabing cafes. Kaso tight and budget ko eh!  haha

Then I stayed sa Kuta at Loft Legian hotel. Ok naman, considering it's a budget hotel. Saka ang babait ng staff. Ang ganda sana ng location kasi walking distance lang ang Kuta beach. Kaso lang along mga bars sya eh. Although ok naman, inaabot naman ako ng gabi sa labas and I felt safe. Except for one time na lumabas ako around past 10Pm na siguro, ilang lasing na nakasalubong ko, kaya bumalik nalang ako ng hotel. hehe

Then next day, temple tour. Sa mga solo travelers dyan, baka prefer nyo na babae ang mag-tour sa inyo, recommend ko 'Bali Safest Driver', may mga female drivers sila.  :-)
Uluwatu - super ganda ng view!!
Tanah Lot - ganda rin sana kaso naman super crowded nung andun ako, di man lang ako makasingit para mag-picture. haha
Taman Ayun - Ok lang, maliit lang, pero nice naman.
Pura Ulun Danu Bratan - Favorite ko 'to! Ang layo nga lang. Siguro if may time, maganda rin mag-stay ng medyo matagal kasi parang Tagaytay yung ambiance eh. 

On my last day, plan ko talaga puntahan yung mga beaches via Kura-Kura bus, pero after seeing the traffic, nawalan na ko ng gana! Kaya ayun, Kuta beach lang napuntahan ko, then tamabay sa Beachwalk Mall then puntang Krisna for souvenirs. 

I used GrabCar and GrabBike several times, wala naman naging problema, pero I saw some areas na may mga nakalagay talaga na 'No to Uber and Grab'

Just done backreading the whole thread. We are going to Bali this March 19-23 and the three of us are all first-timers. I just have some few questions:

1) Suggested pocket wi-fi?
2) Anyone who's tried sleeping in Denpasar Airport? We'll be arriving in Bali by 11PM-ish na kasi of March 29 so para makatipid na rin, I thought of just staying the night there then byahe papuntang accommodation first thing in the morning.
3) Estimated pocket money needed?

^ sis, may mura naman accommodation sa Bali, tapos 3 naman kayo diba. Pwede ng dumerecho at wag matulog sa airport.  Para atleast makapahinga pa kayo para may energy maglibot. hehe

re pocket money, depende sa activities na gusto nyo gawin at mga gusto nyo puntahan. A decent meal usually costs mga 150-200 pesos. Sa transport naman, nag-Grab Bike ako. Pero, tatlo naman kayo so ok lang kayo mag taxi or Grab/Uber kasi share naman sa expenses.

Actually big deal lang sya sa news overseas pero kapag andun ka ok naman.Last december dahil sa Mt agung  kaunti lang daw yun tourist according to locals pero as a tourist tuwang tuwa kami since hindi masyado crowded.

Yun tour sis di ko sure if pwede lakarin yun tourist spots pero un strip ng cafes at shops dun panalo ,papalit ka na rin sa ubud area.
