Was there last February. Stayed at The Amala Spa Villa (included a sauna, jacuzzi pool, bath tub, huge bed, free breakfast). The Villas are usually located near the beach or a little farther away from the beach. They are gated resorts.

You can check TripAdvisor for better info.

Anyway, if you guys need a driver, I can suggest someone other than Norman. Norman offer 500k IDR per day, the driver we got only charged 450k per day. Same services. My boyfriend even asked him to buy me a bouquet of flowers to surprise me. He also helped us get a discount for Waterbom.

Oh, and yes, speaking of Waterbom, I highly recommend visiting there. Once you get tired of seeing temples, and I'm sure you will, it would be a great time to give yourself some thrill in Bali.

We had the most fun in Waterbom during our trip.

Yes may Uber sa Bali, dont use the taxi's going around the city. Lahat ng taxi susubukan kang perahan at lokohin. Take Uber whenever available.

Buy local prepaid sim, top it up with some load and register for 1 week or more of data broadband.

Use it for booking uber anywhere.

Hi, I have a question. We're going to Bali with my 5 girlfriends, we were so impulsive that we bought already an all in full board package. Gusto sana namin isingit ang beach after the tours. Yung hotel namin is quite far from the beach front, kung pupunta ba kami sa kuta beach may mga toilets or like mga for rent na short term lang para we can leave our stuffs and swim then shower na rin after?

Exchange rates are better for US dollar. You can also withdraw from ATM machines as an alternative.

We will be having our short honeymoon sa Bali!

ASk ko lang sana saan kayo nagstay and why?

We are thinking either Ubud, Seminak, Uluwatu or Nusa dua.

I have read that Ubud is the center of Bali daw kaya lang yung mga accommodations dun is more on nature type ang mga makikita, tama ba? eh dahil nasa pinas tayo, parang not something new for us.

What can you recommend? and malalayo na ba yung iba?

^ We always stay at Kuta coz we mainly ko to bali to surf. 

I stayed in Seminyak once, ok naman but better for me in Kuta or Legian for surfing but if you want to just lounge at the beach, Seminyak is fine.

I've been to Uluwatu to check out the temple and Suluban beach but didn't stay there.  When I went to suluban beach that time, high tide, so we didn't really lounge at the beach but just checked out the people surfing the big waves. 

I have a friend who stayed in Ubud for their honeymoon then just took the tour to go around the beaches.  A lot seem to like Ubud.  I've been there once, kasama sa tour, went to the market lang and went around.  Mga rice terraces, rice fields, makikita mo on the way there.

I'm not sure yung Jimbaran is in Nusa Dua, from what I recall, that's where you have dinner by the beach coz maganda sunset dun.  And wala ata mga waves dun for surfing.
