transpo, our group hired a driver/van service, additional charge toll fees
entrance fee temples average P 30-75 only
food prices are very affordable, mineral water super cheap even sa convenience store, but we opted to eat mostly fastfood kfc, mcdo drive thru so we could maximize the travel time for temple tours, they have A&W  
little pasalubong shopping at krisna 24 hrs souvenir shop, cheapest better price than tiangge stall
1.5 hrs balinese spa


for branded stuff, ang mura lang nila compare to manila price, surfing brands like roxy, billabong but i didn't buy.

Ubud is for relaxation. Pang-honeymoon tong place na to. If you want to explore Bali and go to restos and the beach, better to stay in Legian instead or Seminyak

Just got back from an amazing trip to Bali. Btw if your in ubud skip Ketut from the movie eat pray love if your a decent human being. Would not recommend it to anyone

Been wanting to go here for a beach trip.. Anyways, why, sis? Bad experience?

We did not go to Kuta for the beaches. No match for boracay here and super crowded daw dun according to our guide plus daming scammers. We just stayed in Ubud during our whole 4 days and never regretted it. Planning on going back again for a week in December. Avoid Ketut kasi pineperahan nalang sya ng mga anak nya for his popularity. Sobrang senile na sya and pagod na. The whole time my wife was talking to him sinasabi nya sobrang pagod na daw siya, he has not eaten pa nga daw and that was already 2pm. The hula thing is like a tape recorder na lahat na nag visit same lines. (which we already knew about) I got kinda mad because of what his sons are doing to him. Halata mo mukhang pera na anak nya. Pag upo nyo palang money up front. 30 USD. Then you get to listen to the same lines. Pero Ketut as a person is very warm and funny. Other than that wala na good point to do this when in Bali. Our guide told us during 1998 daw ang pinaka sulit to visit ketut kasi hindi pa sya senile and very sharp ang memory nya tapos talaga donation lang ok na kahit magkano. Now daw pure money making machine nalang no wonder he did not recommend we visit Ketut kasi mali na daw ginagawa sa kanya.

Pinaka na enjoy namin, nag rent kami ng scooter and inikot ikot ang lugar. Kumain ng Babi Guling, nanood ng sine sa beachwalk at tumambay sa beach kahit di sing ganda ng boracay natin, masaya at masarap din ma experience ang  Bali

Ingat ingat lang sa mga local na kunyari kakausapin kayo kasi may ipopromote  silang bagong resort, tapos , nagbibigay ng flyer na sealed  na pag binuksan may "congratulations! You won"  Tapos dadalhin kayo sa office nila para i-claim ang prize, na excite kami sa premyo kasi siguradong  isa sa mga ito:  ipad mini, iphone 5, 10,000 USD or 7 Days vacation, walang babayaran kasi promotion nga daw. Tapos sabi ng local na yon sa tinagal tagal na daw nya nag popromote kami pa daw ang makakakuha ng premyo at pag na-claim namin may 50USD sya! Oh di ba? Akala ko naman swerte na kasi bday ko naman ng araw na yon!  hehe  pagdating sa office nila may interview, may pi-fill upang form at sabi may seminar muna bago ibinigay ang premyo. Kaya tinanong namin kung bakit sila nag popromote sa mga tourist at may raffle raffle pa. Bago daw kasi yong resort, tinanong ulit namin kung Timeshare ba inooffer nila kasi medyo hindi kapani paniwala na for promotion nga lang. Di sumagot yong local, sabi lang no commitment naman daw! After Seminar na yong premyo.  sabi namin if Timeshare nga, nagsasayang lang  kami pareho ng oras kasi sure naman na di kami bibili or magpapamember kasi may bad experience na din kami sa ganyang agad agad kailangan mag decide. Umalis na din agad kami. Yon na ishare ko lang meron din pala ganun dun, akala ko sa pilipinas lang

next year na siguro ako babalik ng bali. hehe.
