Me too! But it was a loooong time ago during the early 90s pa. This is the place where we bought a lot of oil paintings and different wood carvings. They were so cheap then! I wonder how it is now.

here is out itinerary c/o Abbe our driver. Kami lang nagbigay ng places na gusto namin puntahan at kaya ng 2 days. Hindi kami naglunch for 2 days kasi nasa byahe lang kami and may dala kami sandwiches.


Day 1.

-Ubud
(Puri Saren Agung, Pura Saraswati, Goa Gajah,Gunung Kawi,, Puri Saren Agung, Tirta Empul)
-Jimbaran Bay

Day 2:
-Taman Ayun ( Royal temple)
-Bedugul
-Jatiluwih
-Tanah Lot ( Nice to see sunset)

Hindi ko na siya masyado maalala budget/expenses pero mga 100usd ata for 2 days without pasalubongs.

Anybody here can recommend a travel agent that can help us plan an Bali-Yogyakarta (particularly Borobudur) trip?

Also, any inputs on Ubud Hanging Gardens? Wanting to stay here for our anniv trip this year.

hi girls .. anybody who has traveled recently to Bali and alone??

i will be travelling alone to bali from sg via airasia on August 9, 2012 while my friends will be following since we were able to book separate flights.. i'm very concerned about the post that i read here..

if you were me.. would you still push through with the trip? or would you rather rebook the ticket and go somewhere else? any advice would be highly appreciated?

I've travelled alone from Jakarta to Bali and from Bali to Jakarta because my friends booked separate flights. It was great, no problems. Personally, if you ask me, I would still go even if alone (well, obviously, because I already did, hehe). In my opinion, I just think that that issue was an isolated case (and i feel for them, of course) but we can't let those incidents hamper our travel plans - because travelling, in general, really entails risks, so kapag isolated cases like that, not much of an issue. para sakin kasi, the only risks that i will not take are countries with civil unrest or threats of war. hehe

btw, if you're coming from jakarta going to bali, try the fresh buns in Roti Boy! Sooooooo yummy!!!!!!! Oh, I'm craving for them terribly. Yung sa Bali airport kasi na Roti Boy stand, hindi mainit yung binigay sakin.

My friend is getting married in Bali this May. Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced travelling to Bali after Chyng's experience last June.  Ok na ba sila sa mga Pinays? I'll be travelling alone (well with my Singaporean friend pero syempre di naman kami pwedeng humarap sa immigration together and iba passport nya so I consider it equal to travelling alone), so I'm scared if they still do racial profiling. I don't want to spend an hour in immigration just so I can attend a friend's wedding.

Soooooo true!! Kasi even our driver before, Nyoman is his name, di ko lang alam last name. But there really are many Nyomans there (and the other first names as well). So kahit tour drivers, malamang maraming other Nyomans.
