As far as I know in this thread you were the only one who mentioned a certain Nyoman. So I assumed amongst the very many Nyomans in Bali your driver is the one Ms. Panini is referring to. Correct me if I'm wrong Ms Panini.

I will be going to Bali this November. Question ko lang sa mga sis na based sa Bali or nakapunta na ng Bali how much palitan nila ng usd to rupiah these days (average)?

Medyo malaki kasi ang ipapapalit ko. Di naman super laki pero may kalakihan. Kasi if dito sa Pinas ko ipapapalit, mga nasa 3000 pesos or more tubo sa akin ng money changer. Iniisip ko tuloy if mas maganda ba if magpapalit ako ng USD dito then dyan sa Bali ako magpapalit ng rupiah. What do you think sisses?

^It's like comparing apples and oranges. I've been to all three and enjoy ako sa lahat. Bali has its own charm and so does El Nido and Coron. Better go visit all three so you can see for yourself

Sis yikee, jimbaran bay has lots of restos. There's high-end like the resto of Intercon hotel, may low-end din na parang dampa restos. Yung sa mga dampa, mura lang food and masarap din. If you choose to eat sa dampa-style, it's very easy to get a table even without reservations. I suggest that you try Jimbaran for dampa style eating, tapos for fine dining, go to a hotel or go to Seminyak.

My friend is getting married in Bali this May. Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced travelling to Bali after Chyng's experience last June.  Ok na ba sila sa mga Pinays? I'll be travelling alone (well with my Singaporean friend pero syempre di naman kami pwedeng humarap sa immigration together and iba passport nya so I consider it equal to travelling alone), so I'm scared if they still do racial profiling. I don't want to spend an hour in immigration just so I can attend a friend's wedding.

Hi mei-mei, I just arrived from Bali this weekend. I also attended a wedding. Stayed in Nusa Dua because the wedding was held there. Wala naman akong naging problems sa airport. Pero kasi I took the Jakarta-Bali route. So sa Jakarta immigration ako dumaan. Actually, yung immigration nga natin sa Pinas yung nagtanong sa akin saan ako nagwo-work and ano yung nature ng job ko. Sa Indonesia, di naman ako tinanong. I think you don't have to worry about anything, as long as you're not doing anything wrong, 'di ba? Just bring your wedding invites, hotel vouchers, etc. or any proof na aattend kayo ng wedding dun--in case they ask.

Just got back from bali.. wala naman kaming naging prob.. walang tanong tanong ang mga IOs pagdating and pauwi.. may 25usd charge pala para sa visa sa kanila pag US passports.. tapos may airport tax sila pag paalis ka na, 150,000 rupiah per person.

stayed at bali tropic.. maganda ang rooms, very balinese.. kumain kami sa jimbaran one night, Jukung restaurant.. got the package worth 800,000rupiah kumpleto na sya with dessert and soup.. not bad na din ang servings nila.. they picked us up sa hotel and hatid for free.. waited for the sunset muna tapos lahat halos ng restos don may mga short cultural shows at night.

pero ang water pala sa kanila, kahit sa bali tropic and jimbaran, may bayad.. a glass costs 15,000rupiah.

nag camel safari din kami and nakakatuwa naman, maganda view yun nga lang super init.

We stayed at Matahari Terbit. Dun naman, walang bayad ang water sa resto nila (Galuh Cafe) and we even had 2 complimentary bottled water (yung medium sized) per day sa room.

we also had complimentary 3 bottles of water per day pero yung sa resto ng resort mismo and yung resto sa jimbaran, we saw our bills and both may charged yung water

wohoo! Just got back from Indonesia. We super duper love Bali! It's true na walang wala sila sa beaches natin kasi pang surfing talaga beaches nila. Grabe mga waves!

Sa Harris Resort Kuta kami nagstay. Beach front hotel and two thumbs up sa service nila. All smiles and always ready to help you. Malaki factor ng hotel kung bakit sobrang nag enjoy kami sa Bali. Ang ganda ng mga spots dun, worth it talaga ang pagod and gastos.

Walang problem sa english kasi majority ata dun foreigners and kahit locals nakakaintindi ng english. Wala kami nakakasabay na Pinoy sa tours and even sa plane.

Si abbe din driver namin. Hindi siya yung tipo na ittour kayo sa temples, he'll drive you to those places tapos hahayaan na niya kayo umikot on your own. Sabi niya starting next month Rph 500,000 a day na siya kasi magmamahal na gas nila dun so lahat sa bali magmamahal na din.

^Nice to know you had fun there as well. At least, nakaikot ka. Kami kasi hindi masyado dahil ang dami naming activities na non-tour related, hehe. Anyways, it's true that the beaches here are better. Pero ang maganda kasi sa Bali yung kultura talaga nila.
