is there a way to update the firmware without using kies?  nagha hang palagi after downloading the software update..ayaw na mag install.

mga sis, may question ako. almost 4months lang yung Samsung Y Duos ko. satisfied ako sa features and everything. altho lately, parang ambilis mag drain yung battery, to the point that i have to charge twice a day...

Sis, kamusta Samsung Galaxy Y Duos mo?  My mom wants this phone also but she's worried na baka slow daw. She is more of a texter kasi. Mabilis bang ipang text sya?

Yung battery life, mas ok ba if mostly texting lang ginagawa? Yung calls din ba mabilis maka drain?

And wala naman problem sa dual standby?

^@twelve5, lately, medyo mabilis ma drain ang battery coz heavy texter din ako. okay naman mag text coz sanay na ako sa touchscreens. no problem naman yung dual standby, altho there are times mahina signal ng Sun or Globe -- there are some malls kasi na mahina ang signal for Sun or for Globe. (like in Ayala Malla, expected na malakas ang signal for Globe)

over-all, ok naman ang Y Duos

My mom's still undecided. Pero sabi ko go buy na. Bahala na si batman. Gusto kasi nya touchscreen, dual sim/ dual standby and about the size of ipod touch  kaya oks yung galaxy y duos. Dapat lang masipag sya mag recharge ng batt. Hehe

I'm also eyeing on Y duos! Dapat Sony Xperia na bibilhin ko kaso nung nakita ko yung samsung na dual sim at may front cam, parang mas bet ko na to. for skype ko kasi gagamitin din so kelangan ko ng front cam

Mga sis, okay ba yung samsung galaxy pocket? I'm thinking of buying it for my eldest. It has wifi naman daw plus may games din pwede i-download but I believe not all games are compatible ata.

@twelve5, you can go to any Samsung store and check out the Y Duos on display. para may first hand experience mama mo with the unit (naks!  ) -- that's what i did before i decided to buy Y Duos. also, check out it's specs on the internet

Ask ko lang, may counterpart ba ang ipod nano or ipod shuffle or ipod classic sa samsung? Planning to buy sana for running kaso yung ipod shuffle is 2gb lang! Ipod touch is very mahal naman for running lang naman.. May nakita ako sa UK website ng samsung pero di ko makita sa website ng samsung ph
