Blue purple: I recently bought a Note for my husband. Nabasa ko sa forums, ang suggest nila about the battery, let it drain as in yung nag power off na amg phone bago mo i charge, then mamamaximize mo yung ultimate potential nung battery nya.

My battery usage it very fast din nga sa note ko, nag pn off in cya on its own a few times... I heard dapat i-drain then fully charge about 10-15 times... So after its been drained how long dapat i-charge para talagang full cya?

Question about the android market installed in my Galaxy Y: Is it really necessary to enable the background data setting so I can download apps from the market? Is there another alternative in downloading apps from the market? Sorry for sounding such a noob, but I really am new to android phones. Kaya lang diba kasi kapag naka-enable ang background data, tumatakbo ang charges sa network (in my case, Smart)? Tama ba?

Sis Mai dapat drain talaga? minsan 10% na lang chinacharge ko na pero kanina umabot ng 1% ako hehe bago nag charge. meron nga din ako nabasa na after a few cycle of charging mas hahaba battery life, antagal din nya mag charge pero given naman yun kasi malaki din kasi talaga battery nya hehe

i won't advice you to do this sis because cellphone batteries now are all Lithium-Ion applicable lang ang full discharge sa mga Nickle Cadmium type na battery    try to read this article to know more how to care about Li-ion Batteries

what i do is i download apps at www.market.android.com, open my wifi and the apps will be downloaded and installed. pati compatibility kasi nasasabi dun. i turned the data something off, i dont know if that will incur network charges. i have yet to see my bill.

^I didn't know may compatibility pa pala sa apps. Akala ko compatible sa lahat ng android phones. Hehe. Kaya pala nung nagdowload ako ng pixlr-o-matic, sobrang liit ng font! Thanks for the info sis kaice.

I just followed the steps you just shared about downloading apps from the android market. But I can't seem to download apps if I don't enable the background data setting (which I read can actually jack up your bill if it's always turned on) and also if I'm not logged in google talk. Bakit kaya ganun?

to avoid incur network charges
go to settings > wireless & network> mobile network settings > Use packet data {uncheck this one}

I don't have a note yet, it's one of my choice. Ayoko sana magkamali ng decision since mahal siya.

seems like this is a common problem with Samsung mobiles
I have the Galaxy Tab and I've given up on it already. Says 100% charged, 5 minutes after removing the charger, it turns off! nagloloko talaga ang battery ng Samsung, nakakainis coz I cant even use it for 30 minutes straight.

puede sis, pero unlike with my nokia fone wherein i can just view the pics and edit it, sa note ko e kelangan pa muna syang either i-move / copy/ cut bago mo sya makita sa computer.  syempre, may konting drawback ito coz sometimes hindi naman lahat e gusto mong kunin dba, yun lang...same goes with other types of files...

pag kies air naman sis okay hindi kelangan move para maaccess yun pictures, same lang sila ng nokia sis no need na to do those steps para maaccess ko sa computer basta may usb, mas gusto ko ang kies air kasi pwede ako magsend ng text kahit computer gamit,

lalabas na ang iphone 5 naku magiging 2 na babies ko hehe

@princess27: thank you sa reply medyo naguluhan kasi ako dun lol! typo pala ako sa post ko what I mean is spare "battery" for the note. from my understanding is you just need to dl the keis app so you can directly edit the images to you note. Right?
