Found an app that allows file sharing between an android phone and your pc via wifi:

I.LOVE.IT. =) hindi na kelangang dumaan sa internet like dropbox.

Sis kikaynezz, wala ka bang wifi at home? Ano ba ang setup mo? Easiest kasi is to download directly from your phone. Bihira rin kasi ako gumamit ng Kies.

Ang alam ko, kung meron ka na ng *.apk files, ita-transfer mo lang yung sa SDCard ng phone mo.

Walang naka-tie na CC account sa google account ko.

bakit ganun pag sinasaksak ko iyong samsung note ko sa laptop hindi narerecognize iyong phone ko. nag chacharge lang siya.

i'm using samsung brand laptop naman. ano ba kailangan kong gawin para ma copy ko iyong mga songs sa phone ko from my laptop. kasi sa nokia 5610 express music ko before, nung mainstall ko iyong laman ng cd na kasama sa package, ok na ang dali ng mag manage ng files. from pc-phone.

I think you need to download something from their site to make your Note act 'like a USB'. Ganun rin kasi yung ginawa ko sa 10.1 ko, I had to download something from their official site para makapag-transfer ako ng files.

@comp_nurse - I don't have a samsung note but it looks like you need to install Kies. http://www.samsungapps.com/about/onPc.as

@kikaynezz - if you have windows 7 you can share your PC's wifi by using Connectify http://www.connectify.me/ hehe pinipilit ko talaga

I got a galaxy S@ for my birthday, so far, its ok, except for the "forced closed" notification on apps from time to time! ... Pero gusto ko ng Note!
Pero recently my other samsung phone gave up on me. So I wanted to buy a new phone (on a budget) for my other number... Bf ended up adding another account to his existing line for me so I can have another handset... Yey!!! and he gets to pay for my bill din! hahaha! abuso lang! lol! pero still, gusto ko pa din ng Note.... pagiipunan kita!

after 5 years of service ng sony ericsson p990i (smart phone) finally nag rest na rin sya. so after magatal na pag iisip if ano bibilhin i've decided to buy the samsung note. pinagpilian ko s2, iphone4s and ipad2+cheaper phone.

so far, worth naman ang price nya kahit mahal (sa mall ko kase binili para safe). malaki screen which is okay din sa akin kesa mag ipad2. i'm a ipod touch 4G user so yung screen ng note mas clear pa sa ipod touch imo, nasync ko lahat from fb, google plus, even my outlook calendars. i'm a doodle lover din so the S Memo sketch is super love ko. expandable memory pa so music and movies super sulit din sa akin.

love ko na sya.

downside lang, mabilis malobat ng battery which i think prob naman ata to talaga ng smartphone so buy na lang ng portable charger for long trips.

thanks for the advice sis chirochan. na open ko na sa pc iyong samsung note ko. wala pa bang available na software ng divX for samsung note. triny ko kasi idownload. not supported daw.

ask ko lang sa mga fellow gt sis ko na may samsung note:

its been less than 2 months na since i bought my note, and so far, aside from the battery, d ko maintindihan kung bakit pagkakaload ko, nababawasan ang load ko after wala pang 5 mins ng 10 pesos, as in! dati nagkaron din ng 3 instances na di dumating ang load ko, pinareprogram ko yon at ok na, yun na lang nababawas na load ang problem, kya ngyon, hindi na lang ako naglload ng regular load.

another is the headset, i can use the mic for recording, pero when somebody calls me, they can't hear me. it has been the case eversince.

lastly, sa ngyon, ang problem ko e motion sensor yata tawag don. why is it that when for example, i am on reading a document, or kahit sa text lang, pag napahorizontal na, ayaw na nyang bumalik sa vertical, not unless i get back to the previous page, kakayamot kaya yon.

napahaba, pero love ko pa rin ang note ko. gusto ko lang magbakasakali na may nakaencounter for example ng same problem with mine at kung anong ginawa nyo para maayos yon....

^ sis baka nakaon yun date services mo yun gprs hold mo yun power button deactivate mo yun data network, yun headset alam ko may option for that pero sakin di yan nangyari kahit ordinary headset gamit ko, yun motion sensor calibrate mo sa settings makikita sana makatulongako

^ thanks sis, ini-off ko na nga.
yun nga lang sa motion sensor, d ko makita yun sa settings. ang nakita ko e s panning, shake, etc. pero yung sa vertical and horizontal position, wala e. di ko rin alam kung san yung setting regarding sa headset.

Mga sis ask ko lang naka flash and naka root ba yung mga fone nyo?also for sII user,meron bang text indicator yung bang may nag bblink pag may nag text..gets nyo ba?hahah hindi ko kase ma explain..

i think gets ko yung sa text. sa akin wala sis. pop up lang lumalabas then mag black out na kung hindi ko chineck agad.

hindi rin naka root phone ko. pag may matinong ice cream sandwich na software? na daw tsaka niya root phone ko.

i just wanna ask may profile settings ba ang SG Note? kasi iyong samsung ni hubby i forgot the unit. basta maliit na manipis. may profiles siya. para pag nasa meeting siya or sleeping napapalit palitan niya. ayoko kasi ng total silent pag nasa meetings or natutulog gusto ko may tone pero set sa mahina lang para pag may text message maririnig ko pa din. sa church lang ako nag sisilent talaga. kahit pag sleeping time may profile din akong ginagamit sa dati kong phone. nahihirapan kasi ko. kasi sa gabi papalitan at hihinaan ko iyong message tone ko then sa umaga babaguhin ko na naman kasi walang profile settings.

I'm using Samsung SII and I keeping receiving the following message whenever I try to download apps:

"<insert app name>" could not be downloaded due to an error. (403)

I was told to clear my proxy to resolve the problem. Anybody has any idea on how to clear the proxy on Samsung SII?
