yung mga may punto na dialect ganun nga sila
may kilala kasi ako mga taga  batangas ganyan ehh

pero when it comes to tagalog talaga
dapat wala yung "ga"

^^ yap tama ganyan talaga dialect sa amin. Naiiba sa talagang tagalog para sa amin hindi mali un kung un punto batangas talaga gagamitin mo. Malimit may ga na word katulad ng ano ga? Instead na ano ba?

Mga Sis ask ko lang ofcourse naman kapag nag ielts mas maimprove yung english diba? Me interview ba yun before maka enroll? hehe Im planning to enroll but im still thinking if I still have time kasi I'm working na eh baka masayang lang at di ko ma grasp mga lectures. I need advice. TIA

"I was like", "you know like," "and the like" etc

"I was like" in place of "And so I said" has been around for a while. I personally think it's fine, unless overused (e.g. And I was like "hello", and he was like "hi", and I was like "uhm").

"And the like" means "more of the same" (e.g. pumps, stilettos, and the like). I think this is perfectly acceptable and can be used in formal documents.

^Many years ago... nung di pa uso dito sa Pinas gamitin yang "like-like" na yan, I read somewhere na parang laging ginagamit yan ng teens from California. Sa New York, or other parts of America, hindi siya nauso. I think kumalat nalang siya at halos lahat na ng kabataan ginagamit yan ng halos every sentence nalang. Lol.

kaganina is cebuano for kanina, kagahapon also which either means yesterday or past (a person's past)

wasnt't able to read the entire thread so im not sure kung may nag mention na, but this annoys me:

"please fill up the order form"

sige punuin mo ang order form!!!!

there's this one seller na sabi sakin "sis paki fill up nalang yung form"
i replied "sige sis fill out ko later yung form "

diba? pano ba nangyari yang fill up?

Anyway, natawa ko sa "like-like" i use it sometimes lalo na pag may nakakalimutan ako or pag natatanga ko hehe

"And the like" is actually correct like when you say "burgers, fries, and the like." I believe it depends on how the person says it. May mga tao kasi na kahit grammatically correct pag narinig mo sila magsalita parang pangit pa rin pakinggan.
