i completely see your point. confusing nga talaga if you're staying in the U.S. and would read a post that has the word 'bucks' in it.

eto simple lang naman, yung friend ko naririnig ko siya palagi na sinasabing, Move on its "Pass" already, ganun din pag nagtetext siya. imbes na past naging pass(pwera pamimintas naman, napansin lang) pag dating sa mga exams, sasabihin naman niyang Did you past the exam??? baligtad, naging Past ang Pass. Minsan nagkakamali lang naman dahil nakakalimutang imemorize yung Past Tense, Future Tense at Past Participle.

korek sis, siguro confuse lang siya pero hindi ko kinocorrect kasi baka magalit sa akin tapos sabihin pa sa akin feeling matalino, wag na lang. Madalas din niya sabihin sa akin yang "It's not my lost". Sapul!

Correct. Those words are called MASS NOUNS.

i believe ang punctuation mark ay dapat nasa loob ng quotation mark. coz it's part of the sentence na kino-quote.

The term "food/foods" should be used correctly, both as singular and plural, depending on whether you're referring to food that is countable or non-countable.

"Food" is a mass / non-count noun and used when referring to a specific category of food.

Usage:

1. I ate a lot of food last night
2. That's too much food on your plate
3. You're eating junk food again

You use "foods" when you refer to types of food, i.e.,

1. I love European foods
2. Foods that are high in cholesterol are not good for you
3. The foods of Vietname and Thailand are delicious

The use of a punctuation mark in or out of a quotation should follow the logic of the sentence

1. The general rule, especially when using a question mark is to put it inside the quotation:

At dinner last night, he asked me, "Do you still love me?"
I asked, "Why did you do this to me?"

2. But there are times, when it makes sense to put it outside of the quotation, i.e.,

Did you believe it when he said, "I love you"?
Do you believe in the saying, "Time is gold"?

Note that there are no periods inside the quotes. That's because you can only use one ending punctuation in a sentence -- usually the stronger one.

Totoo sis. At first, i thought maybe people are using it in a similar manner such as "anywayS" pero I've realized that it is being used in a serious tone by some. Hala, basta ang importante, thankful tayo

^pwede yan kung meron number before the word, like 2 persons.. pero kung persons lang nope..

yung thanks god or thank god na explain ko na din before
