First "Cruel" Love Story
« on: May 31, 2011, 12:32:25 am »
My relationship with my first ex bf lasted for 8 months (Feb-Oct 2010). He's two yrs older than me. He's intellectual, visionary, achiever, responsible, loyal, business-minded, and the likes - standards met for my ideal guy. And I was close to perfection for him. We met June last year when he became my senior in a military organization, 4th yr high school. I needed inspiration. Yet I was the "light" of his gloomy life. According to his friends, I changed him. A deadly strong, silent type has carry out a happy disposition after we had constant late night YM convos, exceeding 12 hours on weekends. For six months we've been MU, I least expect he would confess his love for me that December night 2009.

He was my first love. I was his first girlfriend. "Destiny" yung theme song namin for several reasons.

The early months were sweet and fun. All those glorious days when only me mattered. I thought he was The One, until I stepped in college. A lot of changes occur. He became overly possessive of me. He doesn't like it when I take photos together with some college friends. He poked fun that I was "fat", had pimples, this and that. "Wala na akong gana. I miss your old self." Like where did I go wrong? I asked forgiveness even it's not my fault, he's spoiled because I'm naturally caring and a person who can't leave a problem overnight. He has several moments of "walk outs" then It's always been me who's running after him. I was a fool. First love....sigh.

Our last month being together....One night when I checked Facebook, his status went from "Married to Single". Unsurprisingly shocking because I wasn't happy the whole first semester. I got fed up of him saying nasty words. We're cooled off. After I came back from a 3-day tour in Manila, we still hang out like lovers. I thought its working out for weeks we have no single argument. Finally, that one day came. A guy friend approached me in front of him just to ask for suggestions. My ex left me standing there.

A month after...I met him at a friend's debut. He didn't talk to me. I was hopeless. Tears were ascending down my face in silence, no matter how I control myself. Oh btw, he's seated in front of me.

A guy from our group: Talk to her
Ex: Nah. Forget it.
Guy: You're a coward.
Ex: How could you say that to me? A 2-year guy who's younger than me!

Girl seating beside me: Ok ka lang?
Me: Oo, don't worry. I'm fine.
Girl: Maintain your value. g**o sya. You deserve someone better!

That night he sent PM "I just want to be left alone." We have no formal breakup.

It's been seven months that I regained myself back...I'm happy being single. I hit the gym, shed pounds, blooming na ngayon...maraming pagbabago. Very overwhelming. I surround myself with positive people. Haha! Until now, his life is so miserable. Can't keep his head cool. Impatient jerk.

Lately, we're passing by each other in malls and in the university. I could see sorry in his eyes. Even from afar, he can't keep his eyes off from the beautiful girl I become. I now laugh on conversations with his name mentioned. Today, my friend secretly told me that he opens up the topic about me. Gaparamdam sya sa Facebook. Hindi naman pinapansin. Haaaay nako. Hindi pa ba siya naka move on? Hahaha! Even if he keeps on blaming me for everything, my conscience is clear.
