Weng correct ka jan about BDO. Nakakainis lang kase first time nangyari yon at nakakabwisit na mag-charge sila ng 300 late fee for a 300 charge. Imbyerna.

I want to get that SunLife FlexiLink or MaxiLink recommended by Marose (may insurance coverage di ba?)

correct, go na sa chinabank.

- isang downside lang is, hindi gaano kasmooth ang transaction nila for interbranch over the counter. kasi kelangan pa i-fax nila sa branch mo and your branch will confirm. unlike sa BPI na its all online sa computer nila. so you can withdraw over the counter say for an amount na lalagpas sa ATM limit. but again for those na gusto difficult access, plus to. kasi ako maintaining ko is Timog but I normally transact sa Ayala (may i go out mode ako sa work)

- nabadtrip din ako twice sa USD nila kasi you have to reserve pa. unlike sa unionbank, you will only reserve a day before if more than USD10k and iwiwithdraw mo. I guess konti lang pera nila sa vault  :-\ This is the reason why TD lang kami sa knila sa USD becasue mas liquid and USD sa unionbank. Specially the Ayala Branch  ;D

Wala man Lang perks? Dyan pa man din ang checking acct namin.

Question pala. May bpi ATM savings si bong. Nawala wallet ko noon. Kasama ang ATM card. Ilan days para makakuha ng replacement? Problema ko pano withdraw. Pero pwde ko online transfer to checking tas mag issue sya ng cheque payable to cash. Pwede iyon ano? Ano kaya reqts ko to encash the cheque? No idea ako.

weng: ganun kaapag withdrawal.. kelangan talaga i-fax yung withdrawal slip mo sa branch mo unless nagfill out ka na ng signature card sa branch na yun. kung nagfill out ka na, smooth na future transactions mo. by the way, the signature card, will be sent to your branch and then they will confirm and send it back to the branch where you normally transact. may mga araw talaga na mahaba ang pila. re transfer, yes you can transfer to another account kahit hindi enrolled sa online banking.. na trry ko na yan.. but to another chinabank account. havent tried ng interbank :)

pia: dko alam kung ilang araw ang ATM card replacement pero mga one week or so i guess. its better kung i transfer mo na fund sa CA then issue ka check Pay to Cash and encash sa bank.. OK lang naman yun :) unless comes with an ATM sa CA?

Pia, you need a government-issued ID such as a passport to encash the cheque.

Mabilis lang mag-replace ng ATM card.  Some BPI branches can replace the ATM within the day.  Others naman, you have to wait a few days to a week to replace the ATM card.  Punta lang si Bong sa accounts officer tapos sign siya ng form for replacement of the card, etc.  He has to bring his passport too and ID too para ma-compare ang signatures niya sa signature card.

Re credit card waiver of annual fee.

If it is something that could easily be checked, such as a previous surgery, your application may be denied or worse, when you claim your benefit later, baka ma-deny kasi you withheld material information.  Nasa Insurance Code iyan.

Since my mom wanted to open a VUL for my sons (as beneficiaries), siempre I had to declare that they were prematurely born at 29 weeks, stayed in the NICU for 2 months (never naman na-confine sila after that), etc.  Asus, nagpunta pa kami sa accredited clinic nila to have my sons checked, etc.  I also had to secure certifications from their doctors (yung pedia and yung allergologist nila kasi nag-declare ako ng mild asthma). >:(  Grr, sa Sun Life wala akong kahirap-hirap.

i think your agent will guide you naman if OK i declare or kung wala lang na sakit. kung OK si agent mo, kasi yan ginawa sakin ni agent, i told her everything then she helped me figure out kung alin dun yung mga ilalagay sa insurance.. nothing major naman :)
