Maussie, your friend should report the bank to the Financial Consumer Affairs Department of the BSP.  I am assisting my tita right now sa similar problem niya.  May TD siya, she has the certificate and ang pagkakamali niya, nakalimutan niya about it LOL.  USD9k nakalimutan! ??? Nag-report nga siya sa BSP and she met with that department today.  Mukhang hopeful siya.

Wala rin nangyari sa BPI save-up ko. :P

Marose, we did already. Walang ginawa BSP. Pina explain lang BPI and then pinag meet nga friend ko BPI rep, walang nangyari.

Yung sa mga nahihirapan mag save, try to talk to your banks if they have bank products na puede nyo hulugan monthly (online is preferable para madali nyong hulugan), then literally forget about it. Puede din, enroll nyo yung account as a third party account tapos naka ITF sa mga babies nyo. I'm sure your banks can work with you.

Kim - have you also considered getting a life insurance for yourself? This will ensure na K will also be protected. Parang forced savings na din yun. May products din Sun Life like Flexilink na namention na ni Marose dati na may insurance and investment component. Ang hindi ako naniniwala eh insuring the life of my children. Parang weird for me and of course, it's not something I can even bear to think about.

Michelle - kaka imbyerna yung yaya na yan ha. Pero ako in somewhat the same position din. More than 1 month na kaming zero yaya. I had to take a leave for 2 weeks so I can take care of the kids. Until now looking pa din kami. Both those yayas have utang. Kaya galit na galit ako. Iniisip ko na lang makakarma din sila. Yung isa matakot sana sya kasi buntis sya tapos masama ang mga ginagawa nya. Buti na lang din my Mom is here to help, Kaya lang pag may activties sya sa church, kelangan ko nanaman mag leave.

Kim, i saw a Ladybug costume in Amazon na mala fairy. Yun ba ang gusto mo for K?

For boys, ang cute nung Thor costume! :p

I try to stay away from costumes na mainit (long sleeves, doble doble.. etc), makati at yung may hairpiece pa or wig.

Michelle, pang birthday yung paper boxes.

Weng, copy that Old Town coffee.. buy na ako bukas..

Lisa, I hope your dad's ok by now.. ano naging result sa prostate checkup nya? I want that smurfette for B! ang cute nyan!!! get it na!

LOL

Kim and Marcia, sino si Ana? medyo na-lost ako doon.. LOL

Marose, mura nga ang allerhand.. got a diaper bag na less than a $100 ata iyon..

On projector and screen, we need this sa party ni bong on June 4.. si Thor nag offer ng projector and screen.. 3.5k ata ang rent nun.. pero nakakuha ako sa ibang supplier na mas mura ang rate.. but si Thor pa din gagawa ng AVP.. we got them too for video and photo..

- Aviva MoneySmart Ladies (thru DBS bank). Started in Aug 2005. Premium back then was $410 with a rider. Ang rider is ang insurance worth $60. Bale $350 goes to Fund. Shenton Asia Pacific and Shenton Income Fund ako nung una pero after recession, I switched to Templeton Global Bond and DBS Enhanced Income. $175 each sila. Maturity is 2021 pero 2011 pwede na iwithdraw without surcharge. 2012 ang projected breakeven year ($350x12monthsx7yrs).
- Prudential. Started in 2007. Premium $150. China-India Fund and Singapore Managed Fund.
- AIA. $100. Started in 2010. Pang retirement savings ko kuno.
- AIA personal insurance ko na $100 plus another $100 for kyle deducted annual sa aking Medisave.

I manage my funds online and/or thru phone. From time to time nichecheck ko ang charts nila and fund values. So far swak ako sa Prudential. Ang aviva ko ipull out ko lahat this September at ilalagay ko sa Prudential. Mas malaki kinikita ko doon for the past 4yrs.

Pia, ihahatid kita sa GB Radissons. ;)

Maussie, yung tita ko reported to me that her meeting with the Financial Consumer Affairs Department went well.

Please go to the pregnancy thread.  Good luck to you, whether or not positive ang result ng PT.  Babies are blessings from God.  Always keep that in mind. :D

Kim, I agree with Maussie.  Get a Flexilink or Maxilink.  You get life insurance coverage for yourself and part of the premium goes to investment.  Double jackpot ka. ;)

Michelle: Buti nabanggit mo uli ang Oasis Soothing Baby Oil. I forgot about that one.. Have to write it down on my to-get list ;)

Anyway, you just dab a small amount directly on the skin. You can get a bottle at Sesou, Wonderworld Toy Kiosk (in front of Mothercare Shang) or here:

Thank you marose!

Nesz, 2 Sa akin Sana. Thank you!!

Kapag linked together sila, mas mataas processing fee nila. For death ito. And may corresponding amount pag critical illness or total/ permanent disability.

Checko nyo din ano mas ok dyan. Kung combo or separate.
