Wishing for a "LIKE" button on GTALK

Im also a member of Istorya.net, and I've noticed that they have a like button when you post good information on thread.

I think this is on way on how FN could track down or people within FN if this person is credible or not

What do you think??? I want to hear your thoughts on this issue???

Ok lang for posts but not for members themselves. There is absolutely no way for FN or GT to completely guarantee the credibility of the members of the forum.

I agree with mooncake, gathering a lot of likes kasi doesnt entirely mean credible ka. Boto ako dito sa Like button for posts, para hindi na kailangan magpost ng spam messages such as tama, i agree, oo nga, etc.

"Like" as in to indicate agreement with or  appreciation of the post -- yes, let's have that.

As for the "like" button they could, people could also track the people who like the post of that person, you could also check them out if they are credible people too. Better security, ensures users wont get scammed in this forum.

^ sis, it doesnt really apply na just because you have a lot of likes ay credible ka na, actually yung isang scammer here is a credible beauty hag who made reviews about beauty products and stuff and made a lot of acquaintances in this forum already but ended up scamming padin for how many times na.

Yung like could just probably be applicable sa pag agree on certain posts made by others. Nothing more. Kasi yung credibility naman ng seller hindi rin mabbase sa likes lang talaga. it just doesnt really follow.
 
To be honest, theres no way to establish the credibility of the sellers here unless they do a seller registry system and a feedback system just like on ebay. The Like feature just wont be enough to provide security or to ensure anything. ang maeensure lang nyang like thing is yung pag boost ng confidence ng poster who got a lot of likes, wala nang iba.

On second thought, no na lang sa lahat. Magkakasamaan lang ng loob. And every member would want their posts to be liked. Or maoobliga ka to like back. Cheverleyn na ganun. Tapos magiging popularity contest lang, in which case, it would hardly serve its original purpose.

Now a dislike button...nyaha.

^ possible siguro to have a like button pero walang feature that you can see kung sino yung mga nag-like para walang pilitan to like back wahaha!

Not fond of the LIKE button idea. Parang naging Facebook na din to pag nagkataon.

Including this in the forum will encourage a popularity-like competition, and I don't see how it can actually help the members.  How we see, believe, approve a post is our discretion.  A person with more likes won't necessarily mean he/she is more credible.
