Zoe turned 8 months yesterday. Instead of us buying a cake, my eldest brother asked us to visit him and his family at their new house in Parañaque and they cooked lunch for all of us as handa for Zoe's monthsary Birthday din ng yaya ko yesterday and we bought her a cellphone last Saturday as a birthday gift pero nag-refresher din kame syempre ng rules regarding cellphones. Mabuti na yung malinaw at nagkakaintindihan.

Marose, I agree with you regarding the BF-ing thread. I noticed na there are some queries kase na parang gusto lang i-justify why they should stop/want to stop bf-ing. Eh the thread is not supposed to convince mothers to breastfeed naman. Pero jan sa thread na yan sobrang dami ko nalaman about bf-ing.

I opened Deal Grocer yesterday and saw the deal on Seven Corners buffet. Ayan na naman ako at gusto ko din bumili, eh ayaw na muna ni hubby kase we have a couple of unused buffet vouchers pa. Try ko magpigil ah...

Jen, may Dr. Seuss books sa Booksale at Books for Less, pati ang book shop/kiosk selling used books sa may Greenbelt 1 at Market Market.  What I like about DS books kasi intro to phonics, repetitive ang words, playful and catchy sa mga bata.

Faves:  Hop on Pop, Ten Apples on Top, In A People House, Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish Blue Fish Red Fish, Dr. Seuss's ABC   

Yaya update - dumating si new yaya today.  I gave her a list of to-dos and my Yaya Manual for her to read during her free time.  Sana okay.

There's a Yaya Manual published by Smart Parenting. Yan yung Yaya Manual na binili ko. There are Tagalog parts for the yaya on the latter part of the book.

On Yaya Manual - I used to make my own. Kaya lang parang hindi naman binabasa ng mga yaya.  Mas effective pa rin sa kanila yung mga pinopost ko sa mirrror sa room at sa ref haha.

on breastfeeding, this is one of my biggest regrets nung nanganak ako. as in this made me really feel down especially during my post partum blues. like nesz, around 2 weeks ko lang din na-BF si K because she couldn't latch on my flat nipples. ang mali ko is, i introduced her to bottle feeding nung wala pa ko supply while in the hospital. so her being introduced to bottle plus the flat nipples, BFing was really a challenge for me. weeks after i was trying hard na magdirect breastfeeding pero after a few minutes, K gets impatient and cries out loud na kaya naaawa ako and give her bottle again. kaya nga sana i knew earlier na mine were flat and that it was going to be a challenge in BFing para mas nakapagprepare ako. E naman was supportive of me nung i tried to BF yun nga lang mali talaga na we introduced bottle to K nung nasa hospital. K's pedia in the hospital was very busy at the time we were confined kaya hindi niya ko talaga na-brief in detail about this. yung mga nurses naman sa hospital didn't say anything about it. my ob, nakita ko na lang ulit when i was about to be discharged. parating resident OB lang nagchcheck sakin nun so i was really not well informed.

sisses, how does a bath sling look like and pano siya ginagamit for babies who sit while bathing. mejo malaki na kasi si K for her net support pero she can't sit on her own pa din naman sa tub.

grabe mangilala si K now! when i went to the baby shower last sat and left her sa house sa mandaluyong with the yaya, walang ginawa kundi umiyak. she didn't want to stay and sleep din sa dati kong room.

i bought purple oven cake din last sat for my BIL's bday. i got the chocolate cake with marshmallow icing. i forgot what it's called. they made me taste their  lemon squares and they are supper yummy! i asked the store manager kung alin sa products nila ang sinusupply nila sa starbucks, ayaw niya sabihin!

Kim - yung studio fix sa 4th floor ng GB5. You cant miss it. Pag akyat mo ng escalator, andun sya sa may small pathway dun. Yung Purple Oven na cake, i think it's the campsite cake ang tawag. Yun din binili namin na cake before for G's bday sa antipolo na celebration. Yummy yun.  They supply the dome cake sa SB noon.  But I dont think SB sells it na.  Masarap daw yung food for the gods nila but I never tasted it. Si Husband lang.
