Luz, based yung book sa series na Magic School Bus (dvds lang nakikita ko).  Medyo scientific ang adventures ng mga bata sa class ni Ms. Frizzle (ang teacher/driver of the magic school bus).  The bus can become a spaceship or a submarine or a jet plane.  Marami silang adventures, very educational.  May books na counterpart ng mga shows.  Gusto ng mga anak ko kasi ang adventures nila gaya ng adventure into the digestive system (which explains how the digestive system works), yung trip to the solar system, yung trip in the age of the dinosaurs, etc.

Ok ba ang prospective yaya na may school every Sunday 8-2:00pm?

Mahal na talaga magpaaral ng bata ngayon, Jai.  Yung tuition ko sa UP for 4 years (baka even 8 kasi naka-avail pa ko ng socialized tuition), 1 year worth of tuition sa preschool.    Kasi when I was in law school, parang nasa P4500 per sem lang ang binabayaran ko for tuition.

ganyan na ba talaga ang price ng tuition fees ngayon?  matt is 9 months pa lang ngayon. pano na pag nag start na siya mag school..

Milette, meron din naman preschools na mas reasonable ang price.  Depends din sa location.  Sa Makati at Fort, mas mahal siempre than say, Cubao.   Tapos, kapag may brand like Gymboree, Tumble Tots, mahal lalo.

Kim - thanks. back up plan lang kung biglang gusto namin ilipat si G or si Destructo.  Sa AC, kinder2 (without the tuition increase na middle of the year siguro papabayaran) 94K+, with school supplies na (not including uniform). Nung Kinder 1 si G, around the same amount din.  Discounted na yan kasi annual kami magbayad para less ang suma.

Milette, sure. Sama ka. The more, the merrier diba? We have cpk vouchers from cash cash pinoy. 500 value for 299 lang. If the new joiners are going to the eb, i need to buy a few more vouchers.

Pare-pareho tayo ng dilemma about tuition. What more when our babies are school age na diba? B is only 6 months old! Kaya kailangan talaga ang mga VUL eh.

Maussie, hindi ako bracket 9 kasi government employee si mommy so maliit lang income niya per ITR.    Tapos ang daddy ko naman hindi involved sa pag-aaral ko (my parents separated when I was small) kaya single-income family kami.  Ma-abilidad lang ang mommy ko, may konting negosyo, kaya hindi naman kami purita.    At buti na lang only child ako.

Lisa and others with non-school age babies, huwag muna mag-worry sa tuition kasi mairaraos naman iyan.  May konting sakripisyo lang.  Kaya ang midyear bonus imbes na ibili ko at ni hubby ng mga luho, derecho sa pambayad ng tuition.  Same every time may bonus kami, itatago para may madudukot.  Since 2 agad ang babayaran, we chose quarterly scheme muna para hindi gaanong mabigat pero balak namin i-full payment next year.  May siblings discount naman sa preschool nina M & M. 

Actually, may preschools na mas mababa ng konti ang tuition sa school ng kids kaso gusto ko talaga Montessori style habang bata pa sila, kaya go na lang.  Hindi kasi uubra sa sobrang kulit boys ko ang traditional preschool ngayong height ng kalikutan nila.  Sana naman medyo humupa na in 2 years' time kung ipapasok sila sa traditional school.  As of now, sa Ateneo nasa P100k+ na ang prep (entry level for GS).  Ine-expect ko, nasa 150k+ na pag time ng mga anak ko.  Mabuti na lang at may emergency loan facility sa bank where hubby works kaya kung kakapusin, may available na funds.  Pero siempre, mas okay kung di na mag-loan loan.

Marose - OA ang Ateneo sa presyo! hahaha Buti na lang hindi ako napadpad sa ex ko. Kung hindi tiyak na dyan nya pipilitin ang whatever anak namin (actually he already said as much...assuming sya, pwe! haha). Galing ni Mommy ni Marose! Hay ako noon gusto ko mag attempt kumuha ng scholarship. Ayaw ng daddy ko. Kasi that time, yung eldest sister ko, nagmamasters sa UCLA. Inutang lang naman ng daddy ko sa lolo uncle ko yun. Eh meron pa silang mga tanong sa STFAP forms na ilan cars ilan airco, etc. Grabe ano? Vineverify daw yun?

Shicks...baka si Destructo hindi uubra sa traditional school.  Eh pag ganun, Maria Montessori ata gusto ko. Hay. Ewan. Bahala na si Lord.

Totoo sabi ni Marose, now worries. God will always provide. Tiis tiis lang talaga.  Pag may kids ka, you learn to do away with so many "wants" .

lia, ngayon ko lang nakita ang pagtanong mo ng feedback about ann arbor montessori. hindi ko nasagot tanong mo sa thread 1 because looking at the date, zombie mode pa ko ng mga time na yun. okay naman sa ann arbor, better than montessori de manila i think (both inside bf). my cousin who went to dlsz and up diliman studied pre-school at ann arbor.
