Hi all..

Mga sissy,snappygal nakuha ko na desisyon ng february,2015 at yung finality april 17 finally sa haba ng paghihintay ko natapos din.. today punta ko kay atty para ibigay yung balance na 50k out of town kasi siya pero nakakuha na ko ng copy sa secretary niya ng friday super excited kasi ko na makita  yung finality lol  ..

Sis snappygal kamusta na yung sa iyo?any news?konting tiis matapos din yan  magkasunod lang naman tayo di ba?pasaan ba at lalabas din yan 3 months ko wait yung desisyon at finality naman 45 days naapektuhan papers ko sa mga public holidays..goodluck sa iyo

Hi all!

I have an ongoing annulment and hopefully will get the decree this year(crossing the finger).

Share ko lang yun step by step na experience ko from the beginning.. filing an annulment is no fun and need lots of patience and understanding otherwise you get crazy on thinkin when it will be over and move on..and no annulment is fly by night it all depends in court that handle your case..what you need here is patience..patience..patience grrrrr

I get the 220k package deal..120 for downpayment(psychiatrist,filing etc etc)
3 sessions with psychiatrist (me and 3 witnesses)
after almost 3 months got the psychiatric evaluation(ugh)
dec.2012 filing in court
may2013 pre-trial (sabi ni fiscal dapat daw tayo na nagfile ng annulment magbilang sa first hearing hindi yun sa filing pra daw di tayo mainip..)
july 2013 trial (2nd payment 50k)
i myself testify in court and 2 witnesses and 2 hearing resets(judge not available and need to wait for my psychiatrist availability ugh)
hearing set every 3-4 months but it case to case basis some takes longer.( mine 4 court hearings)
june 3,2014 last witness my psychiatrist (done trial in court.. exhausted waiting taught she couldnt make it to testify)
I see to it na maka attend ako sa court hearing kahit hindi kailangan ng presence ko.
Sept.16,2014 sa korte ako ulit sabi atty khit di na ako pumunta but will go pra alam ko development ng kaso ko..

I had my sad experience with my previous lawyer who did not attend to my case in 2007. Please ayoko ng maulit ang bangongot na yon because it's taking my hard earned money.

Wow, 26 months. Lagpas 2 years din sis. Okay na pala yung sa friend ko, Jan 2014 ata nag file? Then last hearing na nila I think this May (na postpone na to, dapat March pa), sa Psychiatrist na lang. Ano pa ba after ng hearing na yun? Decision na? So kung makuha nya decision By August, September finality 20 months lang. Bakit pala inabot ng 45 days sis? Di ba 30 days lang normally? Dahil sa Holidays?

AFAIK, there should be decision na within 3 mos after the last hearing. Dati kasi akong nagwowork with lawyers but I don't know with annulment. Haha

@Queen Chokolah^last na yang psychiatrist after that memorandum wait pa ng 2 months bago file sa court ang decision based on my experience pinagbasihan ko lang kasi lahat ng kopya na binigay sa akin ni atty.kaya 45 days? wait availability ni judge na magsign at clerk of court..

 I am annulled both legally and in the catholic church. Just want to share here some tips here esp regarding the church annulment since I see so much WRONG INFO posted here or online, and parang I haven't come across anyone here who has completed the process.

It was MUCH FASTER and MUCH CHEAPER to get my church annulment =) So to anyone who may want to get their church annulment, don't get discouraged by others. You can have it done by as little as 80k. Also you pay fees in minimal installments over the course of time. Lastly, I have profound respect for how the church conducts their investigation and hearings. They are so respectful, merciful, and sensitive during the hearing, unlike in legal courts na grabe mag cross examine minsan ang bastos. There is also only 1 hearing in a church annulment where in you will sit with a panel of 3 canonical judges (3 priests). PLUS it is absolutely free to consult the tribunal courts regarding your case if your arent sure what the grounds you have for the annulment. They will interview you and tell you what could be your grounds. PLEASE do not ask your parish priest as he is NOT an expert. Only a canon lawyer can advise you on what grounds can be used.

As for legal annulment, I am thankfully done with mine but there is already a lot of advice here re that.

question: considered annulled  na ba ang wedding pag nag divorce na kayo sa US? Pwede pa din bang ikasal dito sa pinas kahit di dumaan sa process ng annulment?

background: They were married here in Pinas 2000, then after their marriage they decided to migrate in US.. both parties were US citizens now. Then both parties decided to file a divorce in the US yr 2007.

^You have to get a court ruling here annulling the marriage. They are both US citizens na so technically, Philippine laws should no longer apply to them. But they have documents in the Philippines showing they were married here so if one party wants to be married here sa Pinas, then dapat malinis yung papers nila dito.

This should be a quick and painless process kasi they have papers to prove that US citizens na sila, eh,

sis gaano katagal ang church annulment mo? my cousin's husband was previously married sa church kaya sa civil lang sila nakapagpakasal. gusto ni cousin someday magpakasal din sila sa church but wala silang idea pano ang process and paano sisimulan kasi ang perception ng tao pag sinabing church annulment aabutin ng mga 10 years...

^my church annulment only took about a year. Pero kasi mabilis ko din inasikaso. 1st of all I hired a writer to do my case histoy. Next, my witnesses testimonies were complete within a month. Other cases dito tumatagal kasi. Lastly, the tribunal where I filed only handles a few cases every year-- less than 10. Not like in Manila Archdiocese na super madami. Oh, for my psychological test, (the church will assign you to a priest who is also a psychologist) I made sure na naka-schedule ako kaagad because you need that to be finished before the decision will come out. I really made pakiusap na ASAP my psych test.

It is not true sis na umaabot ng 10 years an church annulment. Usually even in Manila pinaka matagal na siguro 3 years but usually by 2 years tapos na. Sometimes tumatgal ng ganon because di din inaasikaso nung nag file ng case and madami kulang na requirements and documents like baptismal certificate ng spouse etc.

hi mga sis... quick question lang, in process pa rin yung annulment ko and waiting pa rin for the second hearing until now... i wanna buy a house sana through pag-ibig for my parents but im not sure if magiging conjugal yung property since i'm technically still married kasi hindi pa tapos yung annulment? my annulment was filed two years ago and i absolutely have no contact with my ex na... i want full ownership sana if ever bibili ako ng property.. any thoughts?

^ask your lawyer sis. But for me, I played it safe. The properties I bought while I was undergoing annulment I had named under one of my siblings. There was a property though that I bought around the time of my last hearing, and that one I already name after myself, since the turnover of the property was still going to take about 2 years, and by that time, the I would have been annulled already.

Puwede pa habulin yan unless you can produce IDs na under your maiden name.
