Lisa - yun pala tawag dun. Ay naku sis, kahit na crying rooms meron pa din namang walang dalang kids na doon sumisiksik (lalo na mga late). Tapos all they do eh pandilatan ka pag naging fuzzy ang baby. Pero pag ganun, I don't go out nga, eh pang kids/babies nga dun eh. Sila umalis  LOL!

Sam, I ate at Cerchio na.  Okay naman doon.  I like the way it looks.  Masarap din ang food.  Mag-reserve ka na lang to be sure. 

Maui, kay Gel Colet of Swell Sweets ako nagpagawa ng birthday cake this year.  Okay gawa niya, pulido pati taste okay din.  Kaya lang, for pick-up lang siya.  No delivery.  Malapit lang sa amin ang place niya kaya okay lang with me.  Mas mura kasi siya for the cake na gusto ko than Bunny Baker.  Nagpagawa na rin ako dati sa French Kiss, Shoppersville and Yummy Piece of Cake.

Yes Marose, dapat maaga kase as in "no reservation of seats ang drama" - laging ina-announce yan. You know, tayong mga pinoy we love to save seats (example pag ang hubby eh nasa parking pa lang). LOL!

Re  birthday cake - pwede kaya sila gumawa ng 1st birthday cake ni Y? as in, yun talaga sinabe ni hubby! Di naman halata na type na type nya Shoppersville noh? butter cake talaga!

Jen, puwedeng-puwede.  Tingnan mo sa FB albums ko.  Yung 2 cakes for the second birthday na jungle safari ang theme and yung cake na may soccer ball last year sa school party, sa Shoppersville yun.  Yung smaller safari cake, orange cake, yung big safari cake, choco with yema, yung soccer cake, butter cake.  Ayos!

Marose - si Baba referred lang nun ni Robert (Blancaflor). Wag daw ako mag "usual" wedding cake. Sya kasi yung event stylist namin. Tapos sya rin nagsabi na mag dessert buffet kami.  Grabe, pinilahan talaga ng mga guests LOL. Pareho tayo, favorite ko don yung Nono's. Dati yung banana Cream Pie (na favorite ng family ko and ni M), kaya lang parang nagsawa na din ako. I also love her Rum Cake.  Lahat yun sinerve nung buffet.  Dami nyang ininclude haha. Si Baba yung go-to dessert supplier ko pag may kailangan ako bigla (like sa school ni G, gifts or whatever). I just text her tapos pick up ko sa GB5 hehe. 

Naku nagcrecrave ako ngayon  ng sans rival. Pero, bawal na dapat sa akin yun. Double whammy kasi mataas cholesterol ko and sugar LOL.  Ewan, payat naman DAW ako.

Alam mo, dapat talaga may crying room na churches dito sa MM. Kasi pag sa crying room, anything goes, puede rin mag snacks ang kids LOL. Dito, kakahiya minsan pag nagkakalat ang kids eh. Kaya kami di pa namin dinadala unless necessary si I, kasi magulo.  Pero si G, well-behaved sa church even when she was a baby.

Sa village namin, may makeshift playroom sa admin office during Sunday mass.  Sa likod lang ng clubhouse ang admin office kaya malapit lang.  Sa clubhouse kasi ang Mass. Maayos naman, may a/c, playmat, toys, coloring books and snacks pa for the kids. May "teacher" din in the person of one of the admin staff.  Doon ang kids ko kasama ang yaya during Mass.  Pero lately, ayaw nila mag-playroom kasi wala nga ang yaya.  Malilikot sila pero nadadaan sa tingin ng husband ko.  Kaya naman nila mag-sit still kapag Mass.  Ganoon din kapag nasa ibang church kami.  Hindi naman sila umiikot-ikot sa church or maingay pero admittedly, malikot sila minsan kaya napapagalitan ko or ng daddy nila.

Sa grocery sila super likot.  Ewan ko ba.  Favorite place nila ngayon iyan.  May iyakan pa kapag hindi ko sila isinama sa grocery.

Nainggit tuloy ako sa custaroons. Gusto ko dumaan sa sunday pagkagaling shoppersville. Kaya lang baka di naman namin maubos at mapanis lang, sayang naman.

May list na ako ng cakes for b's monthly birthdays. Excuse para dumayo ng masarap na cake. Tagal ko nang di nakakain ng caramel cake whther from estrels or beckys.

Sans rival di ako masyadong mahilig kasi di ko masyado like ang nuts. Mas gusto ko sylvanas.

At naalala ko pala si goodies and sweets! Chocnut ice cream and their decadent cake with caramel!

Usapang cake - usapang dessert. What's your favorite, sa restaurants, not specialty stores that sell cakes? Two of my favorites are the skillet cookie sunday at tony roma's and the pudding at myron's. Hirap niyan, bondat lagi kasi i also love their food. Di pwede salad lang tapos bawi sa dessert.

I love desserts kasi (but i have to cut down kasi nga i'm pre-diabetic) and i am one of those who look at ths dessert menu before i order any starter/main course.

Lisa - Pia y Damaso - Sisa's Dementia!!!  I get demented over that.  Ay naku, o diba pre-diabetic na walang pakialam? pagsisisihan ko yan siguro later on.  Arce ice cream di tumataas yung blood sugar ko.  Gusto ko rin yung Tiramisu sa Cibo. Then the dome cake (alam ko may iba silang tawag) sa Italianni's (but we rarely eat in Italianni's). Baked Alaska sa Mario's.  Pero matagal na akong di nakakain sa Mario's

Rata - oo nga, dapat talaga may ganun na area sa mga churches.

Marose - may A/C din sa crying room ng PP. Actually, buong church airconditioned. Pwera lang syempre yung ibang areas na usually for late comers na. Re cake, nakita ko na Shoppersville bday cake ni M&M. Yes!

Lisa - Favorite ko din ang Caramel cake. Maybe, try ko din yang Estrels

mukhang interesting yung padre pio chapel ah.. may crying room naalala ko tuloy sabi ng mama ko na kelangan ko daw iconfess pati yung times na i let myself get distracted by kids (whether noisy or cute - basta madistract ako) during holy mass.

Pasali sa usapang desserts.  I like the NY cheesecake of Italianni's, molten chocolate cake of Kulinarya (Rockwell), Nocciola and Guianduia gelato of Cara Mia/Amici, cookie dough cheesecake of Momo Cafe/Chelsea Market Cafe (same owner), Baba, Samba, Mango chiboust and Roca of Bizu, turtle pie of Conti's, and many more!  Oh, I love the homemade ice cream at Crowne Plaza's 5 Corners buffet.  Masarap nga ang pudding ng Myron's and Sisa's Dementia.   May masarap na creme brulee pero hindi ko matandaan kung saan ko natikman.

Thumbs down for me if a restaurant has poor dessert selection.  Usually, hindi ako nae-engganyo bumalik.   Generally, hindi ako mahilig sa native desserts like turon, biko, guinataan, maja blanca, etc.   Hindi rin ako mahilig sa sans rival (already mentioned pala), black forest cake and mango bravo. Leche flan gusto ko.  My mom makes excellent leche flan.


Maussie, hindi kami madalas sa Della Strada kasi walang a/c pero type ng kids ang garden doon.  Sa LGV clubhouse kasi may a/c kaya mas gusto namin doon. 
Nagka-GDM ako noong buntis kaya parusa talaga.

Marose - ah ok.    Sa mga simbahan sa village namin (there are 2 close to my parents' house), puro hindi aircon at walang crying room.  So, we dont bring I.  lately lang no choice kasi nga no yaya.  Pero malapit na kami magka-stop gap yaya.  Yung anak ng cook namin ngayon pina-go ko na lang pero sabi ko tempo or at the most probationary kasi may hindi ako gutso na ginawa nya. Tapos sa saturday, my masahista will bring daw her classmate sa nursing aid course para mainterview ko, kaya lang 19 years old pa lang.  Ngek.

Sige, sa mga willing na hanapin ko sila sa FB ati-add ko ( ), pa pm na lang please ng names nyo. Salamat!

Gusto ko rin yung gelato/HM ice cream sa Escolta and sa Paseo Uno, sabay lagay ng choco dip.  Hay.  Diba Bizu, mainly cake shop yun?  But I love their pork trotters.

marose, kakatuwa naman si lovestory nyo   whirlwind romance nakapag order na pala ko kay Handicrafts Atbp nung mini stools.  Ang bait nya kase binigay nya sa kin Php80 each kahit 90 dapat tapos bait nya pa kausap   baka magpagawa din ako ng mini cabinet na mickey mouse.  Check nyo yung website nya sa multiply or FB.  In fairness mura na yung mga items nya.  SA sa taga Sucat lang pala yung house nya malapit sa mga taga South dito.

Like ko sa cibo naman is their panna cotta but my cousin still makes way better panna cota.

Crepes samurai sa cafe jeepney pala! Kahit yon lang kainin ko don happy na.

Rata, yung dome cake sa starbucks naalala ko may similar nga sa italianni's. Masarap din yung dulce de leche ba na cheesecake nila dati.

Di ako mahilig sa cake na may fruits except kung mangoes or strawberries and some berries na din. Blueberries sa blueberry cheesecake di ko like pero kung fresh ok lang. My chef-cousin makes my favorites - crepes samurai, chocolate chip pavlova and panna cota. He used to work sa le souffle so his crepes samurai is ka-tipo non. He also used to work sa gourdo's. Recipe niya yung pavlova don but sometimes di nila makuha yung pagluto ng tama so matigas.

Creme brulee sa c italian dining masarap. And how could i forget the canonigo at alba's and las paellas! My despedida de soltera was catered by albas and nagpa-sobra ako ng canonigo. Love their jamon serrano too. Nung sa alabang pa office ko, i'd sometimes go to las paellas just to get canonigo. And masarap pala yung mango brazo sa kuse sa piazza. Parang mango crepe na ni-roll to look like brazo.

Leche flan - i dont like it pag i can taste the lemon. My cousin (not the chef) makes yummy leche flan din. He makes whenever we have family dinners and we all bring disposable containters for take home. Ayaw na niya magpauwi ng llanera niya kasi di daw namin sinosoli. Hee.

Rata, most of us are fb friends. Friend ko si marose din sa fb. Hanapin kita. May mario's pa ba? We used to frequent the morato branch when i was a kid. We dont hear mass din at the nearby churches, san antonio and mary help, kasi not aircon. We go to magallanes, always for the 1130 mass then eat out na for lunch. Buti so far behaved si b sa church.

Lia, tumawag na ako kay celine kahapon. Sabi update daw nila sa website. In-update nga pero di pa lahat. Wll call again today. Check ko din yung kay jen.

Luz, si weng ang sa makati. Paranaque ako, better living pero condo din. Di pa nakaalis ang box kasi di pa dumadating lahat ng items, may in transit pa, latest eta ng ibang items is may 9. Pwede ka pa humabol pero sana wag masyadong matagal ang eta para makaalis na din agad ang box at excited tayong lahat.
