Pahamak din tong ipad eh, makes it convenient to browse kahit nakagia na.

Yes may PCOS ako. I was diagnosed in 2008. Nung nabuntis ako last year, sabi ng OB wala na daw follicles so mukhang wala na akong PCOS. Kusang nawala daw kasi i stopped taking metformin and pills 2-3 weeks after i was diagnosed. Due ako for check up soon, 6 months after giving birth. Di ko alam kung ich-check niya.

Grabe ang sipag nyo mag post LOL.  Anyway, @emeenem, you can call me whatever you want, rat, rata, cutie, whatever LOL I'm not picky.  :D

Ako noon, with pumping, kahit super konti na lang tyinatyaga ko hahaha (minsan in 1 pump 1oz lang sige pa rin ako). But that's just me.  :D

I also have PCOS (parang rosary daw na nakapaikot) but I have no problems conceiving. My problem is not getting pregnant. Magastos mag pills pala my gosh.  Stop na kasi kami eh, age factor (hirap na kami humabol), plus we have 1 girl and 1 boy na.  I also had GDM in both pregnancies and now have pre-diabetes after the 2nd pregnancy.  Diabates runs in both sides of my family.

Lisa, we used to buy in Rustans and Landmark.  My son loved broccoli!  Even the chinese broccoli pinapatos.  Nung time naman ni G, carrots, potatoes and squash lang meron sa Rustans.  Ngayon marami na organic sa Landmark.

Hi girls!  Puyat pa ko because of the Barca v. RMad game.

;)  Re ADD/ADHD, it's too early to make any conclusion kasi baby pa si J.  Malilikot talaga ang baby boys!  Basta, ang sinabi sa akin ng regular pedia and developmental pedia ng kids ko, no TV, gadgets, etc. before 2 years old and once you expose, limit tv viewing time.  If may pre-disposition to ADD/ADHD kasi nasa lahi, better pang i-delay talaga ang introduction ng tv.  Read books instead.

^Sis, Manila Doctors has a developmental pedia unit.  Ka-block ko nung college yung isang developmental pedia doon. Puro sila UPMed graduates.

Nesz, generally, mas mataas ang PF ng dev ped and it's not usually covered by HMO.  Dr. Tippy Tanchanco's PF for the initial assessment is P2500 or P3000 na yata, for the follow-ups (sa kids ko every 6 or 9 months), P1500 na lang.  What's more challenging is getting an appointment.  A lot of moms in the dev ped thread said that the waiting period is at least 6 months.

Dr. Tanchanco is from UP-PGH too. :)  We chose her kasi she has a clinic at Medical City na malapit sa place namin.

If you want to be pro-active about your child's development,  go ka diyan.  Ask for a referral from your regular pedia. At 11 months old, we had the initial assessment na.  Ayun nga, Milo underwent physical therapy for about 4 months because at 11 months, he was not even crawling yet.  Super thankful ako for the intervention.  If I had done nothing and just waited, the result might have been different.

Some parents I know wait for a while, not realizing that it is also hard to book a slot in a therapy center.  So for me, the earlier you see a dev ped, the better.  Even if you don't see anything amiss in your child's development (of course we moms think our children are perfect), there's no harm going to a dev ped.

lisa those clips were the ones i used too noong bata ako... magka-age group tayo! apir! i remember having hello kitty, my melody, kiki & lala na ponytails.. syempre di na yun na-save kasi mabilis mawala ang mga hair accesories eh..

wow new thread! :)

This saturday magpapa trans-v ako sa In my womb to check na din.

Rat, i want to continue din sana kasi little is better than nothing. but sometimes i get discouraged by how little i get. the past few days, i've been pumping once a day na lang kasi naisip ko i want to stop na. my output ever since naman ang average talaga mga 3-4oz lang, 5-6oz on very rare days, and lately 2-3oz na lang. di ko na ma-sustain her needs kasi she takes 5oz per feeding na now. sometimes we feed what i was able to pump then follow up with formula right after kasi bitin. now naman, we feed her expressed breastmilk every other day na lang para makaipon muna ako ng good for 1 feeding.

pero kahapon, hindi ko kinaya yung discomfort. i pumped at around 8pm the other day then yesterday i pumped when i got home close to midnight na and uncomfortable talaga. so now i will go back to 2x a day na pumping, which is what i have been doing for the past 2 weeks or so.

wala akong napansin na organic veggies in landmark the other day. i want sana apples and pears kasi most everything i am able to get from green grocer naman. ok na din yon kasi i but little lang per week para fresh talaga. at least delivered to my house so convenient. if sa landmark kasi i will buy more frequently.

marose, saan pa ibang clinic ni dr tippy? i will ask for a referral na din sa next pedia visit kung mahirap pala kumuha ng appointment. but medical city is quite far kasi. sana st lukes global city. i will also need to bring b to a pedia ophtha but i dont know what age dapat. i have a lazy eye and very poor eyesight runs in my side of the family. si dr norman fajardo at asian eye is a pedia ophtha and i went to see him kasi he specializes in lazy eyes. i will probably bring b to him din but i don't know at what age i should do this.

lia, bakit mo sinabing meron sa sm makati?  :P as in exactly ganyan yung meron? sa mga SA ng goody na napagtanungan ko di nila alam yung dinedescribe ko eh. uy 17 days delayed. hehe. gusto niya na bang sundan si gianna? ako hindi pa bumabalik period ko. and if it were up to me lang, tama na isang anak lang pero si hubby gusto pa ng isa kasi malungkot daw pag mag-isa lang.

lia and luz, congrats if in case!

nesz, sabi ko nga, okay sana if he himself is willing to adjust and comromise kahit pa ganyan ugali niya. kaso nga, unwilling eh. sabi pa na he doesn't think this is just an adjustment period. tingin niya, lagi ko lang talaga kami nag-aaway or me sadyang inaaway siya. he doesn't want to let go of his buhay binata din. so ayun, it takes two to tango. pareho nga talaga sila. haaayy.. bakit ba ganun? kung ano yung ayaw mo, yun ang napupunta sayo? sabi ko dati in my younger years, my ideal guy is responsible. non-negotiable yun. but now, haaaayyy again. LOL well actually when he started, he was way different. tumanda lang siya ng paurong. dati nung college yun, nagddean's list pa yun at the same time varsity but now... haaayy for the third time. :P

ambilis ng thread. taka ako bakit parang wala masyado bagong update dun sa kabila. yun pala may new thread na!

Lisa, there is a known pediatric optha sa Asian.  We went to her rin before. Most of my friends kasi went to medschool so all my doctors are referred by them.  Alam rin nila na I always prefer doctors from UP.

sana di pa kami buntis kasi mahirapan kami... it will be tight for all of us financially.. and hinde pa kami uli ready...pero kung biniyayaan ok naman.. syempre anak namin yon.. pero i don't think preggers ako.. bili na nga ako ng PT later hahaha!

kim...
palagi kayo nag aaway?

joining!!! lurker mode lang kasi ang daming gawa sa office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

grayce, pwede ba wag ka na mag diet? bwahaha sexy mo nga teh eh!!!!

yun experience ko pala sa elastic bands nakakanipis ng hair. may time na numipis yung bunbunan ni chloe so i stopped using it na. eto yung mga plastic type. yun mga may tela pa pwede. kaya lang dahil nasanay na walang tali sa hair (imagine: Pebbles Flintstone look) ngayon nahihirapan kami na talian yung hair nya. ayaw nya din ng headband. pero amazing, kapag papasok ng school di nya tinatanggal. LOL.

kim, hope you're okay!

re: devped, i suggest schedule one asap. i made some calls a month or two ago ang nakuha kong sched were from July to November na!!!! aning ako e, so nagpasked na din ako, just to be safe. sabi ng mom ko ang OA ko daw, sabi ko naman, best case scenario is sabihin sa king gifted ang anak ko :P keri nang gumastos for that...

Sa Makati Med, may clinic si Dr. Alexis Reyes, the goddess of the developmental pedias.  Dr. Benitez din yata meron sa Makati Med and Asian.  Sila ang nababasa ko sa isang thread.

Yung ophthalmologist ng babies ko si Dr. Pauline Santiago (also from UP).  She has clinics sa Madocs, Polymedic, St. Luke's QC and TMC. Rampant kasi sa super preemies (preemies below 8 months and super low ang birth weight) ang retinopathy of prematurity/ROP that leads to blindness. We chose to continue with the follow-ups.

Maussie, I also prefer doctors from UP.  Even when we use a health card, I would ask for a UP graduate. ;)

Lia and Luz, congratulations if positive talaga!  Babies are blessings from God. :)

Kim, it's hard to have a relationship with someone who does not have the same values and plans.  Mahirap nga kung ganyan ang partner mo.  Pray for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit.
