^ yes sis tama ka, i prefer fluffy light cakes na may cream or chocolate. yung icing na type ko yung parang sa choco mousse hehe.  mahilig din ako sa ice cream cakes..have you tried  their sansrival cake? masarap ba? i'm thinking of tasting their choco campfire too siguro less umay kasi may mallow icing. yung sa grandma kasi sooo chocolatey... pati icing niya choco tapos kaya nag mukhang fudge brownie kasi caramel yung gitna saka siksik yung cake, hehe. chocolate lover's cake talaga siya. masarap din with coffee. pero next time i wanna try something else

Me naman prefers all Choco cake, di kasi ako mahilig as mallow icing.

Forgot to put my review about Purple Oven's choco campfire. I just tasted it last week and it was okay. I'm not that crazy about it . Next time will try Grandma choco cake. I hope this one exceeds my expectations.

saan po sa pasig yung branch nila? sino po may alam kung paano pumunta dun galing dito sa Marikina?

^any ride na dadaan sa shaw blvd. pwede na, hindi ako familiar sa commute pag galing marikina, pero ang alam ko may pasig jeep sa marikina diba? sakay ka nun, tapos pag nasa pasig ka na pwede ka na sumakay ng quiapo/crossing jeep... dadaan yun sa shaw blvd. sabihin mo sa driver bababa ka sa oranbo. sa mismong arko ng oranbo (welcome to oranbo)...ang land mark is BDO bank along shaw na may katabi na david's salon across the street naman may makikita ka na baliwag lechon manok. pag baba mo pasok ka na sa oranbo may makikita ka na dunkin donuts,  walk papunta sa right side may makikita ka na grayish gate near sa dahlia hotel yun na yun. hope this helps

Forgot to put my review about Purple Oven's choco campfire. I just tasted it last week and it was okay. I'm not that crazy about it . Next time will try Grandma choco cake. I hope this one exceeds my expectations.

i suggest you try something else na lang, i'm not a fan of grandma choco cake eh, tasted just like a choco fudge brownie with icing to me... natikman ko na din si campfire nung bday ng friend ko recently, the cake is same with a layer of choco filling ang iba lang yung icing, chocolate icing yung grandma saka may caramel filling, campfire is mallow icing... i love their banoffee pie and banana loaf saka ham and cheese croissant, i'm planning to taste the sansrival cake next time,

@cristyles: depende kasi what cake ang type mo.. Kasi ako personaly nasarapan sa grandma choco cake and campfire. Gusto ko kasi yung brownie type ang consistency n cake, hindi mahangin. Kung type mo yung banoffee sa Starbucks, bili ka ng banoffee pie nila. Dome cake din ata isa sa bestseller nila. Yung choco torte din daw okay sabi naman ng friend ko dati.

^ sis so far banoffee talaga ang winner sa tastebuds ko hehe! saka ham and cheese croissant saka banana loaf ok din... (mahilig sa banana?) hehe! sa cake wala pa eh... na-try ko pa lang kasi grandma choco cake saka yung campfire... mas masarap si campfire for me kahit magkahawig sila...

@u8mypinkcookies - Sis parang mas masarap yung Choco campfire nung 2nd day na siyang nasa ref namin  . Maybe nung 1st day of tikim ko dahil nasapawan siya ng Krispy Kreme Donuts na binigay sa amin. Uber tamis kasi ang Krispy Kreme.

Back to Purple Oven's Choco Camp fire , mas naappreciate ko siya nung 2nd day. And ito bibilhin ko sa Christmas day para matikman ng mga cousins ko and relatives namin.  I will try next time their Grandma's choco cake.

^ kami pag bumibili, derecho sa ref and the following day pa kinakain (lahat kasi ng instances na bumili kami, late afternoon pick-up tapos wala gusto kumain ng cake na di malamig after dinner), madalas yung cake uumpisahan namin sa breakfast tapos may brewed coffee mas okay sya nga pag tumagal. Haha mas buo yung cake and icing. It's not the type na nagiging dry habang tumatagal. Di rin matamis pag cold e, sa panlasa ko ah

super lapit lang nito samin, pero never ko pang natry pastries nila. How much ba range ng cakes nila dito. Ideas naman mga sis. TIA!

more or less 600  yung choco cakes (grandma and campfire), pero cheesecakes mas mahal nasa 700+ yata...

parehas lang ba ang sponge cake ng grandma's & choco dome? gusto ko sana itry ang dome kaso parang sawa pa ko sa chocolate ng grandma's. ok ba cheese cake nila? comparable ba sa secret recipe?

btw, masarap lemon bars nila. tangy at lasang lasa mo lemon at gats or cream medyo matamis nga lang for my taste pero masarap. texture wise moist sya at nagccrumble nman base.
