Yes sis, i already got the contract. We've booked them last Feb pa ata. Remaining balance should be paid 3 days before the event and now niremind ulit nya kami after I sent the final list to be played during our wedding day. Mabilis ba sya magreply? Medyo naiinis lang ako na di pa din pala settled yung male singer or female singer na add on kasi ang tagal nila magreply pag nag eemail ako. Hai

Ah ok.  kung un ang nakalagay sa contract mukhang yun ang agreement nyo sis.  Si merjohn ba kausap mo?  Oo matagal siya magreply kasi sobrang busy ata nya.  Minsan naiinis din ako pero tiyagain mo lang sis.

Sis yannuh.. depende sa contract and credibility ng supplier sis.. you can always request naman to pay them on the day if you don't feel comfortable settling the balances in advance.

My suppliers did not request to be paid in advance but I paid them in full 1 week before the wedding. Again, it depends on the integrity of such. Some girls won't do the same but I find this very handy especially na ako and si hubby lang ang nakakakilala ng suppliers namin since hands on kami sa wedding. After the reception, wala na kaming iniintindi na babayaran.. we had enough time to chat with guests rather than spend the rest of the night counting money and paying the suppliers. Ang toxic non. Unless you assign someone trustworthy to do the job. Coordinators maybe?

^thanks sis belle!:) try ko nga sila iask if ok lang otd ko na isesettle. Mejo nadala kami sa mobile bar na sinettle namin in full sa 1 wedding fair last year and now ang hirap hagilapin. Sana macontact namin sila ulit haha!

Omg sis I hope mahagilap nyo na sila!! If not, contact the organiser of the bridal fair you've attended and sabihin nyo na lang what happened. Or baka may updated details sila ng supplier nyo.

I highly recommend our ensemble during our ceremony and reception. We paid 23k for quartet (violin, double bass, piano and flute) plus the male singer. Musicians of Impressions Music Ensemble are ALL conservatory graduates. Apparently, the managing director do not accept musicians na hindi graduate ng conservatory and their musicians are exclusive to their group..as in hindi tumutugtog sa iba. The singers are classically trained.. so imagine na lang during our reception.. ang galing talaga! I remember the guests applauding the singer for his powerful voice.. not to the point naman na nasa kanya na ang attention. I knew well that the guests enjoyed their preformance.

Is your singer a male or female? That's what you will consider lang naman sis.. the songs as much as possible should fit the singer din but otherwise, good job!! Enjoy choosing your song list.. I chose my favorite male love songs nung kami kaya even if I was busy at the reception, the other ear was reserved for our ensemble. Hahaha!

Bzbee, I got so OC with my song list too! It literally took me months to come up with the final list.

Bernie Pasamba gave me hundreds of songs to choose from. I had to research the lyrics and listen to ALL of the songs (even those that I already know just so I would have peace of mind) and weed out those that I didn't like and didn't fit the wedding I had in mind. Then I had to re-read the lyrics and listen to all the songs that made the first cut, arrange them in a certain order just so I can come up with the final list.

The effort was worth it! I don't know if any of the guests noticed that there was a certain theme and a very particular order on how the songs were played, but I smiled every time I heard how beautiful the songs were and remembered the painstaking process of choosing them. hehe.

Hi mga sissies! Want to ask some help regarding strings for reception. We're working on if mag hire kami ng strings or we will just rely on the sound system and operator then mag give nalang kami ng playlist.

My questions are, if mag hire kami ng strings, we're currently discussing with Symphony Rhythm Strings for their rates na, and he kept on saying na unli songs na daw sila all-throughout the reception hours. So meaning if ganun, no need na mag bigay pa kami ng lists of songs sa sound system operator? What if may mga songs choices that are hype for example sa grand entrance ng ento / couple na dapat sasayaw? Si strings narin ba ang bahala dun?

If someone could explain furthermore kung ano ano nagaganap during reception from cocktail until the end, please po I need your help mga sissies! hehe!

Hi sis based sa weddings that I've attended, the strings will be your background music, like during cocktails and such and during dinner din. Para hindi puros usap and glass clinking ang naririnig. During the couple's entrance, they could also play your entrance song, unless you want a livelier song, or a certain song na hindi kaya ng strings. Mga past weddings na I've attended, they had strings but during their couple's dance they also opted for mp3 songs na were already mashedup for their dance. Hope this helps

@bzbee we had MPO rin for our wedding ceremony and reception last may. no regret of getting them. everyone were amazed. I love how the singer sang my bridal march, everyone were crying.. haha.. they also did very well at the reception...

they will provide you a list of songs, like hundreds of them.. haha

sis lourd3ss Manila String Machine starts at 20k for the basic string quartet, then additional 5k for the singer. 5k for every additional instrument. That's church and reception rate.
