We booked libante strings from a few that our coordinator suggested. I just saw their videos in youtube, and malinis sila tumugtog. I was thinking of getting a band pa pero we already paid 20k+ plus for the string quartet, so baka DJ nalang pang party.

i booked the orchestra that's playing in manila pen's the conservatory/upper lobby. however, quartet lang kinuha ko. naka package sila at 26k with my OTD

Coordinator recommended Bernie Pasamba and String Ministrels (also from the Pasamba clan). Too old school for my taste eh.

Next choice is Da Capo na pala. I wanted a bigger ensemble sana, like a sextet or octet. 

Toodee, do you have a copy of their repertoire? I want a mix of modern and some classics (for the oldies)

vain kixie, they have 2 teams kasi baka they can be combined though not sure how much it will cost. i have heard them play in chocolate kiss and in a bar in fort, ok naman.

try mo libante, i know they have contemporary songs but if you want kasi a group that can sound like a band without the drums and base, da capo na talaga.

if you want mas classical, manila philharmonic i think is ok din. my friend got them eh and she was happy naman.

we got impressions. im good with quintet with 2 singers. kaso soon to be groom wanted double quartet. nabasa daw kasi nya sa WaW primer na it depends on the simplicity of the event and number of guests. so i said,.. alright then..
