yes, vinasun nga pala yung name ng reliable taxi...correct ka diyan sis...:-) kasi kami nung pumunta ng vietnam, nagpasundo kami sa hotel, pero, hapon kami dumating naman dun, PAL kasi yung sinakyan namin...di ko talaga feel mag-cebu pac kahit mura lang ang fare, naiirita ako sa oras ng pagdating eh...:-)

Once din kami sumakay ng taxi and that was going to the airport. We got the bigger Vinasun taxi and it cost us 150,000 dong including the 10,000 toll. I am not sure if the Vinasun sedans cost cheaper though, I was really raining the other day so yun na kinuha namin, I was expecting 80K-100K kasi. Pero di naman kami niloko, Vinasun is the way to go talaga. We stayed at Luan Vu Hotel near Pham Ngu Lao, recommended siya though they don't fetch guests from the bus stop (we came from Cambodia), while it is an easy walk from the Mekong Express bus stop, parang mas mahirap when you have luggage with you and especially since it is the first time walking around the area. Since it is situated in an alley it also downs the noise from the bars around the area.

Hi Girls, anyone going to HCM this july? my friend and I will be there from Jul1-5. We are still finalizing our IT. haha super late na kami diba.. I already emailed Mr. Chanhn about the availabilty for our hotel accomodation at para sa ibang tours sana magreply siya agad.

correct sis! eto nga at naooverwhelm ako sa pagbasa ng email niya at ang haba. ang dami ko kasing tanong kaya ganun. ang galing nasagot lahat. bongga! too bad wala ng available rooms doon sa trip namin. pero sabi niya we can leave our luggages pag kukuha kami ng tour sa kanila.

I have some questions pala sis. kung mag 1 day tour sa PP, paano yon? I mean san ka bababa from bus? from bus san kami pupunta? kasi balak namin killing fields saka i forgot the name of the place hehe basta yun.. yun lang puntahan namin then midnight bus from PP to SR na kami. paano kami pupunta dun sa mga places sa PP?

Then pag asa SR na kami, san kami ibababa ng bus? kasi asa SR kami ng umaga, mag 1 day tour din kami. ano mga dapat puntahan namin at panu pumunta dun sa mga iyon? by midnight kasi travel kami to HCM eh.

Grabe! hectic! haha short lang kasi kaya lagari talaga.. iniisip ko sa bus na talaga ang tulog namin. buti na lang masandal tulog kami pareho ng friend ko haha..

sorry po ah, dami questions. sa jul1-5 na kami at wala pa kami finalized IT. at least [textspeak!] cu chi tour half tour kay Mr chanh kami kukuha 6dollars daw. after nun city tour na lang..

ay eto po pala IT na naisip ko based sa mg ITs niyo..

day 1 -arrived HCM 12:20 am (eto nakalagay sa ticket namin, is this PHL time? so kung sa vietnam ang arrival namin talaga eh 1:20 am? tama ba? delayed sila 1 hour)
day 2 - cu chi tour till 2pm
            city tour
day 3- HCM to PP -city tour
          midnight bus to SR
day 4- SR tour
          midnight bus to HCM
day 5 - arrive AM in HCM
           can we start mekong delta tour by afternoon mga 1-2pm?
           our flight back to manila is 1am (un asa ticket namin, same question po dun sa day 1 hehe)

^baka Off Topic na kasi about Cambodia mo ang sasagutin ko... Re tours in PP we got one from where we stayed sa Fancy GH. We tried haggling sa streets for a tuktuk to bring us to s21 ang cheung ek (kiiling fields) but the rates were higher than the offer in the guesthouse plus the people can't speak good enough English so we decided to go back to the hotel and take the usd16 tuktuk ride offered to us to those two places plus a side trip to the Russian Market.

From SR, may biyahe ba ng bus pag gabi to HCM? saka anung bus liner? Sabi ni Mr Chanh wala daw night bus trip from SR to HCM. pero nakikita ko sa IT eh meron naman..

^meron but it is just not worth it because not only is it dangerous but you will have to wait for the borders to open for the formalities...so mas mahaba din ang trip. We took the day trip via Mekong Express to HCMC.

Mga sis,san mkakabili ng authentic north face bags? Si bf kasi triathlete ab nagpapabili ng dalawa. Magkano ba dun? Siguro naman mas mura kaysa dito haha san po makakabili and paano po pumunta doon?
Then saan maganda magshopping na mura? Nabasa ko kasi dito ang gulo sa ben than market at overprice sila. Saan po ang ok? And baka po may list kayo ng mga masarap kainan hehe sorry,nagBR ako kaso wala ako masyado nakita.. or baka hindi ko napansin haha sorry.. saka how much talaga taxi to district 1? Kasi hindi kami magavail ng airport service ng hotel eh.kaso nababasa ko marami manloloko na taxi. Just in case lang at least alam namin ang price going to hotel. Kasi if magkalapit lang sa 14dollars ni mr chanh,eh doon na lang kami.. hehe tia!

Will be spending 4 days in Vietnam. 3 days in HCMC and 1 day (overnight) in Mui Ne. I plan to buy 735,000 VND/pax (or approximately $36) upon our arrival in HCMC airport. Too much or too little?

Will be using the VND to pay for:
cab fare for city tour
entrance fee sa War Remnant Museum
1 or 2 sled rides in Mui Ne
Tips
600,000 VND for food (budget for 150,000 VND a day for lunch dinner and snacks, we have free breakfast)

I understand that they also accept dollars so dollars na yung for hotel, tours and bus rides. Would appreciate your inputs.

Hello girls, planning to go to hcmc vietnam pero 1 full day lang then alis na kami ulit to another country.
We only have 1 full day. Ano kaya pwede gawin? actually gusto ko lang magshopping ng north face and eat chao long hehe like the ones in palawan though i doubt kung mas swak ang bona's in palawan for our taste. ANyway, sa 1 full day i want to just check out notre dame ,cathedral, shopping and kaya ba ang mekong delta tour or city tour? I want to skip the cu chi tunnel na eh. Ano pa po marecomend nyo? Thanks in advance sa magrereply.

What if we only have morning until 63pm to tour ho chih minh. Ok lang kaya if we just do the cu chi tunnel, notre dame and bin tanh market? Dito ba may north face bag?

^yes sis , ok lang na you start with cu chi, then notre dame and bin tanh market...mas ok nang mauna yung cu chi niyo, kaso medyo malayo siya from downtown...

^thanks for your reply sis. I am planning to do this, pacheck naman po if okay. My flight is at 8pm so dapat by 6pm nasa airport na ko. Planning to go to the ff places:
1.  Ciao dao temple - ilang oras ba ang tour nito.
2.  Reunification palace
3.  Notre dame cathedral
4.  Bentanhmarket
Kaya ba to ng whole morning? Gusto ko sana kasi isingit si Dai Nam ng morning. Di ko lang alam kung kukulangin ang time namin. Paadvise naman po. Thanks!

Paconfirm din po if totoo ba talagang 20 mins lang ang ben tanh from the airport. Plus what hotels ang recommended near ben tanh na safe.

^The Cao Dai Temple + Cuchu Tunnels tour takes 1 whole day sis. Scrap nalang Cao Dai if you plan to see Reunification Palace and Notre Dame... Tapat lang ng Notre Dame Cathedral ang Post Office. Drop by, na rin.
