we were there may of last year. hmmm...mainit siguro pero di naman siya ganong mainit para sa kin. keri lang. just bring comfortable clothes.

ang hirap pala iniisip kasi namin ni bf kung magbook kami sa 1 hotel na malapit sa airport then the next day, check out kami at sa hotel sa District 1 kami magstay. palagay ninyo mga sis, mas ok kaya yun? para kasing nakakatakot magtaxi ng gabi eh medyo malayo pa yata ang District 1 from the airport?

^ district 1 is only around 20mins from the airport. if takot kayo mag taxi ng ganung time, you can ask the hotel/guesthouse where you're staying and inquire about airport pick-up.

malapit lang ang district 1 sis...and yes, ganyan talaga ang trip ng cebu pac sa vietnam...kaya nga kami nag-PAL...mas comfortable ang oras...:-) tama si sis london, magpa-pick up ka na lang sa hotel niyo from the airport, mura lang naman...

naku thank you sa inyo mga sis! tama, mas mabuting magpapick-up na lang kami sa hotel. Sa may District 1 kasi kami magstay para malapit sa lahat ng pupuntahan. Ito yung nagawa kong itinerary mga sis.

natoxic ako sa Day 1 AM mo sis (Cu Chi) ... but if you're the type who can still be energetic after the flight, i think ok naman na yan...

im thinking kasi, mag tour muna kayo sa city sa day 1 AM para flexi time kayo. Pag yung tour kasi ang ginawa mo sa Day 1, try to take into consideration the possible events that can take place like delayed flight, late pick-up by hotel (which is least possible to happen), etc. Earliest dating nyo sa dist 1 without delay sa flight or sa hotel pick-up service is around 0145

^yikes!! oo nga sis hindi ko pa naconsider yun baka hindi na pala kami makapag Mekong Delta kung ganun. Or siguro mamimili na lang kami kung Cu Chi Tunnel or Mekong Delta sa 2nd day. Siguro mag City tour and Water Puppet na lang pala kami sa 1st day. kainis naman kasi ang flight schedule ng Cebu Pac thanks sis

mga sis $200 kayang pocket money ok na? bali 4,000,000 VND na yun di ba? 2 kami 4 days stay. TIA

@sis herroyalbleakness: Thanks for pointing that out. Kelangan nga ng energy for Cu Chi Tunnels so I guess I have to move it to another day. Pareho kami dapat si sis fruitypop na Cu Chu sa Day 1 (day after the red eye flight).

Parang walang half-day na Mekong Delta tour no? Medyo bakante yung Day 1 ko.

My itinerary:
Day 0 - Depart PH
Day 1 - HCMC. City Tour.
Day 2 - Travel to Mui Ne. Explore the beach. Overnight in Mui Ne. 
Day 3- Mui Ne Sunrise tour. Explore sand dunes. Bus back to HCMC after lunch.
Day 4 - Cu Chi Tunnels. Pasalubong/shopping
Day 5 - bus to Phnom Penh

mga sis, walang half day na mekong delta tour kasi malayo pa ang pupuntahan niyo kung san magsiismula nag tour. travel time pa lang halos half day na.

try nyo mag book for an afternoon Cu Chi Tunnel tour. Alam ko 2-6PM yun (around 1pm pick-up time).

Payong kaibigan sa mag Cu-Cu Chi: wag kayo mag sleeveless at magdala ng pagkalaki laking dslr at the same time.

My experience: ok, mainit sa siyudad, edi nag sleeveless ako. dinala ko rin ang may pagka-bulky  camera ko para makunan ang historic Cu Chi Tunnels. Ayun, paglabas ng masikip na tunnel, gasgas galore and braso at shoulders ko dahil pinrotektahan ko ang camera when we crouched and slid off inside the tunnel.
