^dyan din kami tumira. okay yung place, kaso walang elev. so kung may luggage ka, bubuhatin mo paakyat ng stairs 

mabait yung receptionist na lalaki na parang bading. nakalimutan ko na ang name niya! also try niyo yung pho quynh (?) na kainan, nasa kanto lang

sa bich duyen din sis, walang elevator...basta pag sa backpackers area, wala talagang elevator...nung una nasa 2nd flr kami, pero nung bumalik kami from cambodia, nilagay kami ni chanh sa 5th floor yata yun, kung pwede lang igulong yung mga maleta, eh igugulong namin...:-) pero ok lang naman kasi tinulungan naman kami ni chanh sa pag-akyat...:-)

yup, its better din na magpasundo na lang kayo...kami rin nun, nagpagsundo din kami sa hotel...

sa bich duyen din kami sa Nov.  I specifically asked them for 2nd floor I said I can't climb high stairs for health reasons

pa help naman idetermine kung ano ang may bayad at magkano at feasible ba puntahan on the

^sis, you check Xuan Mai hotel, may elavator sila & halos same rate w/ bich duyen.  They also have good reviews sa trip advisor.  I stayed there when I went to vietnam.

^is that different from mai hotel? dun naman kami. i was bent on bich duyen din pero fully booked na sila on our date. tapos hubby didn't want to stay sa pham ngu lao area naman. sya din nagresearch sa trip advisor kaya mai hotel binook nya.

Not sure sis if they the same, maybe.  Basta mas like ko pa magstay sa Xuan Mai than a regular hotel ( we also stayed at Saigon Hotel) there coz they are more accomodating and they go out of the way to please there guest.

Mui Ne looks really interesting! Sayang we're only staying for 3 daYs sa vietnam. I don't know nga what we're gonna do sa 3rd day. hehe.

Hello po. Has anyone tried the Mekong Travel  or the Delta Tour as tourist operator for the Mekong Delta tour and Cu Chi tunnel. I'm wondering what  to get kase between the two. Thanks!

Mui Ne is a must!  On the way to Mui Ne you can also see the ruins in Phan Thiet...  Here are some photos we took during our trip:

If you ask me, Id rather spend 2 days in Mui Ne and 2 days in Saigon than spend let's say, a whole 4-day stay in Saigon =)

I want to do that too because we'll be in Vietnam for 4 full days. any recommendations as to where we can get travel arrangements to Mui Ne?

Thanks AnGeL06!  You can email our guide Jason at jasonrockstarguide@yahoo.com ü He is also highly recommended on tripadvisor.  On our first day in vietnam, we availed of his cu chi tunnels tour and city tour, left for mui ne on our 2nd day, returned to saigon after lunch on the 3rd day, and spent the fourth day at our leisure 

There are also buses from saigon to mui ne but having your own car and driver is so much more convenient and can save you time.  You can stay longer or shorter in one place if you want to.  No schedules to follow  Vietnam is relatively cheap so you can have that luxury without spending a fortune!  His rates would come out even cheaper per person if there are more people in your group.  In our case kasi, there were only 3 of us who shared the cost. (but it still came out very reasonable)

only. mekong delta tour sa kanila din namin kinuha.

for our cuchi tunnel tour we booked from hanh cafe naman. was looking for sinhtourist din kaso it was raining when the bus arrived (from siem reap) so yung unang napuntahan namin dun na nagbook si hubby. $6. i felt na mahal kasi ang alam ko $5 lang dapat pero since umuulan nga at wala kaming payong binook na ni hubby. ayos naman yung tour. saka magaling yung guide.

Thanks for that. Yan nga rin lagi sinasabi sa nababasa ko. Yun nga lang when we inquired kay Mr. Chahm pf Bich Duyen
nirecommend niya yung Delta Tour. Yun yata official tour operator ng Bich Duyen. hehe.

kami kasi, sa bich duyen na ang nag-arranged, for the cu chi...di ko matandaan kung how much na yun, pero mura lang naman siya...may isa kaming kakilala, mismong pumunta sila dun sa nagto-tour, kaya mas mura yung bayad nila...isa lang yata ang nagha-handle nun...

^isa nga lang yata ang naghahandle. kasi yung sa amin pick up pick up pa yung coaster around pham ngu lao..and when the guide was collecting the entrance fee i heard this other group saying that they already paid that daw. eh sabi nung guide wala daw binigay sa kanya and wala din nakalagay sa OR so ask na lang daw nung mga yun dun sa nag-arrange ng tour nila kung nasan yung binayad nila...kaya be aware na din mga sis if you book the cu chi tunnel tour na pag sinabing inclusive na yung entrance fee eh make sure nakalagay sa OR nyo yun. otherwise madodoble kayo ng bayad.

We're here na in vietnam kaya lang i got sick kaya hubby and i are stuck sa hotel. Kawawa. went to ben tanh market earlier, parang palengke hehe. Kaya lang nahilo ako kaya we went back sa hotel. We're checked in at nguyen khang. Nice naman at malinis. Medyo maliit un rooms pero for the price naman, keri na. sayang lang kasi mukhang d talaga ako mkakalabas today. Hopefully by tom, ok na ako kasi we're doing cu chi tunnel.
