Hi mga sis! I'm just wondering if anyone here has thought of having a Church wedding pero civil wedding ang set up? like sa church parin ang ceremony pero no entourage,just the immediate family and close friends tapos reception is sa restaurant? nagrerequire ba ang church na dapat may entourage, gowns, etc.? your advice is most appreciated. TIA!

sis, this is still considered as church wedding kahit walang entourage merong church na tumatanggap na kahit wedding rites only. a bit cheaper pa. at saka kahit ata naka white lang pwede na. yun ang sabi ng MIL ko dati kasi kinasal daw sila ng father in law ko ko na wala ng arte at ngayon na lang daw me ganyang entourage :p

Thanks sis, naisip na din namin kasi ni h2b na simple at intimate lang talaga yung wedding kasi depende naman samin paano siya magiging memorable, mas maiigi na rin daw na simple lang, para yung matitira sa ipon namin ay magamit sa pagbukod at iinvest sa ibang bagay. akala ko hindi siya pwede, mas panatag na loob ko ngayon. Sis kikay_machine, parang tagal mong nawala sis. hehe ako din busyness sa work. ilang weeks na rin kaya natigil sa pagsearch search. pero lurker mode din dito sa GT. hehe Iniisip ko nga na baka pwede fake flowers na lang para matatago ko pa bouquet ko. - parehas tayo sis, parang gusto ko fake flowers para matago ko pa. kaso gusto ko din fresh flowers magamit ko during the wedding. so i'm thinking of having it copied with the same type of flowers and colors, kung pwede yung ganun. hehe

I'm very happy to be a Tagaytay December 2013 bride. Hindi naman ako takot sa 13 kasi Friday 13th pinanganak ang h2b ko. So i don't think malas ang 13 saakin. Share ko lang na Church pa lang ang na booked namin, i'm very indecisive kasi, di ko alam kung saan ang ok na reception. Well anyway, good luck sa preps girl!

Hello, sis mald1ta! oo, super busyness sa work din kaya di na makapag-GT, e. Pasilip-silip lang minsan. Decided na talaga ako to DIY my bouquet, and pati yung flower wands and baskets ng entourage and FG. We went to Divi yesterday, and ang dami talaga sa Tabora ng mga pang-DIY, nakaka-overwhelm! We bought fake flowers na mukhang baby's breath and asters, tiny lilies, moss, twigs, abaca strings, burlap, etc.  Medieval fairy woodland kasi yun theme namin so puro ganun yun gusto kong flowers. Sa Divi Mall naman may nakita kami na nagbebenta ng brooch. So nanghoard kami ng brooch kasi gusto ko ng brooch bouquet with tiny white flowers, pati yung brooch for ninongs and ninangs bumili na rin kami. So hindi typical na bulaklak at dahon yun brooch nila...kulay gold with pearls and crystals. At least, magagamit pa nila ulit.

Sis pinkwing, san ang church mo.. I've been in Sonya's Garden last year ata, gusto ko sana dun ang wedding kaso ang layo pero ang ganda kasi.. San ang church mo sis?

sis Ariahs anong month ang wedding niyo? mas ok siguro sis if now pa lang simulan na ang pagbook ng suppliers. ako kasi sept. next year din pero almost all major suppliers is already booked.. search ka na din kung ano mga theme and motif mo para we can suggest here in GT, basa basa ka na din ng mga ideas here sure na sure ako maraming maitutulong yun sayo..

Hi Sis ariahs! welcome dito GT! Tama si sis czy, i also think kailangan niyo na magbook kahit yung major suppliers muna.. para sure na sa date ng wedding niyo and to lock the price na rin.. Happy preps!

ask ko lang, how many months ang ideal na preparation/bookings and all before your wedding. we're not yet sure about the date, pero hopefully next year. alangan pa kasi kami kung anong month kasi baka abutan ng tag-ulan.

for 2013 brides, since when did you start your preps? kaya ba ng 6-8 months? TIA

^Kaya naman Depende lang talaga if you have specific preferences, especially sa church, venue, and suppliers. If meron, hindi enough ang 6-8 months. HTH!

Sis leynathan, kaya yan.  Bastan unahin ninyong i-book ang church, reception venue, caterer, photographer and videographer. All the rest will follow. Kami less than 5 months to go na lang and ang dami pa naming DIY projects, pero we're positive na matatapos namin lahat yun. Happy preps!

i have this perception kasi na ang kakayanin lang ng 6 months preps e pag malaki ang budget. paano ba mag price increase ang mga suppliers? para ba silang may cut-off per year or basta if you have your bookings a year earlier e mas mura?

will there be a price difference kung magpa reserve ako a year earlier at mag pareserve 6 months ealier, pero same date lang or it just depends on the availability for that date? TIA, natataranta lang. haha.

Super late reply ako. Haha! nasa 400 ata yun kasama na yung pinagbibili kong beads and designs.. Pero gagamitin ko din yung mga yun for the pillows etc.

Hindi naman sis, kaya naman siya actually. Ang problem lang kapag may gusto kang supplier tapos hindi na available for the date of your wedding. Ang advantage lang talaga ng early prep and early bookings is para masure na you get what you really want for your big day. Mablock yung date and malock yung price. It depends din kasi, yung ibang supplier yearly magtaas ng rates, yung iba naman depende sa schedule and sa demands sa service nila.. More than a year ang preps nmin ni h2b, pero hindi naman lahat booked na. Yung importante lang talaga inuna namin..
