di ko sure sis pero feeling ko naman sinasabi lang nila yun na bawal, pero kapag inallow ng priest eh pwede na. kasi may nabasa talaga ako na pwede naman daw.

hermione28 baka naman sis bawal, tapos pwedeng makiusap. i suggest sis na pick a church na sobrang feel na feel mo from day 1 pa lang na nakita mo at nakipagtransaction ka sa mga tao sa church.  Iba kasi yung tipong gusto mo yung isang supplier pero may pag-aalinlangan.

Dukhang Adbentura sis kung di mo keri mag-design ng gown, hanap ka na lang ng gusto mong peg sa internet para mas maganda di ba, tapos ipagaya mo na lang sa mananahi mo. although shempre ibagay mo rin yung design sa body type mo My 2 pegs are from Vera Wang, ipapagaya ko na lang sa kung sinong makukuha kong couturier, although i know in my heart na go na talaga ako kay Carmen Lazaro

update:
nakapagpabook na kami sa rejectkrew and papareserve na rin kami sa Ma del's. buti na lang talaga nacheck namin ma del's. SObrang natuwa ako sa Anj. Masarap na food tapos ang bait nya pa.

At mabuti na pumayag  father ni h2b yun kunin namin caterer ma del's, nagandahan kasi sya sa set-up.

^^ Buti ka pa sis, may caterer na. Kami naman hindi kami makapag-food-tasting kasi sa Batangas talaga kami maghahanap ng caterer. Eh pareho kaming Manila-based kaya ayun, ni isang food-tasting, wala pa kaming napupuntahan. Yung reception venue namen nagki-cater, but we wanted to try their food first before availing them di ba. Kahit ba waved na ang venue rental, kung di naman masarap ang pagkain.

Bukas, magpapa-reserve na kami ng date kay Carmen Lazaro. Sha talaga ang binabalik-balikan kong couturier! Pag may nahahanap ako, lagi kong kino-compare sa caliber nya kaya sha na talaga. Ang hanap ko naman ngayon aside from couturier eh designs ng mommy gowns At pag pumayag si h2b, yung tutugtog samen. Kasi madami kaming music-lover friends, type nya sila na lang. eh ang kaso hindi naman sila... alam mo na, iba yung magaling kumanta sa mahilig kumanta hehe

@kristelvillar, I saw Carmen Lazaro's works and you're right, iba ang caliber. I've been checking wedding gowns online for plus size brides and unfortunately they all look.... errr... too matronly for a 26-year old bride. Then I came across Carmen Lazaro's website! Parang may lukso ng dugo. haha! May I ask how much she charged you for your gown?

di na kami mag strings sa wedding. bale Rejectkrew na bahala. I saw yung set up nila sa Marc 2000. Ang ganda nga, naimagine ko nga pag gabi mas maganda. hehe. goodluck sis pag paghahanap nyo caterer at musician.

hello mga sis. i've been a lurker for a while. fiance and i are looking at a date in december pa. dapat bang magbook ako now? or is it too early pa naman? although i have suppliers in mind naman, worry ko lang kasi if i book too early then wala pa naman kaming fixed dated, baka mas mapamahal lang kami?

payo ko sis, unahin nyo muna i-set yung date nyo, budget at saka kung anong type ng ceremony (if church or garden). pag may date na kayo, saka nyo puntahan yung church na gusto nyo if available pa yung date nyo.

if nasecure nyo na yan sis, i think pwede na kayong magsimula magpabook. at mas ok na mas maaga, kasi ma-ilock nyo yung price ng suppliers.

thanks sis! happy preps to you too hay i guess di pa talaga kami makaka-start kung walang fixed date. we're just looking at having a civil ceremony then reception na so wala na talagang church. tapos just now sabi ni h2b sa october nalang kami ikasal. ang gulo na...

btw, sis do you think a 400k budget would be enough? sorry ha wala kasi talaga akong alam dito..

your budget 400k actually depends on your chosen suppliers and number of guest. so perhaps as a suggestion, dapat me date na kayo. then followed by checking the availability of church and venue. the rest will follow... it is also good to book early para malock in nyo ang price ng suppliers

i think 400k is more than enough (pero sakin lang yun ha? hehe). depende yan kung dami yung guest. and if gusto mo bongga sis. kung nagtitipid kayo, madami maiitutulong tong GT.

Samin ni h2b, church wedding kami. 250-300k ang budget for 150 guests.

hope this helps sis. basta pag may question ka lang. tanong ka lang dito sa GT. daming sis na tutulong sayo.

chicness11 Sis, in my opinion, kelangan nyo na mafinalize ang date ng wedding nyo. Marami kasing nagpapakasal ng december and january, so baka yung mga suppliers na nagustuhan mo, hindi na available. i read on most magazines na pag december wedding, usually you have to allot a year of preparing kasi nga agawan na yan sa suppliers. hope it helps.

Mga sis, can you recommend a good videographer na maliwanag and usual HD cams? 30K budget ko. Starting from scratch sa videographer. As i have said on another thread, i got problems with my first pick (naka-reserve na kami don), and h2b wanted a new one. thanks!

Thanks sis we're looking at 120 guests lang and civil ceremony. Pero ang problem namin is the venue. Medyo particular kasi kami dun. The last venue we checked was 250k pero open tab na daw yun. Parang di naman justified yun price...
