@sassy_gal18, is the gay vet you're referring is sa VIP Alabang nakaduty? Please don't tell me sya rin ang nag attend sa black furball ko, who also died because mali ang diagnosis nya. I really hate that gay but right now find myself visiting this thread because I have no other choice but bring my yellow furball again because she's limping. Our local vet referred us actually to Drs. Sicam but unavailable ang xray machine nila so we have to find a clinic who can do this.

Last time I posted here kokonti pa lang ang horror stories sa VIP, but now andami na. I called yesterday din kahapon to ask for a schedule kay Doc Nielsen since he was the one rin naman who operated sa isang leg ng yellow ko. But lo and behold, the receptionist told me by schedule and first come, first serve pa. So hassle for me since we still have to travel 1-2 hours para lang makapunta sa Alabang branch nila. and then ganun pa. Tsss.

gusto ko service nila mabilis umaksyon inabot ang 1500 check-up, and xray kasi may fresh blood ang poopoo ng dog ko. kaso ngayon malayo na samin nayon ang VIP

My second visit to VIP was yesterday. I loved my first when Dr. Kim was the one who handled my pets. They were very calm around her and I loved how she played and interacted with my dogs.

Yesterday, however, the horror. We braved the rain and the floods just to get my new puppy and my dog  their shots. Upon arriving there, the guard, who had an umbrella, didn't even assist me and my husband while we were struggling to get in out of the rain while trying not to get the dogs wet. He just stood there and SMOKED A CIGARETTE. Inside naman, some other vet (I won't name him na) attended to our dog. He left us in the middle of it because of an emergency and we had to wait quite a bit of time considering that we were the only patient there. Wala bang ibang doctor? And then when he came back, he administered shots to one of my pets in the lobby, walang alcohol or anything, just stuck needles in him. And I had to remind him that I still have another puppy that he had to take care of. He very brusquely handled my pet, who made these pitiful sounds, which, naturally, made my older dog agitated. He started barking at the vet and the vet was like, "Bakunahan ulit kita dyan."

I wanted to yell at the doctor because that is not how you treat your patients and my dogs ARE his patients. Siya kaya bakunahan ko? SO RUDE. I'm already stressed because of the rising flood and how you handled my other dog and how you are now handling my puppy and then you have the nerve to show that kind of attitude? Whatever your emergency is, that doesn't give you the right to mistreat my pets. Sobrang walang paki sa dogs ko.

Long story short. I'm only going for Dr. Kim or some of the other senior vets that others have recommended.

A lot of vets from VIP handled my pets.

I recommend ONLY Doc Nielsen and Doc Marga of Mandaluyong branch.
Also Doc Dex of Katipunan branch is very, very good.

They are the best.
I don't recommend Doc Kim, well yeah, mabait siya, pero nagkamali siya minsan ng ginawa and diagnosis sa pet ko. One time lumabas ng room then nagtanong sa kapwa vet kung ano ba yung tama, tapos mali pala yung una niya sabi sa akin. One time, tinusok din niya yung mata ng eyes ng pet dog ko para mabawasan ang fluid which is hindi pala dapat ginawa. Tapos mali din dosage ng mga gamot na nareseta.

There's also another vet in Mandaluyong that I don't recommend, I just forgot his name.
He insisted na may pyometra ang pet dog ko and kailangan na daw i-surgery agad agad. Medyo hesitant ako so sabi ko wait na lang muna tumaas dugo ng pet ko para tumaas and success rate ng surgery, 11y/o na kasi yung pet ko that time. Next day, si Doc Marga na nag attend sa akin then nung nakita niya, nag interrupt siya, sabi niya dapat daw mai-ultrasound muna and xray bago mag surgery. Ayun, wala naman palang pyometra and no need for surgery.

So far, the first three na na-mention ko ang best vets nila for me, kitang kita mo talaga na alam na alam nila ginagawa nila.

My God . Same experience with Dr. Kim. Mali din una nya diagnosis sa dog ko. Ibinalik ko uli after a week and consulted another vet. From then on, pagpupunta VIP tatanong muna ako sino available. ANy other vet except Dr. Kim

need to find another trusted vet aside from docs siday and nielsen...

Hi mga sis. I'm new here

So far so good naman kami sa VIP. Mga 20-30minutes drive from our house. Naka 4 times na kami sa VIP and all the times ok naman kami. Hinahanap talaga namin si doc gina. Magaling siya and she baby talks my dog. She explains very well rin.

Consultation fee kay Doc Nielsen, 500. For other vets, 300 or 400 ata. But usually maghahanda ka pa for other tests like urinalysis, blood tests etc. I'll post the fees hanapin ko lang receipts ko.
