@twelve5, feeling ko may pagka dog whisperer si Doc Gina. Iba talaga reaction ng dog ko sa kanya. Sabi pala ni Doc the next thing to watch out for after kidney failure is the heart. Nag worry nanaman ako kasi pag pasok pa lang sa waiting room ng VIP grabe na nginig nya & sa glass door nalang sya lagi nakatining. Para bang, "let me out of here" yung sinasabi nya sakin.

moccaccino, weekends lang din kami sa vip. we prefer sunday pa nga kasi less traffic. sana naman mag harmonize ang skeds nyo ni doc. i admit, parati din namin hinahabol sked nya. but i feel for you kasi urgent yang case nyo.

si pogi ko din unrequited love. hehe. pag lumapit si doc gina or nilalambing sya, nakow gusto ng umuwi. haha... kaya ang reward nya after vip is pasyal sa tiende or riverbank.

Thanks sis, kinuha ko na schedule nya for the next 2 weeks. Hanggang 10pm naman yung clinic so I'll just make time after work on a weekday. Lagari nga lang sa traffic & sana walang overtime sa office. Buti nalang 1 weekend lang sya mawawala.

Nako makikisali lang about Doc Gina.  Hirap lang nya matyempuhan pero love sya ang baby girl ko.  Pag sya kasi nilalambing nya after ng injection kaya dinidilaan ng baby ko buong face nya at payag sya.

moccaccino, thats good to know. mas ok kasi talaga na 1 vet lang humahawak for continuity... one time wala sya nung pumunta kami, so ibang vet ang naghandle. i wasnt happy with him. i needed to recheck everything with doc gina pa after that visit.

I was at VIP again yesterday for the subcutaneous treatment of my fur baby. I just really need to rant, kasi it's been bothering me since last night. Is it really so hard to inject a dog?! I mean as a medical practitioner I would think that if you were any good at your job kabisado mo at least that basic procedure. Last night the vet on duty injected my dog 3x just to get it done. Umiiyak & lumalaban na yung alaga ko after kasi nga naman....yung vet kaya tusukin ko ng 3 beses tingnan natin kung di sya umangal nun. Di ko naabutan sked in Doc Gina coz of my work & because of all the effort to get there nagpainject na din kami. Tutal I hadn't seen that vet before so I though baka isa sya sa mga magagaling. I was so wrong! Sa lahat ng vet na humawak sa alaga ko kay Doc. Riza & Doc. Gina lang ako kampante. For a clinic/hospital that's supposed to be among the best and charges so much why do you employ substandard vets?! Grabe, I'm still so angry after last night! To think this is not the 1st vet there that we've come across na palpak.

dati kasi may na encounter din kaming mejo palpak. young male vet. H ata initial... i told myself na pag natapat uli kami (at no chance to backout) at di uli ako happy sa perfomance nya, i will tell management... buti naman di na uli kami nagkita.

Yes, they sell both that brands. I was just there a few weeks ago and purchased some items too.

^^That's why we don't go to VIP anymore. Bumaba na yung quality of service nila. Antagal pa naman na namin with them since si Mike pa yung nagha-house call sa amin. Sobra na kasi maraming branches kaya yung mga vet founders hindi na masyado hands on.

Buti na lang we found another vet na okay and malapit lang sa amin. Sayang na sayang talaga ako sa VIP.

It's discouraging to read negative feedbacks about VIP. The only reason why I go there is the location and the convenience. And knowing now how Doc Gina is such a professional.

Female vet. She looks like one of the young ones. Taller than me (I'm 5'5"), thin with long wavy hair. Parang Doc. J***** tawag sa kanya nung na una sa amin.

The other vet I'm so upset with is much shorter than me, female also with long hair. Looks young as well. When she injected by dog several weeks ago she wasn't paying attention and the needle slipped out. Yung 2nd try nya akala mo nagdadarts, nagulat tuloy dog ko. She was also the same vet who diagnosed my dog with impacho the 1st time we got him checked up with her.

I've been looking for a VIP website that shows the picture of their vets with their names so I can be sure who they are. Gusto ko na talaga sulatan yung management to complain about them. Sayang nga talaga ang VIP.

On a brighter note, para naman hindi puro nega yung post ko today.....I was impressed by one of the male (nurses?) or handler ba tawag sa kanila? After the incident last night napakalma nya yung alaga ko by cuddling & talking to him habang tinatapos yung injection. Pangalan nung handler is Anthony.  Kung pwede lang sana sya yung irequest ko tuwing stranger vet yung natatapat sa amin.

oh no! looks like they're hiring a lot of newbies.  I hope they wont let the quality of their care to go south. siguro we need to give immediate feedback to them if we don't feel satisfied with their service.

my sister took our new pups to their white plains' branch for vaccination. the needle slipped out and some of the fluids spilled. she just let it slide because the vet got and used a new vial after that accident.

moccaccino, I don't know what they call them also.  basta I hear doc gina say "pa-assist" so I just call them assistants. hehe... si Orlan naman parati namin niri-request, but he is now in WP.

im trying to google if they have a website or facebook account pero parang wala. that would be an easier way to give feedback pa naman.

Sis mama squeak, where do you go now for your fur baby's needs?

Our new vet is Dr. E N Lee and he has a clinic in Moonwalk, Paranaque. It's so near lang our place. Our first encounter with him was an emergency since malapit lang clinic nya sa house. Dun una namin tinakbo yung isang kitten na na-aksidente sa loob ng makina ng car namin. Thank God nabuhay and napagaling nya yung kitten and he's now makulit na terror sa bahay. 

After that sa kanya na kami pumupunta since yung mga pumalit na nagha-house call from VIP eh mukhang pi-nagpapractisan yung mga pusa namin (with the exception of Doc Racky na wala na rin sa VIP).    Same scenario pag dinadala namin sa clinic sa Mandaluyong, wala ka nang maabutan na maayos na vet. The last straw was when a very good friend of mine lost her fur baby at the hands of one of the vets there. Di ko na lang tinanong sino yung vet. We didn't want to take our chances kaya lipat na kami.

after reading the rants vs VIP mandaluyong...natatakot na akong ibalik pets ko dun. anyways, kwento ko lang...
 
we went to their branch in white plains for ultrasound. I logged under doc Nielsen but was seen by a junior vet. ok lang sana if mag-assist lang (like what used to happen at mandaluyong) pero sumilip lang si doc Nielsen during the ultrasound and wala na. it was the junior vet who gave the prescription to us and explained the whole diagnosis. although ok naman sya, her name is doc me-ann btw, I just feel "cheated" that we went there to see doc Nielsen (he always handles my pets when we consult in mandaluyong) pero got checked up by another vet. siguro sobrang big time na si doc Nielsen hindi na pansin pag hindi surgical ang case... natuwa pa naman ako na nasa white plains na sya.

there was another vet na parang good din. they called him doc dex, parang ok din. sana...

I wish doc ian and doc siday would transfer na to white plains....

nakakaloka mga nabasa ko dito.  Buti na lang at exoctic ang pets ko at kay Doc Nielsen and Doc Marga talaga ang bagsak ko.

Puno na sa UP Vet Med at VIP yung isang suggested place nila for confinement. Cheaper kasi compared sa iba so sila pinili namin and we weren't disappointed. In fact, we were in awe.

The place is kept clean as in konting madumihan eh linis agad sila. The Mandaluyong branch is not that big but the place is really nice.

Our assigned vet is Doc Gina and she is wonderful. Our dog was very sick kasi and she was very accommodating sa mga questions and requests. She really does care for the pets (kaharap man yung owner o hindi). Mindful din siya sa words dahil emotional time yun for us. Na-appreciate din namin yung lagi niya kami ina-allow to take our time sa decision-making man o spending time with our pet (kahit na may limit).

Ho just wanna share my rant here.

First time namin magka shihtzu.

Nagkasaketvang baby namin and she's too small like kasya sya sa isang kamay mo kung malaki.
Dinala namin sya sa vip kasi silat nga to. Kahit wala kameng budget.

Inassist kame ng doctor na i wont name it. But para syang gay at matangkad. Medyo bata pa. At lun titignan mo hindi mo sya pagkakatiwalaan sa puppy mo cause parang beginner pa lang. That tmr doc marga is busy. So dun bagsak namin sa gay este guy.

So pinilit nya kame iconfine ang little baby. At dinextrose. At inalok kame ng sangkaterbang test kahit nag liit liit ng puppy. So we trust him and told him gawin nya lahat mabuhay lang si demi (name ng puppy)
And would you believe he told us na wag umasang mabubuhay? Omg. Nakakatakbo pa kaya yun puppy namin before kame magpunta dun. So natawa na lang kame kasi kala namin joke e. Tinataningan ang puppy mo pwede ba yun? Parang pagnagkamali sya sorry na lang kame.

So ayun kahit may allowable time lang ng visit nagpasaway kame haha as in nagstay kame dun almost magsasara na nga sila nun umalis kame since wala naman gano tao kaya pumayag na lang siguro sila.  Kinabukasan bumalik kame agad. And guess what? Lumuno ang neck ng puppy. At according sa vet na isa nasobrahan sa dextrose. Napabayaan po ang puppy namin dun. Nun hinahanp namin si doc biglang nawawala sya. Nagmerienda slash may inaassist daw. Sabi nun doc na girl medyo imassage daw para magcirculate yung dextrose. I was crying that time kasi grabe naman ang mahal nyo maningil ng deposit  tqpos hindi nyo binabantayan yung nakaconfine. Hindi nila naregulate yung anount ng dextrose tapos yun puppy pa puro pupu sa lalagyan. Kame pa naglinis kame pa nagmassage sa puppy. Tapos dumating si doc gay. May alok nanaman bagong test. Sabi namkn sige kung for good. Unuwi na kame.

Kinabukasan. Tumawag sila to inform us wala na si demi at may balance kameng 4k even nag deposit na kameng 3k. I feel bad for the puppy. Napunta sya sa maling doctor. Our demi is like a baby na. Super alaga namin dun. Up to the point hindi na kame naturtulogvkakabantay sa kanya. Tapos sa hospital ng aso dun pa sya napabayaan.

I dont think babalik pa ko sa vip. They should have cherry picked every doctors dun. Sabi nga nun sa ibang forum. Mga doctor na nagppractice  kaya vets in practice. But i lnow its a joke lang.
