Can anyone give an idea how much ang shots nila for kittens? Di pa pwede yung kitten ko now but since malapit lang samin yung Maysilo branch nila, I was thinking dun na lang pa shots pag 4 months na siya. TIA!

This is my personal opinion, sisses. If you will choose to bring your furkids in this clinic, it would be BEST to look for their Senior Vets like Dr. Nielsen, Dr. Marga, Dr. Nick, to get the most of what you pay for and get an accurate diagnosis for your sick babies. I have a not-so-good experience 2weeks ago with one of their resident vets in VIP Alabang, that's why.

^Long story, sis. My baby died last week already. I still have what-ifs and regrets like kung na-diagnose lang talaga ang real cause ng symptoms I could be hugging him alive until now My bf and I are also thinking of making a letter to let them know of what happened just that we don't know kung kanino ia-address, kung sa resident Vet or directly to the owners na.

I would suggest that you direct your letter to the owners so they can investigate what really happened. I hope you get a positive response from them.

i'll agree ha, personal opinion/experience din. dra riza is also nice. pero senior na din ata sya dun. may junior vets medyo nakakairita kausap. parang tulaley na ewan, hehe. i forgot the names lang...pero yung isang junior vet good naman, may potential. short hair, gupit lalaki, i just forgot her name din. tingnan ko sa website...

saka sana...the senior vets would refrain from letting the junior vets dispense the medicines. i mean, sana they check the dosing before the prescription is given, had 2 episodes na kasi na iba ang dose na binigay nung jr vet, buti i rechecked with my orig senior vet, so na-change. i dunno, minsan kasi baka iba-iba ang dosing style nila? alam ko naman there are days when talaga the place is a zoo, pero kasi gamot yun eh. baka imbes na mapagaling yung pet dba, mapasama pa?  

but i love getting our checkups at VIP ha, yun lang, "choosy" na ako ngayon. kesehodang mabwisit sila, i'll always double check na. mahirap na noh.

Sabi ko rin, parang imposible kasi pano sila manggagamot kung hihintayin palagi yung senior vets? So bawat galaw, tatanungin muna ang senior vet kung tama yung ginagawa nila, ganun? Parang ang hirap at risky din pala sa VIP kasi despite the fact na one of the best vets yung naghahandle, paano kung may emergency tapos junior vets lang yung available? Ang mangyayare, its either hintayin natin dumating yung senior vet habang lumalala yung situation ng dog natin or payagan ang junior vets na gamutin sila pero punum-puno naman ng doubts and worries kung tama ba yung ginagawa niya. Parang nabalewala rin na sa the best animal hospital tayo nagpunta pag nangyare yung ganito.

hmm...ang alam ko sis ang naiiwan naman after the senior vets leave ay yung mas matagal na sa VIP na vets. so if ever wala na ang "senior" vets, mas experienced naman sa juniors ang naiiwan sa hospital, sila din ang nagdu-duty dun overnight for those admitted pets and night calls. but if the pet needs surgery, the senior vets come in kahit pa anong oras yun. so ok pa din. saka what i like most about VIP is that hospital sya talaga for animals, may gamit na updated saka may tiwala na ako sa mga na-encounter kong vets dun. so if my preferred vet is not available, i "roll-call" sa reception area pa lang. 

but kung vaccines lang, no problem ako with their junior vets. they're really accomodating and nice, well, except for one, parang plastic kasi ang compassion nya for my pets. <sorry>

I've always wanted to visit them kaso malayo ang location nila sa amin, yung vet kasi namin walking distance lang so since check ups and vaccines pa lang naman kailangan namin, sa kanya kami pumupunta,minsan home service pag yung malalaking aso. Nasabi ko rin sa kanya na if ever may major operation, I would go to VIP at okay naman sa kanya. Pango kasi mga alaga ko, I want a vet na sanay sa snub noses, and I've heard that VIP has the latest technology kaya dadayuhin ko talaga sila if kailangan ng surgery.

^my condolences sis...mahirap mawalan ng pets. i know some people can't get it but it really breaks the owner's heart kapag namatay ang isang pet, can't imagine kung dalawa pa.

^^naku sis, malayo din sa amin ang VIP, hehe. pero dayo mode kami talaga. kaya before i go, i call muna to check if our vet is there, kapag wala or wala akong like na on duty, we settle on a nearby so-so vet, then kapag available na doc nielsen, go!

i like din that they process their own labs, kasi nakikita mo talaga saka matter of minutes lang may result na. kaya pag sick dogs namin, pag-uwi namin may diagnosis na, hindi hula-hula. it was actually another vet who referred me to VIP kasi sila mismo alam nila updated ang gamit dun. my shih tzu almost underwent a major operation kasi so sabi nila maganda daw ang anesthesia machine ng VIP, "safer" or something like that. but sis, if that's the case with you, then i hope and pray you'd never need their services ever. hehe. (kasi sabi mo pag need surgery then your choice is VIP eh)

naku, may mga blind items na pala dito. hehe

i guess im lucky kasi maski jr vet may hawak sa dog ko, i have never encountered a problem pa naman. 2x na sya na 911 case, both nighttime pa, pero ok naman sa pag handle si doc gina. (sya yung petite, short-hair and tomboy/ish).

kung mga vaccines lang, i can bring my dog to another vet thats closer to our place.

pero pag may mga other issues na kelangan esp ang mga lab tests etc, i have no other place in mind except for vip. i know kasi that they are competent.

yung partner/sister clinic nila sa tiende (nearer to our place) hindi rin complete sa facilities. 3x na akong tumawag dun to inquire but they referred me to vip in all cases.

i am a makulet pet-owner/parent... i know that sometimes pagod na rin si doc gina sa mga questions ko but she answers all of them naman... communication to me is vital. ayoko ng doc/vet na pag tinanong mo eh parang no time or patience to explain to me whats happening. as a pet-owner, i have to know. demanding talaga ako. hehe.

kelangan talaga vibes kayo ng doc/vet nyo. pag hindi, find another one. mahirap yung hindi ka satisfied sa services nya. and hindi rin biro whats at stake - yung health and life ng pet natin.  plus all the monetary cost involved... sobrang sakit yung after all the gastos eh di nag survive yung alaga natin dahil lang sa incompetence ng ibang tao.

^hi sis, thanks for making me remember! in the above post, i was referring to doc gina. i like her too. it shows in her actions and the way she touches your pet that she's compassionate talaga sa pet  mo and to you as an owner, dba? she's one of the vets that i look for if my primary vet is not there or is busy and i'm in a bit of a hurry.

^ si doc gina kasi attending vet nung 1st time ko dinala yung pup ko for an emergency case. Dyahe pa nga kasi i was crying nun...  May succeeding case pa na ganun din so iyak iyak uli ako. Super dyahe na talaga. But she never gave that "anubayan" look. Hehe... She's compassionate talaga. And i can tell that she knows whats she's doing.

Di na ako naga-ask for a sr vet. Im satisfied with her... Pero in the future, in case of a major health issue, i would talk a sr vet. Syempre mas may experience na sila. And another opinion would matter greatly.

^ gusto ko din yang si Doc Gina.  Tuwang tuwa ako pag sya ang natyetyempuhan ko. Kita mong animal lover talaga. At saka yung Shih Tzu ko love sya, dinidilaan buong face nya at payag si Doc. 

May pagka OA pa nga aso ko e. Minsan vaccination lang umiiyak pa, kakargahin ni Doc Gina yun at ihehele.

in my case kasi sis, medyo matagal na problem ng pet ko kaya sanay na ako kay doc nielsen ko sya pinapa-check, hindi na mahabang kwentuhan, hehe. kilala na nya in other words...but yung isang pet ko 1st time ko pina-check, si doc gina na humawak nangamusta na lang si doc nielsen. so in the future, ok din sa akin si doc gina na lang...

i agree. dapat isa lang hahawak na vet. kaya may kanya-kanyang vet ang dogs namin. kalurkey nga, minsan pag kelangan ipa-checkup, iniisip pa namin, "sino nga ba vet nito?" hahahaha. may iba kasi kaming dogs sa UP vet dinadala kaso they changed their resident vets na so baka ilipat na din namin sa VIP.

Hi, Sisses! How much ang consultation sa VIP in Mandaluyong? And is the rate the same for their partner clinic--yung Carveldon in Pasay? And has anyone tried going to Carveldon? Okay ba siya? My mom lives in Manila kasi, and we're scouting for a good vet clinic wherein ipapatingin sana namin yung cats and dog niya, and mas malapit siya sa Carveldon. TIA!
