^Hi mama squeak. Me again. Would you mind sharing how much did
the operation cost you? Si Dr. Nielsen mismo ang nag-operate?

^ Yup, si Dr. Nielsen mismo nag-operate sa cat ko. The surgery cost us 6.5k including meds na antibiotic and painkillers. We brought in our cat around 8am then picked him up at 4pm the same day. After 10 days we went back to the clinic to have his stitches removed. The vet on duty that day na lang nagtanggal.

Uy, dami pala fans ni doc gina dito. Hehe... Mabait si doc talaga. Even the staff, pati sekyu.

My dog might need to see her. Nagdu-drool while asleep. Di sya ganun dati eh. =(

My lab and I are fans of Dr. Nielsen naman.  We went to VIP Alabang last Friday for the removal of her stitches, she underwent FHO Surgery due to dislocated hip and Hip Dysplasia two weeks ago. He was so happy to see my lab recovered so fast. And it was such a relief that I made the right decision to bring my lab to the right surgeon.

May lab gave birth last May 15 sa Vets in Practice Alabang. Na confine sya don kasi gusto namin sana ma assist sa whelping yung dog namin, 2.5k ang charge nila sa normal delivery. Unfortunately, nagising na lang ako sa tawag ng doctor na need daw i CS ang labrador ko kasi daw may SUHI. Sabi ko ok lang wait nyo kami pupunta na kami dyan. Sabi nya as soon as possible daw need ng i operate kasi daw nahina na ang fatal heart rate ng mga pups. Sabi ko sige. Then pagdating namin tinatahi na ang lab ko. 8 puppies, pero yung isa naipit so mga hours lang nabuhay. then yung runt, mga 2 days lang din nabuhay. Na shock lang talaga ako sa total billa ko. 20,000+ Kala ko yung 15k na sabi nya lahat na yon ang dami pa palang charges.

^ as with any medical procedure (human and otherwise), expect your bill to double, even triple... Pwede kasi magkaron ng unexpected complications which translate to unexpected expenses.

Kaya ako pag may sakit dogs ko dalawa fears ko -  health ng dogs ko at health ng bank acct ko. Hehe.

What about their VIP Pet Hotel and Wellness Center, ok ba ang pet boarding and grooming dito and how much?

^ i havent tried their hotel but i've seen the ground floor. They have a big play pen there... grooming area... restroom...  Sa 2nd floor yung sleeping quarters nila.

dinala ko si Chi-Chi ko kagabi dito. Kasi nagmumuta ang eyes. E kakagrooming lang nya nung Saturday napapraning ako baka natusok ng groomer. Di naman pala. Pero may infection baka napasukan ng maraming hair.  May eyedrops na binigay.

May trauma yung Shih Tzu ko sa doctor. Kala nya siguro injection na naman.  3 times umihi dun at na poop pa!  nakakahiya. Pero mabait naman sila, okay lang daw.

BTW, meron na ba sa inyong nagpa spay ng dog?  Nag inquire ako e pwede na daw at kung di naman namin i-be-bread e recommended.  11 months pa lang puppy ko pero princess sya kaya takot akong mabuntis sya baka macesarian pa. Saka ayaw ko naman ng maraming puppies e. Gusto ko sya lang.

@hannie1216: Mejo pricey talaga sa VIP, what's good about them lang is tinatapatan nila ang price with their service, well, I'm referring to the Senior Vets ha. (sorry!)

i have heard a lot of good things about VIP kaso ang layo from my place. I'm from Laguna.

i read they have a branch in Alabang. May I know the exact location or address?

Our cocker spaniel was diagnosed with heartworm and I wanted to have a second opinion for treatment. Papa-test din namin yung shih tzu namin baka meron din siya. hope not!
