First time to post here... Just wanted to warn you mommies. Please don't book Basement8 Photobooth. Sobrang gulo nila kausap. Before buying the voucher, I called their number to ask kung mag transpo charge kami since our venue is Quezon Avenue. Sabi nung kausap ko wala na daw, so I bought their voucher. Tapos nung nagconfirm ako ng booking, I sent the voucher, nagreply na kailangan ko daw magbayad, nagsisinungaling pa na nagchange daw ako venue kaya nila sinabi na walang charge, e nakabook na kami sa venue nun, after a long argument over the email, I gave in na rin. Tapos everytime na may itatanong ako  (about size ng tap, kung may butas yung backdrop, kung may stand), tinatanong ako ng event details at pinapasend ulit yung voucher ko at pic ng baby ko, kasi hindi daw nila nasave. Etong last time medyo napuno ako kasi we booked yung 5 hours nila. Nakita ko may voucher silang bago na 3 hours with photo magnets. Tinanong ko if pwede yun ang avail namin since same price naman ng voucher. Pumayag naman thru email, kaso ang una asi namin book ay 1:30 to 6:30, sabi ko since 3 hours na lang 3pm to 6pm kami, hindi daw pwede kasi hindi na daw available.. what?? hindi available eh sakop naman ng 1:30 to 6:30 yung 3pm to 6pm, which is initially reserved for us. hindi nakasagot yung kausap ko, pinasa sa iba, sabi sakin kasi daw nung nagpachange ako ng time duration eh may naayos silang ibang clients, pero why would they book other clients without asking me kung ano yung final time namin... starting company pa lang ata ito.. pero sana naman [para dumami yung clients nila ayusin nila services nila... Just wanted to share this para you won't have the same experience.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear what happened sis. Ingat na lang po tayo sa susunod. Make sure to do a thorough research po muna sa photo booth na kukuhanin ninyo.

I'm a regular client of basement 8... from invitation to photo and video coverage to photobooth... we even have a schedule on Oct27 and this is my 4th booking with them and sa ensogo ko rin sila nakukuha... ok naman sila and friendly and professional photographers and artists... I visited them just last week .....  to finalize my Oct27 event... ok naman... and ang alam ko there are areas talaga na may transpo like ako taga QC ako from what i know only katipunan area lang ang  nakalagay sa voucher na walang transpo sa qc. Maybe let's just be careful with group buying sites... let's make sure to know the details and the conditions of the deals we'll buy na lang para stress free and no hassle... i'm not sure pero smin even with my friends ok naman sila... our company book them for our christmas party.... pumasa naman sila sa company standards namin so i think ok naman sila...  CHEERS!

oh no sis Deneice. My sister in-law had a problem din with Basement8. 2 hours late yung photobooth nya. nagcake blowing na nung dumating, sobrang galit na galit sis in-law ko. Since I will be planning my daughter's 1st birthday tinanong ko agad ano yung photobooth na nakuha and basement 8 nga daw. She got them through a group buying site daw, not sure where. Pero diba useless na may photobooth ka kung late dumating lalu na for me since gusto ko yung mga early birds ko makapagphotobooth muna for entertainment.

Me too had a bad experience with basement 8 photobooth when I availed their service. Below are my complaints:

1. mahirap tawagan and hindi sumasagot ng calls
2. ang tagal magreply sa email at hindi nagrereply sa text
3. 45mins late dumating sa venue
4. dumating sa venue na walang dalang extension cord so hindi sila makapag-operate if di daw ako makapag-produce
4. late na dumating maaga pa nagpack-up… more than 2hrs lang yun service while 3hrs photobooth un inavail ko
5. hindi binigay yun dvd copy ng pictures

Mura nga yun photobooth package but not worth yun stress and hassle na na-experience ko sa kanila.  Hindi ko nga maconsider na "I got what I paid for". Super walang customer commitment.
2x ako nagreklamo sa ensogo pero di man lang nagreply sa akin so I think both of them talagang may problem.
On the brighter side, mas swerte pa pala ako compared sa mga clients nila na hindi sinipot which is super worried talaga ako na baka gawin nila sa party namin that day.

Basement8 cancelled on me last minute as in day before my event, because they saw my post here. Instead of explaining their side and finding a resolution to improve their business they decided to be unprofessional and cancel my event. Buti na lang my party planner, Jacque of Party Booster is super efficient, nahanapan kami ng photobooth last minute, yung layout namin ginwa lang onsite pero buti maaga dumating [textspeak!] replacement photobooth like 3 hours before the event. Blessing in disguise rin na nagkaarguement with Basement8 kc ang dami ko naririnig na nalate or no-show ang basement8 sa event nila. Supposedly nakatipid ako ng 2k with basement8, pero peace of mind is priceless.

Hi mga sis trending ang basement 8 ah   i just had them last sunday for my bunso's binag... ok naman sila I appreciate talaga na kahit las pinas ako e ok naman and ulimitted prints tlg pati reprint sa kanila... with other photobooths that we had kasi may bayad reprint... nagenjoy kami pati kids ko nakailang pictures kami. Sulit tlg ang 2,699 ko... nagorder pa nga ako ng photo story book for all the pictures taken in photobooth... good deal [textspeak!] Basement 8 para sakin... good job good job Basement 8!

Hi mga sis trending ang basement 8 ah   i just had them last sunday for my bunso's binag... ok naman sila I appreciate talaga na kahit las pinas ako e ok naman and ulimitted prints tlg pati reprint sa kanila... with other photobooths that we had kasi may bayad reprint... nagenjoy kami pati kids ko nakailang pictures kami. Sulit tlg ang 2,699 ko... nagorder pa nga ako ng photo story book for all the pictures taken in photobooth... good deal [textspeak!] Basement 8 para sakin... good job good job Basement 8!

i would like to try basement 8 din for my baby's 1st birthday kaso matagal pa hehe. Sulit nga yan kung libre ang reprint. I have tried kasi digiprint on my baby's baptism okay naman service nila kaso no reprints.

Sis not to be picking fights pero if I were you, ibang photobooth na lang for your peace of mind. Kita ko kasi how they messed up my pamangkin's birthday. Sorang late sila dumating as in candle blowing na. Yung sister-in-law ko galit na galit kasi while the guests were eating, ok sana kung yung iba na finished na makapagphotobooth sana. Upto now nagtitingin kami ng pics, nareremember niya yung Basement8, nagagalit sya.. kahit sa facebook daming complaints aout them. Kahit makatipid ka, kung worried ka kung darating or hindi. I agree with sis deneice21, you can't put a price to your peace of mind.

Ako din, grabe ang experience ko sa basement 8.  They did not print every picture they took, suplado ang crew at parang laging nagmamadali.  Akala ko nga hindi sila darating coz for some reason hindi sila nag-reply sa mga texts and calls ko.  And because pangit ang experience ko with them, naturally I gave a negative feedback.  Hayun! ayaw nila ngayong i-release ang cd copy ko!

I would like to file a complaint against them, what I don't know lang is which proper authorities ang dapat ako magsumbong.  I believe they did not follow their own terms and conditions, furthermore, we have the right to that cd because we paid the whole amount.

Sis vbaingan, could you please give me jasm's contact details?  My daughter had her first birthday lst October 6 but as early as now gusto ko may mga reference na ako so that next year mas maayos ang party niya.

Actually, naging maayos naman talaga, had it not been for Basement 8. Never ko na silang kukunin.  And I hope maging aware ang lahat moms, who are considering getting a photobooth, to stay clear of Basement 8.  Iba rin talaga ang may peace of mind.  At mas maganda kung walang regrets after your child's party, diba?
