ÔtherBoleynGirl sis 8months pregnant ako ngayon eh, mga 2 years na ko di nagtry kasi naenjoy ko yung work ko ngayon. after kasi nun bad working exp ko with cebpac, natrauma talaga ko kaya nag stop ako. Pag pinayagan ako ni hubby mag FA, pwede ako mag try ulit. Ikaw sis?

I wonder how to apply as FA for emirates or etihad, but not based in manila? What agency?

Emirates usually doesn't accept Pinays as FAs. Openings are for CSA positions. But I know someone who started as CSA but after 2 years, she luckily got upgraded to Cabin Crew.

Etihad. They don't hold open day in the Phils. But if you have the opportunity to go to UAE, pwede ka dun direct magapply. Sometimes they also do open day in other Asian countries. I know a few na ganun ginawa.

Sis mommychinita ngayon pa lang ako magtatry. As in try ko lang if pwede pa. Para lang no regrets pagdating ng time na wala na talagang chance.

^You go to the screening na lang. Some crew actually don't have good set of teeth. If it's on the lower portion naman, there's a chance that they can tolerate it naman. Just smile nicely, baka pwede nilang palusutin.

^yup, tattoos that are not visible can be accepted. Not sure with International airlines. By the way, for Cabin crew aspirants, watch the newly uploaded video of Cebu Pacific Air fb page. It shows how an open day looks like.

di ko alam bakit pinakawalan ko pa to, last 2013 got the golden call from both qatar airways and ek,   di pa kasi ko sure nun and di ko pa nasabi sa husband ko na nagapply ako kao medyo issue.. ngayon namang ok na di naman ako makahanap ng open days... haaay... di ko lam kung magtry pa ko pumunta ng uae or what...

Hi sissies! Bago lang ako dito and just like you girls aspiring fa din ako. Although 31 yrs old nako try pa din ako who knows haha and hndi naman ako mukang 31 seryoso. Balak k0o mag train at enroll sa isang fa school kasi wala talaga ko alam sa aviation. And para na din may konting edge siguro pag may training background ka lalo na sa age ko. Sana lahat tayo mga sis maabot natin pangarap natin lahat which is to be a fligth attendant!

to those who wanted to know more try to search for KARA GRAND, very helpful ang mga tips nya and well explained yung mga ngyayare sa open day, there are also links nadin leading to CC recruitments for etihad,qatar airways and emirates.. just sharing.

oooooo mga sis i tried applying sa IPAMS Qatar airways open day. I failed coz I couldnt reach the arm test LOL!

but I took the longest sa final interview... kase the foreigner girl wanted me to sign up sa ibang position.. hehe

wala na siguro hope. i just barely touched the tip of the sticker

^ Try etihad.. they have lower height requirements.. as of now emirates palang ang nagrerquire ng HEIGHT REQUIREMENT pero sa iba last time I checked arm reach lang.. as long as you can reach it ok lang sa kanila..

^ thanks sa suggestion sis.. ano height requirement sa emirates? dream airline ko pa naman... pero I'm only a sad 5'2.. haha
may arm reach sa qatar airways, 218 or 212 cm ata..di ko naabutan yung 218.

and as far as I know, Etihad only hires in UAE din.. hehe

^  Arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes and Minimum height of 160 cm. mga 5'3 got an offer from them mga 3 years ago but i turned it down.. haaay ngayon parang gusto ko na ulit since payag na husband ko.. di kasi sya aware nun na nagapply ako haha.  sa Etihad naman yup you can create an account online naman and send CV/Photos/scanned copy of passport/diploma tapos magsend sila ng invite for open day (w/ invitation) kung napili ka. pre selected na yun so kung makareceive ka ng email there is a higher chance na ma tanggap ka kaso yun nga.. you need to go to UAE. kung gusto mo talaga sisiw lang ang pagpunta dun.. wag ka na manghinayang. Hindi lahat nakakatanggap ng Golden Call wag mo palampasin.

mga sis I'm turning 26 soon. i had no job experience ever . i recently discovered my love for traveling and now I'm aspiring to become a cabin crew. do you think may chance pa ako? I'm willing to enroll in an fa certificate school, take swimming lessons and get a lasik if required. what do i put in my resume since wala ako previous employment? may mga newbies ba na tinatanggap sa international airline?

^Yup, there are openings that does not require FA experience. some just require that you have at least finished High School or equivalent. you may search for KARA GRAND and you'll get a lot of tips from her. Good Luck!
