things that bother me : age limit 23 y.o??
 and I just called IPAMS asking about Saudi Arabian Airlines aka Saudia, they were their agency but they are now NOT handled by IPAMS, I currently don't have any idea how to apply and if you do pls. share. IPAMS only handle Qatar and Emirates.

^ unfortunately not. The trainings and standards that the school provides is mandatory talaga. I've yet to hear an airline hire students palang... It's their company name at stake din kasi.

i've read from the previous thread na madalas magtanggal sa qatar airways, why's that so? Plan ko kasi magapply, pati sa pal, how much pala salary in both airlines,sana may makasagot.tia!

sis, from what i know, with emirates, at least high school graduate (eto nakasulat >> Educated to at least high school level with strong problem solving skills). unfortunately, they are not hiring filipinos at this time. malay natin, mag open sila ulit for filipinos in manila soon di ba? kasi dito sa dubai, open na ulit ang cabin crew position sa emirates for everyone (actually hindi specified anong nationalities gusto nila), dati kasi for arabic speakers only. but i don't know yet if icoconsider na nila filipinos. 1 day lang ang cv drop off, bale mamaya na yun

Hi sisses! I'm a college junior and I also want to become an FA. May dilemma ako ngayon, though. I'm planning to get a tattoo soon. Sa hidden part of my body naman. So I was wondering kung never akong ma-hihire if ever? Thank you!

hi sisses, ako parang want ko na din mag FA, kaya lang ang prob ko is height ko... weight ko naman kaya ko naman karirin magpapayat, pero pampatankad wala na talaga kasi 21 nako... nainggit kasi ako sa friend ko kasi ang laki sweldo niya kaya want ko i-try.. eh anong airlines ba yung hindi mahigpit sa height? thanks!!!

^^may ibang airlines na ok lang may tattoo basta hindi visible whilst in uniform. dati nga akala ko dapat complete set of teeth, na dapat pantay pantay sobra, hindi naman pala. basta kapag nakasmile ka, ok tignan. sayang lang pagpapalagay ko ng mga bridge.

mga sis share ko lang my experience with air phil when i applied last year. it took almost a month for them to text me for interview. then when i went mga 10 yung for screening&interview including me and 10 yung walk in. we were told to wear corporate attire skirt, blazer&sleeveless top. nagulat lang ako sa mga walk in na parang napa daan lang some were not even wearing formal attire hehe
ang first na ginawa was height weight and youg aabutin yung 200cm with one arm ba yun? it wasn't in tip toe! so dun palang madami na nabawas. then may 3 girls na 4'10 who couldn't reach it sabi pa nga nung staff na girls na below 5ft halos wala na kakaabot nung arm test nila unless mahaba ang arm, so come back nalang in 6 months she joked pa nga baka tumankad pa kayo. naki usap yung 3 girls na ulitin then sabi nung staff ok im not sure if na abot nila but they stayed till the interview eh there were a lot of really tall girls na parang wow you know they'll get it cause of their height.
what i didn't get was we stayed till after lunch kase wala daw mag iinterview so sabi ko sa katabi ko bakit ganoon hiring pero wala mag interview?! dun palang we we're like what kind of a company kaya ito parang di yata nila alam na hiring? as in our make up's were all gone na we didnt look as fresh as we did when we came in.
the interview resumed after lunch mine went ok they we were talking casually i answered their questions straight but what shocked me was when i said my life story cause they'll ask you about yourself etc..then the interviewee asked me if i knew any of the girls applying cause yung isa daw dun sa kanila has the same story as mine i said no kase wala naman ako talaga kilala i came alone also. so ang lesson learned DONT TALK TOO MUCH with other girls cause they may use what you say! nung sinabi sa akin yun i was stuck i didnt know what to say na i guess they were thinking na ako pa ang gumamit nung story nung girl. so i didnt get it. actually out of the 20 that applied no one got in even the tall girls. i think they're looking for girls na may x factor kase out out us all sa tingin ko we we're more or less similar in a way eh yung tipong may ma pupuna ka na mali in everyone.

with me sis ako lang yung pina hubad nung blazer and pina ikot the other girls weren't asked to remove. actually natawa pa nga ako kase parang modeling ba ito?!hehe it was funny how often do you get asked to remove your blazer sa interview hehe

Share ko lang mga sis.

My niece and I was in an interview before sa pal. She stand 5'6" ang I'm 5'5" naman. Totoo yun sabi ni sis tipay na pang pageant or modelling ang labanan sa pal. They even look at our nails na dapat hindi sagad yun cut and pati yun likod naman tinignan nila kung may mga blemishes or what so ever. They even asked us to show our prettiest smile to see kung maayus yun teeth. I just accompanied my niece kasi gusto nya talagang maging FA and ako lang kasi ang nag-encourage sa kanya na mag-apply kasi mahiyain sya. Then ayun hindi kami for some reasons.. Then we tried sa IPAMS for Emirates same thing din, pang pageant din ang labanan. Nagsawa yun niece ko and even me na mag-apply dito. My niece went to dubai as a Metro Dubai employee, then nagtake chance sya na mag-apply direct sa Emirates, ayun bonggang english lang sya dun sa nag-interview sa kanya natanggap sya. Now, she's one of the FA's na nasa Business Class na. As per her mga agencies lang naman daw ang maaarte sa pagkuha ng mga applicants e.

^Hi sis ceejhei! I want!! But I don't think I'm qualified as of now.. Magstart pa lang ako swimming lessons next week.. Tapos inaayos ko pa yung skin ko kasi umitim ako ng konti at nagkaron pa ko uneven skintone kakabeach this summer.  Good luck sis ah? First time mo ba? balitaan mo kami.. tee hee!!

^oh,kelangan na marunong magswim sis?di pwede s training na nila matutunan?hehe. Ano ng minimum height requirement sa qatar airways? Sa airphil kasi mimimum reach lang ng 200cms. Medyo kaya pa. Haha. Tsaka strict talaga sila sa blemishes? As in tinitignan nila closely yung skin mainly s face,underarms,legs?
