Hi, this may be off topic but I just wanted to share with the rest so that you can avoid products that will not work or will give you problems.  In choosing a product and before buying it, it would be best to research the ingredients and stay clear of oil based products.  Ingredients that you might consider avoiding are those that have Mineral Oil and Lanolin.  Mineral oil is a by product of petroleum products, so it's just like putting gasoline or diesel on your face.  Lanolin is an oil that serves as a protective coating found in sheep's wool, which basically means it's like scrubbing your face against a sheep.  My advice, check the ingredients, avoid oil based products and go for water-based ones.  Hope this helps.

Mineral oil is very refined and is tauted one of the safest ingredients, and has the least amount of allergic reactions of all cosmetic oils.

When researching for product safety, tingnan both sides of the story. Basahin yung side ng mga tao who think hindi sya safe, and the side of cosmetic chemists and dermatologists who think they are safe. Then decide.

The confusion around mineral oil is also caused by some cosmetics companies and people who use the information about non-purified mineral oil as a scare tactic. The mineral oil used in skin-care products is certified as either USP (United States Pharmacopeia) or BP (British Pharmacopeia). ^I was not saying that it was not safe.  I was merely pointing out that oil based products are better to be avoided altogether because when oil is used in the face can block the pores of the leading to other problems primarily from build up of dirt inside the skin.  I think that's something that doesn't need a cosmetic scientist nor a dermatologist to figure out.

Sa NICU nga din, Mineral oil din gamit namin primarily sa pag bathe ng infant. So I also don't think na mineral oil is bad for the skin. That's my opinion.

@bdayboy, we should read ingredients sa lahat ng products in general, whether oil-based or water-based. Blanket statements kasi can make people think the other is better. Tapos na-p-promote yung scare-mongering

Water-based products are laden naman with silicones and oil-substitutes na same din ang effect as oil, some even more irritating. So pili na lang kung anong mas ok.

Oil is also not created equal. Oils that are high in oleic acid are the ones that should be avoided because they're the ones that aggravate acne. Mineral oil cannot block pores kasi its molecules is bigger than our pores.

Lanolin on the other hand, is used kasi yun yung nag-k-keep ng moisture sa skin ng sheep. So for those who have really dry skin, lanolin is very helpful.

 Paraffin Oil, Mineral Oil, Lanolin and Petroleum  all have safe profiles as they are also cheap and effective. But those ingredients are what we use back in the olden days when we didn't have better alternatives. They feel heavy pero so far wala naman akong acne or rashes. Marami na ngayon pamalit na just as cheap, safe and are lighter on the skin. The other problem I have is that everytime I see lanolin and mineral oil I'm reminded of those industrial size Lander lotions na natatanggap mo sa mga balikbayan relatives. Parang ang cheap ng dating. Siguro hanggang paa lang siya magagamit and pang nighttime use. If  they are the major ingredient (the first two on the list) it's better to choose other products na lang.
Not all natural ingredients are better than synthetic ones. I see many posts complaining about Human Heart Nature deo. Parang watery sya. Someone gave that to me last Christmas and sabi ko, "Ano ba 'to joke?. " Akala ko ako lang me ganung experience.
 VCO  gave me the worst reaction. I followed some advice that applying vco will help  treat dermatitis. Ayun, nagka-allergic reaction ako and I kept scratching it na nagkasugat sugat na.

it's not the worst i've tried but i won't buy it again, lewis and pearl powder, namumuo sa noo, malapad kasi noo ko the powder is so fine namumuti talaga ang hirap i-spread pag may day cream unless gagamitan ko ng powder brush. mas like ko pa din si J&J baby powder. i also hate ponds products never ako nahiyang.

I really don't know if this product is the worst pero in my opinion, I will never buy this product again, ISkin New York Radiance. I bought it because according sa dermatologist sa Flawless, ISkin could help minimize my acne marks. Dahil sabi ng derma, kinulit ko si bf na bumili ng Iskin and sad to say parang wala namang effect yung 4,100 php na binayaran and until now binabayaran pa namin through credit card. Sobrang desperate na kasi ako matanggal yung acne scars ko Kaya yun.

Maybeline's BB cream - bigat sa face and breakout galore. Hindi pa natural yung kulay ko. Kahit konti lang ilagay mukha akong espasol.

The face shop's Quick and Clean BB cream - break out galore ako nuon. I swore never to buy this product again, kaka-trauma

Marami talagang BB cream ang nakakabreak-out. May moisturizer kasi siya, so hindi bagay sa oily skin. But the worst really is Maybelline BB Cream. Ang bigat sa mukha. Then next is Eskinol. Grabe lang kasi sa tapang.

Aloe Evershield Deodorant Stick
Wala nga raw aluminum, so it's not an anti-perspirant but it doesnt work as deo either. Di pa pawis, may amoy na. Hindi naman talaga kasi mabango ang aloe, ginawang deo pa. Asim! Hehe..

Aido Liquid Eyeliner
Hay nako, di ko magamit. I looked for a liquid eyeliner in f21 and the sales girl gave me this. Small lang kasi hanap ko. Sabi nya waterproof daw. Hay, ang hirap gamitin. Kainis.

F21 waterproof Mascara
Kumakalat. Di ko rin magamit.
