sis princessleia, i think walang parade sa obando during the feast of st clare. usually ang celebration sa monasterio ni santa clara. if you're in manila, meron sila monasterio sa katipunan.

yah yung sa katipunan nag pupunta din kami don ni hubby before wala na kasi time minsan e kaya tagal na namin di nakakadaan don. Thanks sa info

May thread pala about Obando fertility dance.

I went there on the first day. May 17. Although hindi ko kasama si hubby.

Kasama ko yung close girlfriend ko na nag pray naman sa fertility ng sis-in-law nya..

Reading all your posts made me cry again. I remembered the emotions I had inside the church right after the procession. Everyone was asking for a baby or being thankful they had a baby. The atmosphere was so thick with both solemnity and joyfulness, you can almost hold it in your hands.

Sis May, I took the liberty of browsing thru your pictures.

Nahagip ng camera mo yung mom ng friend ko na member ng Obando Aerobics Club.

Sya yung nag invite samin na pumunta sa fiesta. Hehe

hi mga sis! gusto komlang buhayin ang thread again to say that i had my positive preg test today!

nagsayaw din kami last may.

prior this, my hubby and i have been trying for 3 years na. 3 times na din kami unsuccessfully nagIUI.

yun lang! dont lose hope mga sis! see you all next may! will go back there in thanksgiving for the blessing.

mga sis, ttc din kami ni hubby for 4 years na. we're planning to go to obando this may 17-19. we're coming from cebu. gusto namin mag join sa procession but gusto din namin to have a good spot inside sa church pag fertility dance na. if you join the procession ba, you'd still be able to get inside the church after?

^hi sis, you to come early if you want a good spot AT THE BEGINNING of the MASS.. after that, procession na... tapos balik ulit sa church.. kaya there's no way na magkaroon ka ng guaranteed "good spot"

masikip po sa sa sobrang dami ng tao... kahit labas ng church po laging puno ... hindi mo naman kailangan na mapunta sa harap to receive the blessing sis... yung sacrifice, effort, and most specially, your faith is what counts

i would strongly suggest though na salighan niyo yung 3 days na yun straight...

@rianne_mallows: thanka sis! our plan is to come early nalang, attend the mass, join the procession. then kahit nasa labas nalang kami for the fertility dance. the dance happens pagbalik nna ng procession right?

yes sis we're staying for the entire 3 days, hanap nalang kami hotel na malapit if meron. thanks!
