Bloodlines #4 is called the Fiery Heart.

The Fiery Heart is going to be told from both Sydney and Adrian's points of view. That's right. If you've ever wanted to get inside the crazy world of Adrian Ivashkov's head, this is it. It'll still be in first person, but the POV will alternate chapters. I'm so excited about this, it's not even funny. Well, actually..since it's Adrian, it'll be hilarious. I think you guys'll love it...

I started liking vampire literature back in, like, 2004 because I was really depressed and my lifestyle was dark.

Now I hate how shitty it's become. F*ck Twilight. You know that the vampire genre can't get any lower when even Meg Cabot has written something for it.

Actually, I blame Anne Rice for the vampire madness. She successfully turned vampires into a sex symbol and everyone is now dragging along. Hahaha

same here - anne rice got me started on vampires and also, effectively, ruined other vampires for me... her vampire chronicles were so good (and yes, so sexy!) that i've never really liked any other vampire not penned by her...

I love LJ Smith's Night World series. Great writing style, engaging characters, and un-annoying heroines. Each book is a standalone story and each book focuses on a different couple, but characters from other books have cameos. Most (but not all) of the books feature a vampire as one-half of the couple.
