since we didn't go out for new year's day yesterday, mom treated us for post-NY lunch here kanina. eto mga kinuha namin... we had separate plates pero for some stuff, share nalang since tikim-tikim lang
- sushi, maki, sashimi- my parents ate a lot of these japanese stuff. di ako kumakain nyan so deadma.
- crispy roast pork- parang lechon! hehe sister ko ang sumulit dito.
- roast beef- tender. i like kahit without sauce.
- steamed shrimps- yummy!
- seafood hotpot- ang dami. good for 3-4 ata ito. masarap pampainit yung soup
- pizza- so-so lang!
- grilled squid and tuna- ok yung tuna. ok sana squid kaso parang nasunog.
- rellenong bangus- mahilig ako dito so thumbs up!
- e-fu noodles- dad said it was ok.
- frozen yogurt w/ mini m&ms- hehe sarap!
- mango crepe with vanilla ice cream & choco syrup- sister got 2 servings so i guess it was delicious!
- thai pomelo salad- mom tried it, forgot to ask how was it.
- grilled veggies, boiled corn- ok as starters.
- squid balls- i liked the spicy one! dad tried the plain one, wala daw lasa. di ko alam if they have dips e. dami pang kinds of balls available na spicy & plain.
- dimsum- i liked the hakaw & siomai with quail egg. dami pang options, di ko na na-try.
- cold cuts- ok din. my parents got other stuff, ako yung parang sweet ham lang.
- cheese w/ tomato and pesto- di ko alam tawag. ok lang, i got one piece lang to try.
- ube halaya- masarap pero ang tamis because of the macapuno.
- penne pasta salad- di daw ok!
- pichi-pichi, biko- ok lang, tasted like the usual kakanin.
- taro bun- nasarapan ako dito! hehe.
other items my family tried na naaalala ko pero di ko na natanong if okay ba or hindi:
- mallows dipped in choco- tagal i-refill so pagbalik ko wala na.
- lumpiang shanghai
- leche flan
- tempura
- kutchinta
forgot na yung iba kung meron pa, hehe. dami rin namin hindi na-try coz super busog na
Comments:
- medyo natatagalan mag-refill sa ibang items. (Ang bilis maubos ng lumpiang shanghai, rellenong bangus, boiled corn, shrimps, mallows, tempura, etc. kahapon!)
- pag super full na yung place, hirap tumawag ng waiter.
- ok naman pag yung dish i-deliver sa table (like yung pina-grill or hotpot), di naman matagal.
- may konting langaw inside. But generally malinis naman yung place.
- i just hate the smell outside. Dahil yun sa Manila Bay.
- no hassle if may reservation!
