Saan malapit ang vikings? Hindi ako familiar sa centerstage is that a ktv? Is vikings near the moa strip yung may aling tonya's resto,mga paluto, iceberg, yung malaking ferris wheel, yung train...jan ba siya malapit? Or dun siya sa main moa mall located?

Sis bring ka lang valid ID with picture and birth date indicated.. Like SSS, Passport, PRC ID.. Be sure na magpa-reserve ka 2 weeks before para hindi ka pipila ng matagal. And dapat on the day ng bday mo ikaw pupunta doon and bring at least 1 kasama..

ate at vikings marikina last night. i didn't like it at all..
salmon sashimi - the cut was too big and included the brown part which was tough and something about the taste was just not right.
tuna sashimi - they placed the tuna sashimi on top of a giant tuna fish. do they change the giant fish everyday? i doubt it! it's disgusting coz bacteria from the display fish will transfer to the sashimi.
carving station - this should be the highlight but all 3 meat (beef, lamp, pork) were tough and just not edible.
cooked food - saw a mosquito swimming in one of their cooked dish.
tempura - basket was always empty and the batter was like a breading that was too rough
sushis - beautifully presented but the taste did not deliver. even simple california maki failed because they used low quality mangoes ( tasted bulok )
appetizers and salads - looked as if it had seen better days. taste was even more repulsive.
baked osyters - oysters were not fresh at all! the flesh had shrunk and the odor was off. it was topped with a lot of cheese so people wouldn't see the sorry state of oysters.
baked mussels - cheese used was cheap and hard.
dessert - there were 2 versions of creme brulee. i liked the darker one. also cheesecake was okay.
drinks - had sago and gulaman. it was okay.
roe - they offered different kinds of roe which were good.
potato chips - with all the food, this was only thing i really liked. tasted like a home made crunchy chips.

overall, i liked the ambiance but food was too low a quality to be coming back. =(

baka namadali sa pag open kasi malapit na magdecember. sana inayos muna nila lahat before nagbukas kasi first impressions last. sayang naman yung image din ng MOA Vikings kung ganyan yung sa Marikina

@calpy sis, did you reserve in advance in SM Marikina? Ang OA naman kasi nung sa MOA, one week in advance ang reservation.  We're thinking of trying out the Vikings in Marikina, pero parang di ata sulit if ganyan ang quality ng food.

calpy: Hindi din ako satisfied when I ate at Vikings MOA. Maybe because nako-compare ko masyado sa ibang buffets like Alba and Market Cafe.

SM Marikina Vikings has a promo pala. "All birthday celebrants of October and November get to eat for free any day of their birth month. Must be accompanied by one full-paying adult."
